Positive Tuberculin Skin Test or Interferon-Gamma Release Assay in Patients with Radiographic Lesions Suggesting Old Healed Tuberculosis

Radiographic lesions suggesting old healed tuberculosis (TB) is considered a risk factor for the subsequent development of active TB. The aim of this study was to estimate the positive rates of tuberculin skin test (TST) and interferon-gamma release assay (IGRA) in persons with old healed TB. Participants with lesions suggesting old healed TB on chest images and controls without such lesions were prospectively enrolled between January 1,2010, and January 31, 2011. TST and the QuantiFERON-TB Gold In-Tube test (QFT-GIT)were performed. In total, 193 participants with old healed TB and 126 controls were recruited. The rates of positive TST and QFT-GIT among patients with old healed TB were 54.6% and 77.7%, respectively. The rates of positive TST and QFT-GIT among patients without old healed TB were 38.9% and 61.9%. Sixteen percent of participants with old healed TB showed negative results by both TST and QFT-GIT. The positive rate of TST waned among participants with old healed TB who were older than 60 yr, whereas QFT-GIT positivity was unaffected by age. The positive rates of TST and IGRA among participants with radiographic lesions suggesting old healed TB was higher than without those lesions. In addition, IGRA may be more accurate than TST for the detection of latent TB infection,especially in populations of individuals older than 60 yr.

Recently, due to the proliferation of smartphones, users of mobile multimedia services which are based on wireless internet without constraint of the time and places are significantly increased. In this study, considering the characteristics of mobile multimedia and the user behavior, we analyse the factors which have an effect on the behavioral intention to use the mobile multimedia services. For this purpose, we use the model which is based on Technology Accepted Model (TAM) and add two constructs; the perceived enjoyment and the perceived risk. A survey data for 280 students at the K cyber university is used for statistical analysis As a result, the perceived ease of use affects the perceived usefulness and the perceived enjoyment, and the perceived ease of use. And the perceived usefulness and perceived enjoyment affect continuous intention to use. On the other hand, the hypothesis which the perceived risk would affect adversely the continuous intention to use is rejected. Through this study, we expect to provide the useful implications for the mobile multimedia services and contribute to the development of strategy for them.

