In hot forging analysis, the interfacial heat transfer coefficient (IHTC) is a very important factor defining the heat flow between the die and the material. In particular, in the hot forging analysis of aluminum 6xxx series alloy, which are used in automobile parts, differences in load and microstructure occur due to changes in surface temperature according to the IHTC. This IHTC is not a constant value but changes depends on pressure. This study derived the IHTC under low load using aluminum 6082 alloy. An experiment was performed by fabricating a compression die, and a heat transfer analysis was performed based on the experimental data. The heat transfer analysis used DEFORM-2D, a commercial finite element analysis program. To derive the IHTC, heat transfer analysis was performed for the IHTC in the range of 10 to 50 kW/m²℃ at intervals of 10kW/m²℃. The heat transfer analysis results according to the IHTC and the actual experimental values were compared to derive the IHTC of the aluminum 6082 alloy under low load

In order to reduce the weight of automobile parts, automobile parts using aluminum alloy are being developed. Aluminum alloy for automobile parts is mainly made of Al6xxx (Al-Mg-Si) type alloy, which is excellent in hot forming property, and it can increase mechanical properties by the use of heat treatment. In this study, hot forming was performed using Al6082. Before the hot forming, the forming analysis was performed using the DEFORM-3D finite element analysis program in this case. For the forming analysis, the heat transfer coefficient was derived from the experiment, and the forming analysis was performed by applying it. At the forging analysis, the temperature of Al6082 material was set to 813K and that of the mold was set to room temperature. After the forging analysis, the experiment was performed, and the forging analysis and the experimental results were compared.

A 5-year-old, male Yorkshire terrier dog was presented with progressive seizure and anorexia. Definitive diagnosis of necrotizing meningoencephalitis (NME) was made based on characteristic clinical features, brain lesion with MRI, and histopathologic examination. The dog was treated with prednisolone for 20 days, firstly. Prednisolone and mycophenolate mofetil (MMF) were then administered for 40 days following the initial therapy. However, the clinical signs were not improved and seizure frequency was increased. This patient survived around 2 months after diagnosis. This case report described the clinical findings, imaging characteristics and pathologic features of NME in a Yorkshire terrier with trial treatment using MMF
Forging Test of Mg-Sn-Al-Zn Series Alloy under Warm Forming Conditions

Magnesium alloys, which have low specific gravities and energy consumption, as needed in recycling, are increasingly drawingattention in the automobile industry. The yield and tensile strengths of existing commercial magnesium alloys do not satisfy therequirements of automobile parts. Recently, high-strength magnesium alloys containing Sn have been developed and applied toautomobile parts. In this study, a forgeability test was carried out using Sn-containing magnesium alloys of the Mg-Sn-Al-Zn series,through forward/backward extrusions, which have deformation modes similar to actual automobile parts. The test was conducted atforging temperatures of 523 K and 723 K, and strain rate of 10/s. The forgeability analysis measured the maximum height, hardness,and microstructure of the extruded part. The maximum height of the part was higher at the forging temperature of 723 K than at 523K; however, the part’s hardness was higher at 523 K than at 723 K. EBSD was used to analyze the microstructure of the extruded part.

This study aims to suggest a way for temple food to take a differentiated position in the foodservice industry along with providing useful data for efficient management of temple food. To do this, it examines what influence the characteristics of temple food has on satisfaction with the food and verifies how the types of religion adjust the relationships between the characteristics and the satisfaction. The consumers who frequent temple food restaurants in Seoul and Gyeonggi areas were selected as the sample for this study, and a survey was conducted to those over the age of 20 via self-administered questionnaire from May 1st to June 30th, 2012. A total of 500 copies were distributed and 476 copies were selected as suitable from 488 copies collected for reliability and factor analyses using SPSS 18.0. The proposed research hypotheses were verified with a regression analysis and a multiple regression analysis. The results of this study are as follows. First, the characteristics of temple food have a positive influence on satisfaction with the food. Their subordinate factors such as situation, function, and consistency have positive(+) effects on the satisfaction. Next, it shows that religion does not play a regulatory role in the relationships between the characteristics of temple food and satisfaction with the food.
