        Hyaluronan이 첨가된 실리콘하이드로겔 콘택트렌즈의 단백질 흡착 특성

        목적: 새로운 실리콘 모노머를 사용하여 제조한 실리콘하이드로겔 콘택트렌즈와 2종류의 시판용 렌즈에 hyaluronan을 첨가한 다음 lysozyme, albumin, globulin 3종류 단백질에 대한 흡착량의 변화를 살펴보고자 한다. 방법: 실험실에서 제조한 렌즈는 HEMA(2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate, 96%, Junsei)와 TRIM (3-(trimethoxysilyl)propyl methacrylate, 98%, Aldrich) 등의 모노머를 사용하여 cast mould 방법으로 제조하였다. HA(Hyaluronic acid, LifeCore Biomedical) 첨가는 HA 에탄올 용액과 EDC (1-(3-(Dimethylamino)propyl)-3-ethylcarbodiimide methiodide, Aldrich) 용액을 사용하였다. HA의 첨가 전 후 렌즈의 함수율, 광 투과율 등의 물리적 특성 변화와 lysozyme, albumin, globulin이 포함된 인공눈물을 제조하여 48시간 동안 흡착량 변화를 살펴보았다. 각각의 단백질은 HPLC로 정량하였다. 결과: HA가 첨가된 렌즈의 함수율은 첨가 전의 값에 비해 약 10% 증가하였으며, 광 투과율은 큰 변화가 없었다. HA를 첨가한 렌즈에서 시간에 따른 HA의 용출량은 48시간 동안 지수함수 형태로 증가하였다. HA가 첨가되지 않은 렌즈에 비해 HA를 첨가한 모든 렌즈에서 단백질 흡착량이 감소하였으며, 흡착시간이 경과함에 따라 그 감소효과가 크게 줄었다. 단백질의 종류에 따른 흡착량은 lysozyme>globulin>albumin의 순으로 감소하였으며, SHL 렌즈에서 최대 80% 이상 감소하였다. 결 론: Hyaluronan이 첨가된 모든 실리콘하이드로겔 콘택트렌즈에서 단백질 흡착량이 감소하였다. 실리콘하이드로겔 렌즈에 3종류 단백질의 흡착 특성은 렌즈 표면의 친수성에 가장 크게 영향을 받음을 확인할 수 있었으며, 수소결합이 가능한 hyaluronan의 첨가로 인해 렌즈의 친수성을 증가시키고 이로 인해 단백질의 구조적 변성을 방지하여 단백질 흡착을 억제하는 것으로 생각된다. Purpose: The purpose of this research is to examine the effects of hyaluronan addition on the adsorption properties of three kinds of proteins(lysozyme, albumin, globulin) at the three kinds of silicone hydrogel lenses which one is manufactured by new silicone monomer in the laboratory and the other two are commercial silicone hydrogel lenses. Methods: The contact lens was fabricated by HEMA(2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate, 96%, Junsei) and TRIM(3-(trimethoxysilyl)propyl methacrylate, 98%, Aldrich) using the cast mold method. To add the HA(Hyaluronic acid, LifeCore Biomedical) to the lens, each lens was placed in the HA ethanol solution and EDC(1-(3-(Dimethylamino) propyl)-3-ethyl carbodiimide methiodide, Aldrich) solution for 24h. Physical properties such as water contents and optical transmittance on the HA-added lens were examined. To measure the variation of the amounts of protein adsorbed on the each lenses for 48 hours, we prepared the artificial tears containing lysozyme, albumin, globulin and used it for each protein adsorption. HPLC was used to analyze the amount of the protein adsorption. Result: The water content of the contact lens added with HA increased about 10% compared to the silicone contact lens used as the control, and no big changes was observed in the light transmittance. The amount of HA released from the HA-added lens was increased as an exponentially for 48 hours. The amount of protein adsorption was decreased at all HA-added lenses, and the reduction rate was greatly decreased with adsorption time. The amount of protein adsorption was decreased in order of lysozyme>globulin>albumin, and maximum decrease in the protein adsorption was observed at the SHL lens which was more than 80% reduction. Conclusion: The amount of protein adsorption was decreased at all silicone hydrogel contact lens added with HA. It was confirmed that the adsorption property of the three kinds of the protein on the silicone hydrogel contact lens was greatly affected by the hydrophilic of the lens surface. Addition of hyaluronan which is able to produce hydrogen bonding increases the hydrophilic property of the lens, and prevents the structural denaturalization of the proteins, resulting in reduction of protein adsorption.