문화적 의미를 통해 본 ‘광주의 빛’ 연구

광주의 지명에서 유래된 ‘빛고을’은 1980년대부터 광주를 지칭해온 별칭이다. 이를 계기로 광주시는 광산업을 적극 진흥하기 시작했고, 빛의 모티브를 문화산업으로 확장?적용해 왔다. 특히 ‘빛’은 광주시에서 최근 몇 년간 개최된 문화예술 관련 행사와 공간기획에서 독보적인 키워드로 대두되었다. 그러나 산업과 문화행사를 위한 활용에 비해 그 근간이 되는 빛의 의미에 대한 진지한 논의와 연구는 미비하였으며, 광주는 주로 빛의 물리적인 특징에 연계된 경제적 효과 창출에 집중해 왔음을 알 수 있었다. 본 연구는 이러한 문제의식 아래 광주시가 왜 빛이라는 개념을 이용하여 도시를 브랜딩하고 있으며, 광주의 빛이 과연 무엇이고 어떻게 규정되어야하는지에 대한 비평적 고찰을 수행하고자 했다. 우선 빛의 과학적, 정신적, 문화적 정의와 의미를 짚어보고 광주 지명의 역사적 유래와 광산업, 5?18 운동과 관련된 빛의 개념을 추적하였다. 그리고 현재 광주시에서 진행되고 있는 빛 관련 문화행사 중 ‘광주세계光엑스포’와 ‘미디어아트페스티벌’을 분석하고 문제점을 도출하였다. 이러한 문화행사의 확산 속에서 무엇보다 필요한 것은 빛의 의미에 대한 인문학적, 문화적 숙고라 간주하며, 광주의 빛이 나아가야 할 방향에 대해 다음과 같이 제안한다. 첫째, 광주의 빛은 과학기술과 문화예술이 조화를 이룬 융합의 형태를 지향해야한다. 둘째, 동양의 음양사상과 서양의 해체주의를 바탕으로 과학과 예술, 산업과 문화, 물질과 정신 등의 이분법적인 사고와 위계질서들에 대해 도전해가는 과정이어야 한다. 셋째, 광주의 민주, 인권 정신을 바탕으로 이를 실천하는 열린 개념이어야 할 것이다. 지역의 경제 발전이라는 목표 아래 급격하게 진행되어온 문화산업의 흐름 속에서 그동안 소외되어왔던 광주의 역사와 정신을 담은 빛의 의미 및 그 표현에 대한 진지한 연구와 더불어 광주가 지향해야 할 빛의 방향에 대한 논의가 필요한 시점이다. ‘Light Village’ was named after the place name of Gwangju and has been used as another name that indicated Gwangju after 1980s. Emphasizing the name of ‘Light Village’, the city of Gwangju has been literally and actively supporting the optical electronics industry in the subject of ‘light’ and started expanding the scope of the motif of light into the cultural industry. Especially, the light has been in a limelight as a matchless keyword in the field of cultural and artistic events and spaces for the past few years. However, compared to how Gwangju has been branding the city with the light as a major industry or an event, an in-depth discussion of the meaning of ‘Light of Gwangju’ is currently superficially dealt with. This study started from an inquiry as to what was the origin of ‘Light Village’ in Gwangju with an awareness of an issue along with the meaning of the light in Gwangju and also why the city of Gwangju is currently branding the city by using the light. Hereupon, this study was intended to analyze the cultural events and spaces in progress in Gwangju and to define the identity and the meaning of the light in Gwangju based on aforementioned consideration of the light. First of all, the light of Gwangju not only is in the form of industrial light in the perspective of scientific technology but also pursues to the unified form in harmonization with cultural art. Secondly, the light of Gwangju is based on the open thought derived from the harmonization of yin and yang idea East Asia and also de-constructivism in the Western world including the brightness as well as darkness behind. Third, it is suggested to establish the identity of the light of Gwangju in connection with democracy and human right as a spirit of Gwangju and also regard it as an opened concept not in the fixed concept and form but in the relationship. Therefore, it shall be a continuous course for criticizing and removing the trends that exclude dichotomous thought and an order of rank. In the flow of cultural industry of Gwangju city rapidly accompanied for the rapid local economic development, it is of an assignment to identify how to research and develop the light in the history and spirit of Gwangju.

증례 : 호흡기 ; 약제 감수성 폐결핵 환자의 초 치료 중 발생한 다제내성 결핵

Standard short-course chemotherapy (SSC) is recommended for new patients with pulmonary tuberculosis (TB). This approach has been regarded as among the most effective tools for preventing the development of resistance to anti-TB drugs. We report on the development of multidrug-resistance during SSC in a patient with drug-susceptible TB. Isoniazid, rifampin, pyrazinamide, and ethambutol were started, and negative culture conversion was obtained. Ethambutol was discontinued after 5 weeks of treatment due to visual dysfunction, and pyrazinamide was discontinued after a 2-month phase of intensive treatment. However, M. tuberculosis was cultivated from sputum collected after 9 weeks of treatment. Drug-susceptibility testing revealed resistance to isoniazid, rifampin, ethambutol, and rifabutin. Given that the patient took medication regularly, this observation suggests the possibility that some patients acquire drug resistance during SCC. (Korean J Med 2012;82:614-617)

