With an increased use of the press-through package (PTP) tablet, there has also been an increase in mis-swallowing cases, especially in elderly patients. We report a rare case of PTP-induced small bowel perforation and fistula formation with adjacent small bowel in a healthy elderly patient, who experienced persistent abdominal pain of unknown cause. A 62-year-old healthy man was admitted to our hospital with left abdominal pain that started one month ago. Neither abdominal tenderness nor rebound tenderness was present on physical examination. His vital signs and all other test results were within normal limits. However, a 2.5 cm curved radiopaque material within his thickened small intestine was incidentally detected on an abdominal computed tomography. He underwent laparoscopic small bowel resection, which revealed foreign body in the distal small intestine. Edema, perforation, and adhesions with the surrounding tissues were also noticed in the distal small intestine. Foreign body was turned out to be PTP, and this was considered to be responsible for the small bowel perforation and fistula formation. Precautions regarding PTP usage are necessary to prevent inadvertent PTP ingestion and its related complications, such as perforation, especially in the elderly population. In the near future, If demand and interests of Value-Added Service will be increased, this will be a electrical safety Value-Added Service as an important role in the blind soot of country electricity disaster.
자동차용 서스펜션 섬유강화 복합재 코일 스프링의 압축특성 및 손상평가

본 연구에서는 브레이딩 공법으로 자동차용 섬유강화 복합재 코일 스프링을 제작했으며, 안전성 확인을 위해 압축시험 후 손상평가를 진행하였다. 하중-변위 거동의 분석을 통해 스프링의 강성이 규격에 부합하는지 평가했다. 또한 복합재료의 기계적 특성에 대한 기준을 명확하게 파악하기 위해 기공의 분포 및 함침율을 분석하였다. 시험이 완료된 스프링은 육안검사를 진행하여 손상부를 확인했으며, SEM을 이용하여 스프링의 균열 및 파손 인접부에서 채취한 횡단면 시료의 균열 발생 및 진전부 관찰을 통해 파괴모드를 분석하였다. In this study, fiber-reinforced composite coil springs for automobiles were manufactured using the braiding method, and mechanical tests and damage evaluation were performed to confirm their safety. Through the analysis of the load-displacement behavior, the stiffness of the springs was evaluated to meet the specifications. In addition, the distribution of voids and the impregnation rate on the spring wire section were analyzed to clearly understand the criteria for the mechanical properties of the composite material. Moreover, the tested springs were visually inspected to confirm the damaged parts, and the failure mode was analyzed by observing crack initiation and propagation behavior of cross-sectional samples taken from the crack and failure adjacent areas of springs using SEM.
유치원과 초ㆍ중등학교 교과서 내 산림 교육 현황 및 개선 방안

As an effort to realize the results of last two years of study, this study had three distinguished purposes: 1) confirming whether some requests for corrections had been accepted or not 2) making a list of possible errors found in newly written textbooks and asking to fix them, and 3) classifying forest related contents identified in the textbooks according to the 150 topics included in information material, so called Forest IQ 200. Among 94 errors associated trees, forest or forest education, only thirteen of them were found to be fixed according to the request made in previous study of 2008. Especially, most of the fixed errors were identified to be in natural and social science subject textbooks and nothing was found in art and language areas. Total of 1,320 forest related items were found in the textbooks at the level of kindergarten to 10th grade(freshman in highschool). Korean student was expect to have a chance to learn forest related items 1.64 times a week for 10 years(First to 10th grade). Analyzing 1,109 contents in terms of four topic areas of forest education, the forest culture area was found to have most content of 348 including painting and recreation. Some suggestions were made to make school forest education better, and publishing the forest textbook for elementary schools was one of them.
