효율적인 내용 기반 이미지 검색을 위한 근사 Earth Mover's Distance

정확한 내용 기반 이미지 검색을 위하여 Earth mover's distance와 Optimal color composition distance와 같은 거리함수들이 제안되었다. 이 거리함수들은 정확도가 높은 검색 결과를 가져오지만 검색 시간이 매우 크기 때문에 대용량 데이터베이스에서 사용하기 어렵다는 문제점을 가지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위하여 선형 시간에 근사 Earth mover's distance를 구하기 위한 새로운 거리 함수를 제안한다. 제안하는 방법은 선형 시간에 두 이미지의 거리를 계산하기 위하여 공간 채움 곡선을 이용한다. 다양한 실험을 통하여 본 논문에서 제안하는 방법의 우수성을 검증한다. 실험 결과, 제안하는 기법이 Earth mover's distance에 비해 약 160배 정도의 검색 속도 향상 효과를 보이면서도 매우 유사한 결과를 검색하는 것으로 나타났다. For content-based image retrieval, the earth mover's distance and the optimal color composition distance are proposed to measure the dissimilarity. Although providing good retrieval results, both methods are too time-consuming to be used in a large image database. To solve the problem, we propose a new distance function that calculates an approximate earth mover's distance in linear time. To calculate the dissimilarity in linear time, the proposed approach employs the space-filling curve. We have performed extensive experiments to show the effectiveness and efficiency of the proposed approach. The results reveal that our approach achieves almost the same results with the EMD in linear time.

The majority of esophageal Foreign body ingestions occur in the pediatric population. In adults, true foreign object ingestion occurs more commonly among those with psychiatric disorders, mental impairment. The management of esophageal foreign bodies is influenced by the age, clinical condition of ingested material, anatomic location and technical abilities of the endoscopist. Recently the therapeutic endoscopy is becoming wider and more rational in application. We evaluated the role of endoscopy for removal of esophageal foreign bodies during the period of 4 years from January 2000 to December 2003 at the Department of Otolaryngology and Gastroenterology, Seonam University Hospital. The results were as follow, 1) The age ranged from 21 to 74 years old (mean 50.5), most frequent age group was between 61-70 years old and male to female ratio was 1:1.4. 2) Fish bone was the most frequent foreign body in the esophagus ($47.1\%$), food material ($23.5\%$) and meats ($17.6\%$) were next frequent foreign bodies. The most frequent site of lodgement was the first ($78.4\%$), second ($17.6\%$) and third narrowing ($3.9\%$) in order. 3) The most common symptom was foreign body sensation (28.6%). the next common symptoms were chest discomfort($23.8\%$) and dysphagia($19\%$). 4) In duration of lodgement, 49cases ($96.1\%$) were lodged for less than one day. 5) The foreign bodies of esophagus were removed successfully by flexible endoscope with basket, snare, forceps, overtube and endoscopic variceal ligation cap. There were only 3 cases of minimal complications, esophageal mucosal tearing. In conclusion, endoscopic esophageal foreign body removal is useful and safe with minimal or no complications.

본 연구는 음악적 요소를 이용한 통합적 음악활동 경험이 유아의 자아개념에 미치는 영향을 분석하고 이를 통해 통합적 음악활동을 중심으로 한 통합적 음악활동 경험이 유아의 자아개념 형성을 위해 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 알아본 후 통합적 음악활동의 바람직한 방향을 제시하고자 하였다. 본 연구는 경기도 K시에 소재한 J 어린이집 만 5세 두 반을 선정하여 실험집단과 통제집단으로 지정하였으며 각 집단별로 20명의 유아를 대상으로 5주간에 걸쳐 총 12차시 실험을 실시하였다. 본 연구에서는 이경화, 고진영(2015)이 Marsh와 Shavelson(1985)의 자아개념의 위계적 구조모형에 근거하여 그림으로 제작한 ‘유아용 자아개념 검사’(2015)를 연구도구로 사용하였다. 본 연구의 결과 통합적 음악활동 경험이 유아의 인지적, 정의적, 사회적, 신체적 자아 형성에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 결론적으로, 통합적 음악활동 경험이 유아의 자아개념에 긍정적 영향을 미쳤다고 할 수 있다. The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of integrated music activities on the improvement of the self-concept of preschoolers in an effort to make a contribution to the development of the self- concept of preschoolers. The subjects in this study were 40 selected preschoolers in a private daycare center located in the city of K, Gyeonggi Province. They were at the western age of five. An experimental group and a control group were organized with 20 preschoolers each. The instrument used to measure their self-concept was Lee & Kho(2015) Preschooler Self-Concept Inventory by after this inventory was used to conduct a pretest, the experiment was implemented, and then a posttest was carried out with the same inventory. The experiment was conducted 12 sessions during a five-week period of time from April 13 to May 15, 2015. Integrated music activities that combined two or more musical elements respectively were utilized, which were followed by extended activities. A variety of extended activities were conducted such as juvenile drama, making and physical games, and some of the activities were carried out in collaboration with families. The experimental group engaged in these activities in large group, in mid-sized group and individually, and it took about 30 to 45 minutes for them to perform the integrated music activities. The children of control group participated in routine programs during the same period of time. A SPSS WIN 22.0 was employed, and t-test was used to look for intergroup differences in the pretest and posttest scores. The findings of the study were as follows: As for the impact of the integrated music activity experience on the self-concept of the preschoolers, the experience made significant differences to their cognitive self-concept, affective self-concept, social self-concept and physical self-concept. The above-mentioned findings suggested that the experience served to improve all the cognitive self-concept, affective self-concept, social self- concept and physical self-concept of the preschoolers, which were the subfactors of self-concept
