        Propofol-Succinylcholine과 Thiopentone-Succinylcholine이 혈청 Potassium에 미치는 영향의 비교

        Background : The aim of this study was to compare the effect of propofol with succinylcholine and thiopentone with succinylcholine on serum potassium concentration during induction of general anesthesia. Methods : Forty patients scheduled for elective surgery were allocated at random into two groups, one to receive propofol with succinylcholine or other to receive thiopentone with succinylcholine. We measured serum potassium concentration at preinjection and at 1, 5 and 10 minutes after injection of propofol with succinylcholine or thiopentone with succinylcholine respectively. Results : There was significant increase in the serum potassium concentrations at 1, 5 and 10 minutes after injection of propofol-succinylcholine and thiopentone-succinylcholine compared with those before injection in two groups. No significant difference in serum potassium concentrations was observed between the two groups. Conclusions : The changes in serum potassium due to injection of propofol and succinycholine were very similar to those found during injection of anesthesia with thiopentone and succinylcholine. It was reassuring that such small changes of serum potassium occur when propofol-succinycholine and thiopentone-succinylcholine were used and that these changes within normal ranges were unlikely to be of clinical significance.         예쁜꼬마선충을 이용한 레오누린과 그 합성 분절 유도체의 수명연장 효과 연구

        The current study was conducted to evaluate the lifespan extension effects of leonurine and its synthetic fragmental analogs using Caenohabditis elegans model system. Leonurine significantly prolonged the lifespan of C. elegans in a dose-dependent manner. To dissect the structure-activity relationship between leonurine and lifespan extension activity, seven novel fragmental analogs were synthesized and evaluated. Our study revealed that benzoate part of leonurine is responsible for its lifespan extension property rather than quanidine moiety.

        예쁜꼬마선충 파킨슨병 모델에서 구룡목 메탄올 추출물의 신경보호 효과

        Parkinson’s disease (PD), the second most prevalent neurodegenerative disease after Alzheimer's, is marked by progressive loss of dopaminergic (DA) neurons in the substantia nigra. Although drugs like levodopa, selegiline, and amantadine offer symptomatic relief, they fail to address the underlying cause of PD. In this study, we explored the neuroprotective potential of Prunus padus methanolic extract (PPE) using the Caenorhabditis elegans model system. Our results demonstrate that PPE treatment significantly mitigated MPP+-induced morphological defects in DA neurons. Similarly, PPE-fed mutant worms overexpressing tyrosine hydroxylase showed reduced damage to DA neurons. In addition, the food-sensing ability of worms was ameliorated by PPE supplementation under MPP+ exposure conditions, suggesting its potential for the functional restoration of DA neurons. PPE also has the ability to down-regulate the formation of α-synuclein oligomers and fibrils in mutant worms expressing human α-synuclein. Moreover, under conditions of tunicamycin-induced endoplasmic reticulum stress, PPE treatment attenuated hsp-4 expression, indicating its role in preserving protein homeostasis. Overall, our findings suggest that P. padus has strong neuroprotective properties and may be a promising drug candidate for PD therapy.

        Anti-metastatic Properties of the Leaves of Eriobotrya japonica

        The leaves of Eriobotrya japonica Lindl. have been widely used as a traditional medicine for the treatment of many diseases including gastroenteric disorders, diabetes mellitus, chronic bronchitis and asthma. In the present study, the anti-metastatic action of the EtOAc fraction of the leaves of E. japonica (LEJ) was investigated. LEJ showed potent inhibitory effects on MMP-2 and MMP-9 activities and expressions via down-regulation of NF-κB translocation to the nucleus in B16F10 cells. In addition, the cell migration and invasion were down-regulated by LEJ. LEJ also significantly suppressed lung metastasis in vivo. Moreover, we isolated the compounds ursolic acid and 2α-hydroxyursolic acid from LEJ and both compounds also significantly suppressed MMP-2 and MMP-9 activities, indicating that they are the active components of LEJ. The present results demonstrate that LEJ may be used as valuable antimetastatic agent for the treatment of cancer metastasis.

        곤달비 메탄올 추출물의 진통 효과

        Ligularia stenocephala has been widely used as a traditional medicine for the treatment of lots of diseases such as asthma, arthritis, and jaundice. In this study, we evaluated the anti-nocicepitve activities of methanolic extract of L. stenocephala (MLS) using various pain models including thermal nociception as well as chemical nociception methods. MLS showed significant increase in latency time in the tail immersion test and hot-plate test. In addition, the number of acetic acidinduced abdominal constrictions was decreased by MLS. MLS also attenuated paw licking time in the formalin test. The combination test using naloxone revealed that the anti-nociceptive properties of MLS was not associated with opioid receptor activation. The present results demonstrate that MLS may possibly used as valuable analgesic agent for the treatment of nociceptive pain.

        Anti-inflammatory Effect of MeOH Extracts of the Stem of Polygonum multiflorum in LPS-stimulated Mouse Peritoneal Macrophages

        Polygoni multiflori Ramulus (PM), the stem of Polygonum multiflorum Thunb. has been widely usedas a traditional medicine for the treatment of lots of diseases. In macrophages, nitric oxide is released as aninflammatory mediator and has been proposed to be an important modulator of many pathophysiologicalconditions in inflammation. In the present study, it was investigated that the inhibitory effects on NO and proinflammatorycytokines such as tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-α), interleukin-6 (IL-6) and the mechanism ofdown-regulation of immune response by 85% methanol extracts of PM in mouse (C57BL/6) peritonealmacrophages. Extracts of PM (0.1, 1 mg/ml) suppressed NO production and showed inhibition of proinflammatorycytokines like TNF-α, IL-6 and it attenuated iNOS and COX-2 expression via down-regulation ofNF-κB activation. The present results indicate that the 85% methanol extracts of PM has an inhibitory effect onthe production of NO through down-regulation of iNOS expression in LPS stimulated mouse peritonealmacrophages and therefore may be beneficial in diseases which related to macrophage-mediated inflammatorydisorders.

