        개항기 조선의 대외무역 연구

        This study aims to analyze various aspects of the foreign trade of the opening period in Joseon through the analysis of new port-opening era trade data, not previously used. The ‘various aspects’ in this study include (1) trends in foreign trade during the port-opening era, which encompass the value of imports and exports of the three Joseon trade bureaus, the tonnage of entered vessels, and trends of collected tax amounts; (2) port-specific trade volume analysis, which includes the import value of Western goods per port, the export value of domestic products, and trends in imports/exports/ship tax per port; and (3) country-specific trade volume analysis, which includes the total export/import value ratio between Joseon and key foreign countries, and trends in the tonnage of vessels from major foreign countries entering Joseon. Therefore, this study has significance in that it expands our understanding of the opening period of Joseon by analyzing the foreign trade patterns of early opening period Joseon based on new trade data that were not utilized before. Through this research, it is expected to derive implications about the trade trends and characteristics of Joseon as shown in the opening era Joseon trade data

        병원 모바일 앱 서비스 품질이 소비자 만족, 관여도, 재이용 의도에 미치는 영향

        Purpose: The purpose of the study is to identify the influence of the hospital mobile app service quality on consumer satisfaction, involvement, and re-use intention of consumers who have experience in hospital mobile app service. Methodology: The survey was conducted on 230 users. The collected data were analyzed using correlation analysis, multiple regression analysis, and the Process Model in Hayes(2013). Findings: (1)The usability, reliability, and medical information provision among the service quality factors of hospital mobile apps had an effect on reuse intention, and consumer satisfaction partially mediated. (2)The usability and the provision of medical information were partially mediated by the involvement, which also affected the intention to reuse. (3)Only reliability showed an age-moderated effect. In reliability and re-use intent, age was a moderated mediating effect that controlled the effect of consumer satisfaction. Practical Implications: The results of this study provide initial data of mobile app services centered on hospitals and prove the type of consumer usage. It suggests that it can be used to attract potential consumers of hospitals and strategies to increase the use of mobile apps.

        A Review on the Macromolecular Compositions of Phytoplankton and the Implications for Aquatic Biogeochemistry

        Biochemical composition of phytoplankton is a key indicator of the physiological and nutritional status of phytoplankton. A balanced biochemical pattern represents a healthy and productive metabolism in the autotrophic levels which can facilitate proper functioning of higher level organisms. The estimation of biochemical compositions was initiated in the early 1970’s. However, there has been a significant set of modifications in the extraction method and improvements in the sampling and analysis techniques since then. Similarly, the extent of biochemical measurements from various aquatic ecosystems around the globe has also increased. Recently, biochemical patterns are being used as a tool to track the changes in the physiological status of phytoplankton as a response to climate change. Such investigations are also forming part of research works on marine food webs and the nutritional status of ecosystems. This article is a brief review of research works carried out so far in an attempt to understand the biochemical compositions of phytoplankton in the global oceans and the implications with regard to changing environmental conditions.

