CFT structure is widely used to structures that demand significant load carrying capacity and ductile deformation, mainly columns subjected to axial force. Recently, CFT structure has been applied to bridge structure as new composite structure because of improvements in ductile deformation, stiffness and internal force due to the confinement effect between steel and concrete. This paper introduces CFTA girder bridge combined with existing CFT structure, its arch shape and external tendons. In addition, analytical model is developed and constructional stage analysis is carried out to investigate the structural behavior of CFTA girder bridge.
