energy band structure of Gap is calculated by the empirical pseudopotential method. The Lowdin Brust perturbation theory is considered to reduce matrix size of the secular equation. For these calculations the matrix size(∼15×15) is smaller than in the CB(∼20×20) case and J.R. Chelikowsky etal. case (∼30×30). Form factors are decided from reflectivity spectra, ultraviolet photoemission spectra(UPS) and x-ray photoemission spectra (XPS) data. Reflectivity data is well explained by these calculations. The agreements of theory and experimental data of UPS and XPS are improved by considering effective mass.

환자의 x-ray 사진을 비롯한 각종 영상자료와 기타 진료 자료는 날로 그 量이 방대해져서 보관과 관리에 많은 문제점이 따르고 있다. 이에 경이적인 기억용량을 갖는 光 디스크 저장기술과 영상처리 기술, 근거리 네크워크 등이 통합된 영상 시스템을 이용하여 환자 정보를 좁은 공간에 보관하고 네트워크를 통해 필요한곳으로 전송할 수 있는 방법에 대해 고찰하였다. There has been many difficulties to store and transfer images and other data of patients. Because the amount of X-ray films and other data is so much and increasing day after day. Optical store would function similarly to a facility's film library, with the added benefits of reduced stored space, faster access time, and no loss of films. The entire imaging system could coexist on the network with the facility's hospital information system, allowing a complete integration of patient images, patient data records, and administrative functions.
온도 및 조성비 변화에 따른 질화물계 화합물 반도체 GaAs1-xNx의 에너지 밴드갭과 광학상수 계산

본 연구에서는 무질서 효과가 고려된, 새로이 가정한 가상 결정 근사법을 갖는 empirical pseudopotential method를 사용하여 온도와 조성비 변화에 따른 3원계 질화물계 화합물 반도체 GaAs1-xNx의 휨 매개변수 및 에너지 밴드갭을 계산하였다. 300K의 조성비 구간(0≤x≤0.05)에서 에너지 밴드갭들이 급격히 감소하며, 해당하는 계산된 휨 매개변수가 15eV임을 알 수 있었다. 에너지 밴드갭 계산 결과로부터 굴절률 n과 고주파 유전상수 ε를 계산하였고, 에너지 밴드갭 계산 결과는 실험치를 대체로 잘 설명하였다. The energy band gaps and the bowing parameters of zincblende GaAs1-xNx on the variation of temperature and composition are determined by using an empirical pseudopotential method with another virtual crystal approximation, which includes the disorder effect. The bowing parameter calculated is 15eV and the energy band gaps are decreased rapidly for GaAs1-xNx (0≤x≤0.05, 300K). A refractive index n and a function of high-frequency dielectric constant ε are calculated by the results of energy band gaps and the calculation results of energy band gaps are consistent with experimental values.

An implementation of the spin-dependent differential cross-section is discussed for the elastic hadron–nucleus scattering process in the GEANT4. To validate our implementation, real measurement results of proton-carbon cross-section are compared and the results are discussed. This implementation is applied to study a proposed experiment on the proton electric dipole moment in particular the systematic effects of the experiment.
