가상실재적 서사공간의 기획과 메타제시

서사는 시간의 전개에 따라 이루어진 사건을 재구성하여 제시하는 데서 빚어진다. 사건 시간과 서술 시간의 불일치(anachronies)에서 비롯된 회상과 예시라는 변별적 서사 양상을 ‘제시(lepsis)’의 두 국면에 대응시켜 사후제시(analepsis)와 사전제시(prolepsis)를 상정한 주네트의 견해는 탁견이다. 사건의 시간을 거슬러 재구하여 제시하는 사후제시가 사건의 국면을 이미 일어난 사실로 전제하고서 서술하는 데 비해, 전개될 사건을 미리 예시(豫示)하여 이야기의 전개를 가늠하는 단서로서 미리 제시하는 사전제시는 사건의 허구적 국면을 서술하는 데 유효하다. 그런데 사건의 전개에 직접 관여되지 않은 서술이 개입하는 양상의 경우, 기정사실로 전제된 이야기를 기술하는 데 소용되는 것도 아니며 가상의 이야기를 기술하는 수를 적용하는 것도 아닌 제시 방식이 새로운 술어에 대응된다. 사건 전개에 관여되지 않으면서도 이야기의 층에 관여되어 서사를 이어가게 하는 서사 제시의 국면을 논급하는 데 쓰일 ‘메타제시(metalepsis)’는 사실과 허구를 동시에 매개하거나 사실이나 허구 어느 쪽으로도 환원되지 않는 서술의 양태에 대응된다. 이는 가상이나 실재 어느 편으로 환원될 수 없는, 현실 세계와 허구 세계의 임계에 기획되는 가상실재적 서사공간의 의미망을 해석하는 데 유용한 방법적 술어이다. 본고는 메타제시와 가상실재적 서사공간의 기획의 역학에 대한 이론적 단서를 시론하는 것으로, 이승우의 소설 『끝없이 두 갈래로 갈라지는 길』을 해석한 결과를 통해 이론의 가능성을 타진하고 논의의 구체적 방향을 예시한다.

Digital could be undertood a constitutional notion not as a substantial one. So it is necessary to treat its features for reasonable arguments. One can note the core digital features: interactivity, hypertextuality and multi-media. Not all digital devices realize the digital features, or non-digital media might show digital-like features close to interactivity and hypertextuality. Some notions realtive to the narrative space would be the digital features of narrative. Spatial form in written narrative is a crucial phase of digital narrativities, and virtual reality simulated in recent fantastic novels is a eminent corresponding digital experence. I will argue on the digital features of narrative relative to the above two phases of narrative space, and expand the arguemental horizon of digital narratives.

문화 공간의 서사 공간 변환 공정 -『혼불』의 인지 공정을 단서로 한 시론-

The narrative impulse of life is active in the activation of human spatial projection processing. People take good care of their lives to be good at decorating and actively communicating. The standard processing of narrative performance is a mechanism that activates communication at the cultural level, which calculates the optimal cognitive validity when it is hired. The hermeneutic circlular circuits between narrative, culture, and space are base to prove the relationship between the people's desires for the spatial projections and the processings that leads to the cognitive performance of the spatial projection. Honbul shows these processings well. The cultural value of the Honbul is optimized and calculated by creating emergent structures in the transformation processing of the cultural space to the narrative space and creating new phases of the human mind space.

감성의 서사 공정과 문화적 인지 도식

Emotion is not a fixed or universal entity, but a constitutive notion that varies according to the cultural parameters. Therefore, emotional factors are the key to understanding the mechanism and process involved in its constitution and performance. Especially in the case of narrative emotional processing that requires an understanding of the phases in which discourse of emotion composed in the process of discourse is communicated. Understanding the cognitive schema of the emotional factor doubled in the interline between the nonverbal utterances or in the inside of the untterences is more important than the one-dimensional factor of the emotions revealed on the surface of the utterance. In addition to the image schema applied to perceive the emotions of the surface layer, a motor-dynamic schema that promotes the progress of narrative, and an interpretation of the transition pattern of the phase schema involved in the division and diffusion of emotion, all those are cognitive cogs of emotional narrative processing. Interpretation of the cultural cognitive schema in these processes is an important clue. It is the essence of this article to take a look at the series of methodical concepts in the context of such a wide range of interpretation. 감성은 고정적이거나 보편적인 실체가 아니며 문화적 조건에 따라 변이되는 구성적 양태다. 따라서 감성은 그 구성과 작용에 관여된 기제와 공정에 대한 이해가 관건이다. 담론의 진전 과정에서 구성되는 감성의 언설이 소통되는 국면에 대한 이해가 요구되는 서사적 감성 공정의 경우에 특히 그러하다. 발화 표층에 드러난 감성의 일차원적 요소보다 발화 이면에 배이거나 발화되지 않은 행간에 배인 감성 인자에 대한 인지 도식의 이해가 관건이다. 표층의 감성을 인지하는 데 적용되는 이미지 도식은 물론 서사의 진전을 추진하는 동역학 도식, 감성의 분할과 확산에 관여된 위상 도식의 전이 양상에 대해 해석하는 것이 감성의 서사 공정에 대한 논의의 골자를 이룬다. 이러한 공정에 작용하는 문화적 인지 도식에 대한 해석은 중요한 단서이다. 이러한 해석의 여지가 큰 『혼불』을 사례로 방법적 개념의 계열을 타진하는 것이 이 글의 요체다.