        국내 경매시장 분석을 통한 예술품 담보대출 적격성 연구 : 서울옥션과 케이옥션을 대상으로

        전 세계 예술품 담보대출의 규모는 매년 성장하고 있으며, 예술품 담보대출에 관심을 보이는 컬렉터 또한 그 수가 상당하다. 그러나 국내 예술품 담보대출을 시행하고 있는 기관은 현재 매우 적으며, 그마저도 활발하게 이용되고 있지 않다. 금융기관도 예술품에 대한 대출을 피하는데, 이는 예술 작품의 가치 평가는 어려우며 예술시장은 불안정하다고 여겨지기 때문이다. 예술품을 하나의 금융자산으로 활용하기 위해서는 재무학적 방법을 이용한 정량적 분석이 필요하나, 국내에서는 분석에 활용 가능한 예술품 데이터 자체가 부족하여 예술품에 대한 제대로 된 데이터 분석도 찾기 힘들다. 따라서 본 연구에 앞서 국내 예술품 경매 거래 데이터를 수집하고, 이를 분석에 이용가능한 형태로 정제하는 과정을 가졌다. 이를 이용해 본 논문에서는 정량적 분석을 통해 국내 경매시장에서 거래된 예술품의 담보대출물로써의 적격성 분석하고, 그동안 논의된 적 없던 국내 경매시장의 리더인 서울옥션과 이를 뒤쫓는 케이옥션의 경매거래 위험 구조를 비교 분석한다. 분석의 핵심은 기존의 연구에서 무시되었던 경매에서 유찰된 작품을 복구하여 데이터 분석에 포함함으로써 데이터 삭제로 인해 발생하는 편향을 보정하는 것이다. 데이터 분석 결과, 국내 예술품 경매에서 유찰된 작품을 고려하지 않았을 때 담보물이 가진 하방위험이 더 크게 제시되었고, 포트폴리오 내의 작품 수가 늘어날수록 분산효과를 가진다는 것이 확인되었다. 또한 서울옥션과 케이옥션에서 거래된 작품을 비교했을 때, 케이옥션에서 거래된 작품의 파산 위험 확률이 더 높았다. 본 연구는 현재 국내에서 예술품 담보대출을 시행 또는 고려하고 있는 기관들이 담보대출 업무를 진행함에 있어 고려해야 할 사항을 재무적 관점에서 제시했다는 의의가 있다. In this paper, we investigate the impact of implicit seller reserves on the value-at-risk estimation using historical Korean arts market auction data from 1998 to 2019. We focus our investigation on whether fine art pieces can be employed as collateral by financial institutions. We overcome sample survivalship bias that is naturally embedded in fine arts auction data to control for the impact of buy-in data. We find that the downside risk of auction prices deviating from presale estimates made by experts depends significantly on whether buy-ins are considered in the estimation. We also find that when buy-ins are incorporated, the risk figure turns out to be lower. This result could partially explain why the amount of loan with fine arts collateral is very low in Korea. Lastly, we compare and contrast the risk figures of the two leading arts auction houses, Seoul and K Auction, to find that the probability of collateral shortfall of art pieces transacted in K Auction is higher.

        Decoupling of Macromolecular Compositions of Particulate Organic Matters between the Water Columns and the Sediment in Geoje-Hansan Bay, South Korea

        The biochemical composition of particulate organic matter (POM) is very important to understand in relation to the trophic conditions of marine ecosystems since it forms the primary trophic base. The present study investigated the biochemical compositions (i.e., carbohydrates, proteins, and lipids) of POM monthly from January to December 2015 in Geoje-Hansan Bay to determine if the macromolecular composition of POM is coupled between the water columns and sediment. A spatial difference in the macromolecular compositions was observed in the water columns between the inner and outer bays, which may be caused by the different physiological conditions of phytoplankton growth that are due to the water circulation pattern in the bay. In contrast, no distinctive spatial difference in the macromolecular compositions was found in the sedimentary organic matter. Overall, while carbohydrates were the dominant (45.7%) macromolecules of the POM in the water columns, proteins were dominant (47.9%) in the sedimentary organic matter during our observation period. Decoupling of the macromolecular compositions between the water columns and underneath the sediment in Geoje-Hansan Bay appears to be a result of the various effects of selective filter feeding by oysters and protein-dominant benthic microalgae and fouling organisms.

        A Review on Marine N2 Fixation: Mechanism, Evolution of Methodologies, Rates, and Future Concerns

        Investigations on marine N2 fixation have gained momentum since 1960s with eventual establishments of relevant methodologies to identify species involved and quantify the rates. The evolution of various methodologies to understand N2 fixation and to estimate its rates were underpinned by the constant efforts of pioneers in the ocean biogeochemical research field. Those efforts succeeded in introducing various methodologies that include experimental (15N2 bubble method and acetylene reduction method), geochemical (N* and P* method), mathematical modelling, and remote sensing techniques. However, the construction of an accurate N budget is still under progress due to inseparable issues associated with each method and difficulties in conducting the experiments onboard on a larger scale. Nevertheless, the contributions by each of the methodologies are significant and helped in forming basic ideas about N2 fixation activities on a global scale. It is not only important to recognize the contributions made by the formation of various methodologies by marine research pioneers, but also vital to summarize what we have achieved in the marine N2 fixation research area so far. Hence, this review is an attempt to brief on the various milestones achieved in research on the N2 fixation mechanism, species involved, evolution of methodologies to estimate N2 fixation rates, species identification, budgets, and future concerns.

        우리나라의 연평균 에너지 소비량이 가파르게 증가하고 있다. 이에 따른 국가와 가정 내 에너지 효율을 높이며 절약할 방안에 대한 모색이 대두되고 있다. 본 논문은 IoT 기술을 활용하여 효율적인 에너지 절약 시스템을 제안한다. 실시간 모니터링과 센서 데이터를 기반으로 에너지 절약 시나리오를 제공하고, LED 원격 제어를 유도한다. 더 나아가 이 시스템이 모든 가정 내에 적용된다면 효율적으로 에너지를 절약할 수 있을 것이라 예상된다.