        알코올중독 가정 자녀가 인지한 가족 위험요인이 대학생활 적응에 미치는 영향 : 종교적 영성과 실존적 영성의 조절효과

        The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationships between family risk factors and adaptation to university focused on exploring the moderating effect of religious spirituality and existential spirituality among university students in Daegu and kyungbuk area. The researcher administered questionnaire survey to 1,000 students and 316 respondents from the alcoholic family were selected and analyzed by using SPSS 20.0 program. The major findings of this study are as follows: First, family risk factors, such as children’s perception of inter-parental conflict, attachment to parent and siblings, and abuse in childfood have negative effect on adaptation to university with demographic variables controlled. Second, spirituality has moderating effect on the influence of the family risk factors on adaptation to college, while religious spirituality has moderating effect on the influence of abuse in childfood but existential spirituality has moderating effect on the influence of children’s perception of inter-parental conflict, attachment to parent, and abuse in childfood. Based on study results, intervention strategies and implications for future research are suggested to enhance adaptation among students from the alcoholic family. 본 연구의 목적은 대학생의 가족 위험요인과 대학생활 적응의 관계를 파악하고 종교적 영성과 실존적 영성이 이들 관계에 조절효과가 있는가를 탐색하는 것이다. 대구, 경북지역 4년제 대학에 재학 중인 학생 1000명을 대상으로 설문조사를 수행하였으며, 이중 알코올중독 가정의 자녀로 분류되는 316명의 자료를 선별하여 SPSS 20.0 통계프로그램을 이용하여 분석하였다. 주요한 연구결과로는 첫째, 가족 위험요인 중 자녀가 인지한 부부갈등, 부모자녀 애착, 학대경험은 대학생활 적응에 부정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 가족 위험요인이 대학생활 적응에 미치는 영향을 조절하는 영성의 역할에는 차이가 나타났다. 즉 종교적 영성과 실존적 영성은 모두가 학대경험이 대학생활 적응에 미치는 영향에 조절효과가 있는 것으로 나타났지만, 부부갈등과 부모자녀 애착이 대학생활 적응에 미치는 영향에서는 실존적 영성만이 조절효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과를 토대로 연구의 한계, 후속연구를 위한 제언, 실천적 함의를 제시하였다.

        초등학생의 부정적 스마트폰 사용행태가 건강에 미치는 영향: 부모양육태도의 조절효과를 중심으로

        본 연구의 목적은 초등학생의 부정적 스마트폰 사용행태와 부모의 양육태도가 아동·청소년의 건강에 미치는 영향을 탐색하고, 이를 바탕으로 부모양육태도가 부정적 스마트폰 사용이 건강에 미치는 영향을 조절(완화)하는지 분석하는 것이다. 이를 위해 경북지역의 초등학생 761명을 대상으로 구조화된 설문지를 통해 자료를 수집하고, SPSS 20.0 통계프로그램을 이용하여 다중회귀분석(Hierarchical Multiple Regression)하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 스마트폰의 부정적 사용행태는 아동·청소년의 신체적, 정신적, 사회적 건강에 부정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 부모의 양육태도가 수용-자율통제적일수록 아동·청소년의 신체적, 정신적, 사회적 건강에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 부모의 수용-자율통제적 양육태도는 부정적 스마트폰 사용이 아동·청소년의 신체적, 사회적 건강에 미치는 영향을 완화하는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구 결과는 아동·청소년의 건강을 위해 올바른 스마트폰 사용 교육과 더불어 부모의 올바른 양육태도의 필요성을 시사한다. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of the negative smartphone usage of elementary school students and parenting attitudes on the health of children and adolescents and based on this, analyze whether parenting attitudes moderate the effects of the negative smartphone use on health.For this, a structured questionnaire was conducted on 761 elementary students in Gyeongbuk province for the collection of data, and Hierarchical Multiple Regression was performed by using SPSS 20.0 statistical program. As a result, first the negative usage of the smartphone was found to give negative effects to the physical, mental, and social health of children and adolescents. Second, as the parenting attitude is more accepting and self-regulating, significant effects on the physical, mental, and social health of children and adolescent are more increased. Third, the accepting and self-regulating parenting attitude was found to relieve the effects of the negative smartphone usage on the physical and social health of children and adolescents.This result suggests the necessity of right parenting attitudes along with education on right smartphone usage for the health of children and adolescents.

      • 딥 러닝 기반 자동 변조 식별을 위한 연구

        딥러닝 기반 AMC(automatic modulation classification)는 채널 환경에 따라서 성능이 열화되는 문제점을 가지고 있다. 기존의 AMC 기법들은 오프셋이 존재하지 않는 환경에서 실험한 결과들이다. 본 논문에서는 오프셋이 존재하는 경우 AMC에 적합한 입력 데이터를 찾기 위하여 IQ(inphase and quadrature) 신호와 스펙트로그램을 입력으로 하여 CNN(convolutional neural network) 기반의 변조 분류 성능을 비교하였다.