      • 발달장애학생의 빛 개념 학습을 위한 놀이체험 과학학습모형

        이 연구에서는 발달장애학생의 효과적인 과학 학습을 위한 놀이체험 과학학습모형을 제안하고 이를 적용하여 발달장애학생의 빛 개념 학습을 위한 놀이체험 과학학습자료 개발 사례를 소개하였다. 이를 위하여 주의력, 관련성, 자신감, 만족감 등의 요소로 구성된 Keller의 학습동기이론을 기초로 발달장애학생의 사회적응행동을 강조하여 적응 요소를 추가한 수정된 학습동기이론을 이론적 근거로 제안하였으며, 각각의 이론 요소에 대응하여 상황제시, 놀이시범, 놀이체험, 내용학습, 강화 등 5단계로 구성된 놀이체험 과학학습모형을 제안하였다. 또한 제안한 놀이체험 과학학습모형을 특수학교 기본교육과정의 빛 단원 학습에 적용하여 총 5종의 놀이체험 과학학습자료를 개발하고 이를 위한 개발 준거와 개발 사례를 소개하였다. In this study the authors suggested ‘game-experienced science learning model’ as an effective science learning strategy for the developmental disabled students, and introduced a case of application of this model in learning of light concept. For this a learning motive theory emphasizing on social adjustment in learning was suggested, which is modified from Keller's model and consisted of 5 factors like attention, relevance, confidence, accommodation, and satisfaction. Based on this learning theory and factors the authors suggested a ‘game-experienced science learning model’ with 5 sequential learning stages like introduction, demonstration, play, communication, and reinforcement. And also the authors developed a series of learning materials of light concept, and introduced criteria of development and contents of developed materials.

        Transformation of Land Readjustment in Korea: A Legal Analysis on the Exchange of Rights and Collective Replotting

        Land Readjustment (LR), also known as land pooling or land consolidation, has been employed as a method of urban planning and development in numerous nations for nearly a century. Due to the fact that LR does not involve expropriation, it can be a feasible alternative for developing and renewing urban space even in highly urbanized countries. However, LR cannot function as an effective policy tool for urban renewal or high-density development if it stays limited to the mass production of tiny parcels. Based on the experiences of several nations, it has been noted that conventional LR is disadvantageous for built-up areas, and in some nations it has resulted in replotted land being left underdeveloped and vacant for an extended period. This paper investigates and analyzes the application of LR in Korea as a technique for overcoming these constraints. Reconstruction and redevelopment projects that transform LR by exchanging building to building have been actively implemented in densely populated metropolitan areas in Korea. In addition, traditional LR is being actively altered and used to produce large sites and promote apartment complex construction. This paper aims to provide Korea’s trends for comparative research on LR by analyzing the characters and prerequisites that have made this transformation possible.

        누리장나무의 진통 효과

        Clerodendrum trichotomum has been widely used as a traditional medicine for the treatment of numerous diseases, including pain management. However, there have been extremely limited pharmacological and phytochemical studies on Clerodendrum trichotomum up to now. In this study, we investigated the effects of the methanolic extract of Clerodendrum trichotomum (MCT) on nociceptive pain in mice. Our finding demonstrate that MCT treatment significantly extended the latency time in both the tail-immersion test and hot-plate test. Additionally, MCT treatment reduced acetic acid-induced writhing motions. These results suggest that MCT possesses strong anti-nociceptive activities against thermal and chemical nociception. In the formalin test, mice fed with MCT exhibited reduced licking time during both the early and late phases, thereby confirming the therapeutic potential of MCT in central and peripheral nociception. Furthermore, in combination tests using naloxone, the MCT-mediated anti-nociception was slightly reduced, indicating that MCT might act as a partial opioid receptor agonist. Based on these results, MCT may be a valuable candidate for the development of anti-nociceptive agents.

        골 재생을 위한 Acrylic Acid와 Boron Nitirde가 코팅된나노지형학 지지체 제조

        In recent years, there has been increasing interest in the development of biomimetic scaffolds that mimic the native environment and structure of specific tissues for tissue engineering applications. In this study, we fabricated a scaffold mimicking the longitudinally aligned collagen bundles constituting bone tissue using poly(lactic-co-glycolic acid) nanopatterned substrate that was prepared via solvent-assisted drop casting and capillary force lithography. Furthermore, to enhance interactions between biological interfaces and our substrate, we modified surface of nanopatterned substrate that was grafted acrylic acid using gamma-irradiation. Also, we coated electrically conductive material, boron nitride through Van der Waals force with grafted acrylic acid (referred to P-BN-Np). We confirmed through SEM that surface of P-BN-NP was not damaged during surface modification process. P-BN-Np showed much higher mineral depositions compared to other group in in vitro osteogenic differentiation tests. For proving regenerative capacity of P-BN-Np about bone regeneration, we performed mouse calvarial defect model. After 8 weeks, P-BN-Np presented significantly higher new bone formation area, volume and density compared to other group through micro-CT, histological and immunohistological analyses. Therefore, P-BN-Np, developed in this study, holds promise as a biomimetic scaffold for tissue engineering, offering a versatile platform for regenerating various tissues.

        용종성종괴모양을 보인 십이지장 팽대부의 협착성 유두염 1예

        $quot;Stenosing papillitis$quot; is a descriptive term for an anatomic deformity of the Ampulla of Vater due to chronic inflammation and fibrosis, which is characterized by narrowing of the lower end of the bile and pancreatic duct, and by clinical symptoms resembling pancreticobiliary disease. Duodenoscopic finding of stenosing papillitis usually shows edema, erythema, and laceration on Ampulla of Vater, but endoscopic finding such as polypoid mass is rare. We recently experienced one case of polypoid stenosing papillitis and report with a review of relevant literatures A 54-year-old man was admitted to our hospital because of chronic right upper abdominal pain for 2 years. Duodenoscopy revealed a polypoid mass with erythemaous color change on Ampulla of Vater, which was endoscopically resected by using a polypectomy snare, and pathologic examination showed chronic inflammation and fibrosis.
