Wet Oxygen 분위기로 제작한 z-cut $Ti;LiNbO_3$도파로 광특성 및 두께에 따른 삽입손실

Ti:LiNbO$_3$ optical waveguides have been fabricated by Ti-diffusion in wet oxygen atmosphere. The fabrication conditions of furnace temperature, diffusion time and bubbler temperature were 105$0^{\circ}C$, 8 hours and 9$0^{\circ}C$, respectively and Ti thickness was varied from 700$\AA$ to 1500$\AA$. In this paper, the nearfield patterns, mode sizes (hirizontal/vertical) and insertion loss of waveguides were discussed at wavelength 1550 nm ad function of Ti thickness. With the planar waveguide, the effective index change and diffusion depth were calculated at 632.8nm using the prism coupling method. From these results, the best Ti thickness in our conditions seems like to by 1200$\AA$~1300$\AA$.

In this study, we describe the properties of an electro-optical modulator with CPW(coplanar waveguide) electrode fabricated on $LiNvO_3$ optical waveguide, that is applicable to optical communications. These optical modulators have features that use a buffer layer to reduce velocity mismatch between microwaves and optical wave as well as employ CPW to improve impedance and propagation mode mismatch between the electrode and the external circuits. And an annealed proton exchange technique for obtaining low-loss optical waveguides and good reproducibility was employed. Taking into consideration the mentioned background, to achieve the lower driving voltage of optical modulator, we have re-disigned the longer interaction length. And their device properties are discussed also. As a result, fabricated optical modulators of good 10Gps operation and low voltage(5.6V of the halfwave lengfth voltage) at an $1.5{\mu}m$ wavelength are achived with good reproducibility.

The polycrystalline CuInS_2 thin films are prepared by vacuum heat treatment of layer, which is deposited by vaccum evaporation in order. The electrical and optical properties of the films are investigated at various sulfur deposition mole rate, substrate temperature, heat treatment temperature and time. From data, n type- CuInS_2 exhibits resistivity, transmittance and energy band gap with 142[Ωㆍ㎝], 73[%], and 1.5[eV] respectively at optimum fabrication condition. Finally, the films are fabricated with chalcopyrite structure.
Cu_0.28Ag_0.72InSe_1.4S_0.6 薄膜에 關한 硏究

The polycrystalline Cu_0.28Ag_0.72InSe_1.4S_0.6 thin films are prepared by vacuum heat treatment of layer, which is deposited by direct resisting vacuum evaporation. From optical absorption spetra, the optical band gap energy is determined to be 1.5[eV] at room temperature. From electrical method, hole concentration, resistivity and mobility are 9.3*10^18[㎝^-3], 6*10^-2[Ωㆍ㎝], 11.2[㎠/V.sec] respectively at room temperature.

This paper describes an effort to develop a microcomputer-based parameter identification system for a brushless D.C.motor driven by three phase trapezoidal current. It is found that Pasek’s equation is valid for the brushless DC motor driven by three phase trapezoidal current. Back EMF equation is derived from back EMF waveform of brushless DC motor driven by three phase trapezoidal current and it is verified that the voltage constant obtained by back EMF equation and the torque constant are equal, in the pure SI metric system. To minimize errors due to the ripple component in the measured armature current, digital averaging filter is employed. The algorithm is implemented on IBM-PC/AT using C language. In the proposed method, the measured current is in excellent agreement with the calculated current. And this close agreement conform the validity of this technique.

This paper describes a new digital control system based on the model state equations and a prediction method of the load current for PLW inverter with DC link. A new technique used dead beat theory to obtain a sinusoidal PWM inverter output voltage with LC filter has been presented. The dead schemes possess one sample delay in theses controlled signal which can compensate by prediction of the reference wave of the load current at next sample time. Load current prediction which has quick response is applied to compensate the random and high frequency components. This proposed control inherently is verified vary good sinusoidal output wave synthesis of voltage and current, providing accurate phase positioning for various load and excellent transient response. The experimental implementation of the system uses a real time TMS320C31 DSP(Digita1 Signal Processor)based digital controller.

Ti films were deposited onto 100×100 ㎜ alumina substrates using dc magnetron sputtering under the following conditions; substrate temperature of R.T.∼400 ℃, annealing temperature of 100∼400 ℃ and sputtering gas pressure of 1.3∼3.0×10^-2 Torr. And the film were examined by X-ray diffraction analysis (XRD), scanning electron microscopy(SEM) and 4-point measurement system. The best electrical and structural properties obtained by substrate temperature of ∼200 ℃, target-substrate distance of ∼14 ㎝ and sputtering pressure of 1.3∼1.7×10^-2 Torr. Also at that condition the most excellent adhesion was observed.
