In DC tracking power supply system, ground faults are currently detected by the potential relay, 64P. Though 64P relay detects ground fault, it cannot identify the faulted region which causes long traffic delays and safety problem to passengers. A new ground fault protective relay scheme, △I ground fault protective relay, that can identify the faulted region is presented in this paper. In △I ground fault protective relaying scheme, ground fault is detected by 59, overvoltage relay, which operates ground switch installed between the negative bus and the ground. It preliminarily chooses the faulted feeder after comparing the current increases among feeders and trips the corresponding feeder breaker. After some time delay, it then recloses the breaker if it finds the preselected feeder is not the actual faulted feeder. Whether or not the preselected feeder is the actual faulted feeder is determined by checking the breaker trip status in the neighboring substation in the direction of the tripped breaker. If the corresponding breaker in the neighboring substation is also tripped, it finally judges the preselected feeder is actually a faulted feeder. Otherwise it recloses the tripped breaker. Its algorithms is presented and verified by EMTP simulation.

A demonstration plant was carried out to investigate the removal efficiency of NH_3-N and KMnO_4 consumption depending on the existence of pre-chlorination for the ozonation and activated carbon process in the S water treatment plant which is located at the middle of Keum River. The averge removal efficiency of KMnO_4 consumption for O_3/GAC processes with pre-chlorination and O_3/BAC processes without pre-chlorination were 48.6% and 50% respectively. It is similar to removal effect of KMnO_4 consumption for GAC and BAC process depending on the existence of pre-chlorination. Otherwise, the removal of THMFP for GAC and BAC process was 58% and 68% respectively. NH_3-N was not almost removed by sand filter and ozonation, but the average removal efficiency in the BAC process was about 31%. Especially, NH_3-N was not almost removed by O_3/BAC processes at the low temperature (below 10℃) in the winter season, O_3/BAC processes have the advantage of removal of organic substance when it is compared to pre -chlorination followed by O_3/GAC processes. Pre-chlorination followed by O_3/GAC processes were required to remove NH_3-N in the winter season because the removal of NH_3-N was almost ineffective by O_3/BAC process.

1962년 설립된 두산중공업은 발전설비 전문업체로써 국내 최대용량의 드럼형 유연탄 발전소인 삼천포화력 발전소를 턴키 방식으로 제작, 설치한 데 이어 한국 표준형 화력발전소인 500㎿ 급 태안화력발전소등을 건설한 바 있으며, 현재는 한 단계 높아진 800㎿ 급 영흥 1, 2 호기 프로젝트를 담당하고 있다. 또한 국내외 복합화력발전소에 배열회수 보일러(Heat Recovery Steam Generator, HRSG)등 주요설비를 공급하고 있으며, 지금까지 서인천, 평택, 한림 등 국내 복합발전소뿐 아니라, 말레이지아 팡리마, 미국 체할리스, 멕시코 알타미라, 브라질 페르남부코 등 해외 시장에서 Major Player 로 역할을 수행하고 있다. 본 보고서는 두산중공업 배열회수보일러 개발 과정과 특성에 관하여 논의코자 한다.

철도기술 환경변화에 대응한 철도기술개발과 240 조원 이상의 철도시장 해외진출 경쟁력 확보를 위해 세계 각국의 철도연구기관 및 운영기관 등에서 수행하였거나 계획하고 있는 기술개발 현황과 미래기술 등의 연구 아이템을 조사/분석하였다. 해외 철도기술분석대상은 37 개기관으로 해외철도기관의 발전계획, 연차보고서, 연구보고서 등의 기술자료를 통해서 연구개발 테마와 트렌드를 조사 분석한 것이다. I have searched and analyzed of development of railway technology which is corresponding to environmental change of railway technology, and also have searched and analyzed of development status and future technology research items which is already carried out or planning technical developments for setting aside competitiveness of more than 240 trillion won’s overseas railway market. I have investigated and analyzed that research and development themes and trends according to 37 overseas railway organizations’ technical articles such as development plans, annual reports, research reports, etc.