Literature is an aspect of linguistic performance. Language obtains an opportunity for progress by realizing the effects of ordinary linguistic performances and other communications through literary performances. But there is no specialized language that is different from ordinary language and specialized in the area unique to literature. Therefore, a conceptual schema for the legitimacy of literature that proves the aesthetic features that well embody the qualities of so-called literary language is nonsense. The marked signs defined by the conceptual schema of negative terms added to literature, such as local literature or popular literature, have no substance. In this context, it is essential to diagnose whether the conceptual schema derived from the ideology of the Center involved in literature is reasonable, and to reveal and disrupt the operation of the unjust ideology. This article corresponds to an essay that evokes this process.

서사 시점의 역학과 공간 형식

The perspective or point of view is an index of relativity. A phenomenon could be recognized and represented as various shapes or figures from perspectives. Perspective is the dynamic mechanism of recognition and representation, and the narrative perspective is as well. Narrative perspective is the clue device of narrative dynamics that creates various narrative effects and communicative discourses. From implied author to reader the narrative agents perform dynamic roles and constitute the narrative worlds with relativity. The hermeneutic gap would be created in the constitutional process and communication of fictional narrative. So called spatial form of narrative would be constituted in the end. Narrative perspective is the key device of the dynamics in fictional spaces. This perspective dynamics is the standpoint of positive understanding of various recent Korean novels. In this essay I interpret the dynamic spatial mechanisms of perspective in Kim, Jong-gwang’s Nakseo-munhanksa(i.e. Graffiti-literary history) as a clue sample text.

공간의 인문적 의미망 ―실존적 해석학을 단서로 한 시론

Human beings are living in the world which would be conditioned by space. Dasein, the main theme and terminology suggested by Martin Heidegger, is a key notion in existential hermeneutics that proposes the constitutive and spatial features of existence in the world. Dasein as In-der-Welt-Sein represents the spatiality of beings at hand, so raises the arguments on the living space that corresponds to the cultural space. The cultural space does not directly refer to the places in the actual world. One would be convenient in places which are settled by territories, but place could also function as a suppressive mechanism and block the existential projection for the expansion of the world-horizon. Dasein makes every effort to open the existential horizon and create the spacious space contrary to the closed place relative to daily routine. The deconstruction of the linear time is the pivot strategy of the spatial projection and the significant feature of the exile existence. So-called the liminal and transitional spaces laid beyond the actual places show remarkable exile representations found in human cultural spaces.

『혼불』의 저자성과 소통의 문화적 역학

의미가 고정된 실체라면 모를까 소통을 전제로 하는 서사가 관건인 한,저자성은 해석 가능성이 열린 텍스트 에서 표현 을 매개하는 작가 의 한 속성에 불과하다. 표현의 가능성 또한 다양한 매체를 통해 재 구성될 여지에 열린 터라면,저 자성은 문화적 차원에 있어야 할 서사 의 가치를 희석할 요인으로 작용할 공산이 크다. 다양한 이야깃거리를 취택하여 재구성하는 표현 과정 자체만 하더라도 원조(original)를 따지기 힘든 만큼,서사에서 저자 성이 도드라져서는 곤란하다. 이야기는 문화적 축적의 산물로서 구성체이기 때문에 그러하다. 이처럼 서사를 문화적 담론의 한 양태로 전제하는 관점은 서사 텍스트를 이해할 때 매우 유연한 방법론적 단서를 제공한다. 문화지(ethnography)적 규모를 자랑하는 『혼불』을 논급할 때라면 더욱 그러하다.