트위터의 집단지성 생성과정에 관한 연구 -`국정농단 사태`에 대한 퍼스 기호학적 적용-

최근 한국 사회는 대통령과 최측근들이 연루된 권력남용 및 비리사건으로 파문이 일었다. 대통령과 정부에 분노한 많은 시민들이 거리와 광장으로 모여들었고, 언론과 인터넷은 이번 사태와 관련한 이슈들을 신속하게 전달하였다. 특히 소셜 미디어는 누구나 자유롭게 의견을 개진하고 실시간으로 정보를 제공할 수 있는 장으로 역할하면서, 국정농단 사태와 관련한 여러 의미들을 생산해냈다. 본 연구에서는 소셜 미디어의 소통방식과 집단지성 생성과정이 퍼스 기호학의 `세미오시스(Semiosis)`와 유사함을 설명하고자 한다. 소셜 미디어의 소통방식과 집단지성 생성과정을 알아보기 위해 빅데이터 수집 프로그램인 노드엑셀(NodeXL)을 사용하여 트위터(Twitter) 데이터를 수집하고 네트워크를 분석했다. 수집한 자료의 키워드는 이번 국정농단 사건과 관련된 `청문회`와 `탄핵`이다. 분석 결과, 트위터 상에서 하나의 의견(기호)이 다양한 의미들로 확장되고 새로운 기호들이 생성되는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 또한 다양한 의견을 가진 클러스터(Cluster)들이 네트워크 상에서 상충하는 양상을 볼 수 있었으며, 온라인상의 네트워크가 오프라인과 연계되면서 실제 사회적 움직임을 촉발시키고 있음을 알 수 있었다. A scandal recently plagued Korean society, namely the corruption and influence-peddling scandal involving close confidants of President Park. The scandal pushed many people to take to the streets and squares to demonstrate their anger against the President and Government. Social media specifically had a role in communicating information in real time, allowing the people to express their opinions freely and creating several meanings related to this situation. In this research, we explain that social media as a method of communication and the process of collective intelligence resemble the semiosis referred to in Peirce`s Semiotics. To investigate the social media communication method and collective intelligence generation process, we collected “Twitter” data and analyzed the network using NodeXL. The key words of the collected data were “Hearing” and “Impeachment.” The results of the analysis of the Twitter data confirmed that one opinion(sign) on Twitter extended various meanings and produced new signs. In addition, we observed conflict of the clusters with varied opinions and confirmed that online networks can trigger real social movements when connected offline.

현대사회 주거 공간에 관한 연구 : 1-2인 가구를 위한 주거 형태를 중심으로

오늘날의 주거는 인구의 감소와 도시화, 정보화 등 사회 변화로 더 많은 기능과 역할과 함께 중요성이 더욱 부각되고 있다. 최근의 사회적 트렌드인 저출산, 고령화, 1인 가구의 증가 등은 주거 환경에 큰 변화를 일으키고 있어, 주택 유형에 대한 선호도 또한 영향을 받고 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 인간이 살아가는 필수적인 의식주 중 하나인 주거에 대해 조사함으로써 급격하게 증가하고 있는 1~2인 가구를 위한 다양한 소형주택의 유형을 확인하고 현대인들의 요구를 반영할 수 있는 협소주택에 대해 탐구해보고자 한다. Today's housing is becoming more important along with more functions and roles due to social changes such as population decline, urbanization, and informatization. Recent social trends such as low birth rate, aging, and an increase in single-person households are causing major changes in the residential environment and lifestyle, and preference for housing types is also affected. In this paper, by investigating housing, one of the essential food, clothing, and shelter for humans, we will identify various types of small houses for one or two-person households that are rapidly increasing and explore narrow houses that can reflect the needs of modern people.

보육교사 양성교육과정 교과목에 대한 보육교사의 인식

This study was to investigate the perceptions of childcare teachers about the subjects that must be completed in the pre-service education. The data were collected from 293 childcare teachers through rating, ranking, and open-ended questions about the importance of subjects, the ratio of subjects, and improvement of the pre-service education. As a result of data analysis, the respondents perceived childcare practice , child development , childcare teacher s personality , and safety management as relatively more important than other subjects. Also they proposed that the subject ratio of teacher personality, childcare practice, and childcare knowledge and skills should be similar. Regarding the improvement of the organization and operation of the curriculum for pre-service childcare teachers, the respondents replied that it is necessary to expand the subjects related to childcare practice and to operate the subjects on-site connection, to strengthen teacher character education, to reinforce education related to understand young children, and to expand the subjects for parental counseling. Based on the research results, the direction for improving the curriculum of pre-service childcare teachers was discussed and follow-up tasks were suggested. 본 연구는 보육교사 자격 취득을 위한 양성과정 이수 교과목에 대해 보육교사의 인식을 조사하고 보육교사 양성교육과정의 개선 방향에 대한 시사점을 얻는데 목적을 두었다. 어린이집에 근무하고 있는 293명의 현직 교사를 대상으로 보육교사 자격취득 교과목의 중요도와 교과목 편성비율, 양성교육과정의 개선사항에 대해 평정형, 순위형 및 개방형 문항을 통해 응답을 수집하였다. 응답 자료의 분석결과, 응답자들은 이수 교과목 중 ‘보육실습’, ‘영유아 발달’, ‘보육교사(인성)론’, ‘아동안전관리’를 다른 교과목에 비해 상대적으로 더 중요하다고 인식하였으며, 교사인성 영역과 보육실무 영역, 보육지식 및 기술영역의 교과목 편성 비율이 비슷해야 한다고 인식하는 것으로 나타났다. 보육교사 양성교육과정의 교과목 편성 및 운영의 개선과 관련해서는 보육실무 관련 교과목 확대 및 현장 연계 운영, 교사인성 교과목 확대 및 교육 강화, 영유아 이해 및 교육관련 교과목 강화, 부모상담 관련 교과목 확대 등으로 의견이 수렴되었다. 연구결과를 바탕으로 보육교사 양성교육과정의 개선 방향을 논의하고 후속과제를 제안하였다.

차이코프스키의 피아노 음악의 러시아 민속음악적 요소에 관한 연구: Scherzo a la russe, Dumka and Invitation to the Trepak을 중심으로

본 논문은 러시아 대표 작곡가인 차이코프스키 피아노 독주곡 중 Scherzo a la russe (Op.1 No, 1), Dumka,Op. 59, Invitation to the Trepak, Op. 72, No. 18을 중심으로 연구하였다. 이 세 곡은 작곡가의 피아노 작품중 민속적 요소를 함유한 대표적인 작품이며, 본 논문은 세 곡에 나타난 러시아의 여러 민속 요소가 어떻게 작품에 표현되었는지 분석하는 것을 목적으로 하며 궁극적으로 이를 바탕으로 연주자의 곡에 대한 이해와 표현에 도움이 되고자 한다. 악곡 분석에 앞서 그의 민속음악 작곡기법에 영향을 끼쳤다고 보는 유년시절과 교육 환경을 알아보고 이를 통해 그가 민속음악을 접하게 된 계기와 그에 대한 관점들을 다루었다. 악곡분석에서는 민속노래, 민속악기, 민속춤 등을 소개하고 이들이 악곡에 어떻게 적용되었는지 분석하였다. 본논문을 통해 작곡가가 작품에 표현한 민속 요소들을 연주자가 해석하는데 도움이 되었으면 한다. This thesis focuses on Tchaikovsky’s Russian solo piano music, Scherzo a la russe, Dumka and Invitation to the Trepak. Tchaikovsky grew up in the small town and was educated in the cosmopolitan city of St. Petersburg. From these environments, hiscompositional technique was established and developed. The purpose of this is analysing folkelements in these three works and helping performers’ understanding and giving ideas for a deeper interpretation ultimately. This document addresses Tchaikovsky’s exposure to Russianfolk music in his early years, and his approach to folk music. Furthermore this study examine and analyse the use of folk songs, folk dances and folk instruments in three pieces. Tchaikovsky’s piano writing as they appear in three works pianists will be able to improve the performance quality.
