In this paper, implementation of universal CMOS camera using Cortex-M3 is presented. The proposed system is developed based on the LM3S8962 and the system contains 1 CMOS image sensor, 1 extern RAM, 2 serial communication port and so on. People can process their own image algorithm using the proposed Universal CMOS camera.
사무용 폐지에서 유래된 글루코오스를 이용한 레불린산 생산

The optimal conditions for producing levulinic acid from office waste paper were investigated. Glucose was produced by enzymatic hydrolysis and its yield maximized by varying the soaking time of the substrate and amounts of enzyme and substrate. The optimal conditions to produce levulinic acid using the hydrolysate were determined by response surface methodology, with reaction temperature and catalyst (sulfuric acid) concentration as independent variables. The production model was assessed with an ANOVA regression analysis, and the results indicate its suitability for levulinic acid production (p, F, and lack-of-fit values were 0.003, 20.1, and 0.058, respectively). The optimal conditions were a reaction time of 56.27 min and catalyst concentration of 5.9% with a predicted yield of 2.588 g/L. We verified the findings under the same conditions and obtained 2.323 g/L of levulinic acid.
사무용 폐지에서 유래된 글루코오스를 이용한 레불린산 전환

폐지는 우수한 셀룰로오스 자원으로, 고부가가치 화학물질 생산 원재료로 활용할 경우 경쟁력 확보에 매우 유리하다. 폐지에 포함된 셀룰로오스는 목질계로부터 유래하며, 글루코오스의 β-1, 4 glucoside 결합으로 이루어진 쇄상 고분자 물질이다. 셀룰로오스는 가수분해에 의해 글루코오스로 분해되며 글루코오스는 다양한 용도로 사용될 수 있다. 글루코오스 전환으로 얻어진 레불린산은 카르복실기와 케톤기를 포함하여 반응성이 좋으며 다양한 용매를 사용할 수 있어 그 사용가치가 높다. 본 연구에서는 폐지와 참나무를 물리적·화학적 전처리 없이 효소가수분해를 수행한 후 액상가수분해 산물을 이용해 레불린산을 생산하였다. 사전연구에서 바이오매스와 sodium citrate buffer의 침지비율과 효소가수분해 전 침지시간을 결정하였다. 글루코오스 수율을 높이기 위해 효소가수분해 과정에서 효소와 바이오매스를 추가적으로 투입하였다. 참나무의 경우 글루코오스 수율은 3.68%에서 5.98%로 개선되지 않았지만 폐지는 23.95%에서 48.36%으로 글루코오스 수율이 증가하였다. 이후 폐지와 참나무 효소가수분해 액상에 72% 황산 0.1~0.3ml을 첨가 후 oil bath에서 180 ℃, 2시간조건으로 반응하여 레불린산을 생산하였다. 그 결과 폐지의 액상에서 0.015~0.712 g/L의 레불린산이 생성되었으며 참나무 액상에서는 0.112~0.912 g/L의 레불린산이 생성되었다.

In general, two types of informations are used for content-based video copy detection: spatial information and temporal information. The spatial information means content-based image fingerprint. This image fingerprint must have following characteristic. First, extraction is simple. Second, pair-wise independence for random selected two images. At last, robust for modifications. This paper suggest image figerprint designing method for contents based video copy detection.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to determine the differences in cervical cancer knowledge and health beliefs among college students' intention to HPV vaccination, and to identify factors that influence their intention to HPV vaccination. Methods: This study is a descriptive survey study, and the subjects of the study are 122 students who did not have HPV vaccination in a university located in City D. The intention to HPV vaccination, cervical cancer knowledge, and cervical cancer-related health beliefs were investigated from May 3, to May 17, 2021. Data were analyzed using bivariate logistic regression to analyze factors affecting the intention to HPV vaccination. Results: The intention to HPV vaccination among the study subjects was 105 (86%) with intention to vaccinate and 17 (14%) without intention to vaccinate; Gender and perceived susceptibility, seriousness, and benefit of health beliefs significantly affected intention to HPV vaccination, with females being 3.38 times more likely to be vaccinated than males, and in perceived susceptibility, perceived seriousness, and perceived benefit being associated with 2.68, 2.15, and 5.20 times more likely to be vaccinated against HIV. Conclusion: Since intention to HPV vaccination is significantly influenced by health beliefs and gender, it is necessary to provide effective interventions to improve the health beliefs of university students in order to improve intention to HPV vaccination. Especially, it is recommended to develop effective interventions such as educational programs or campaigns to target male students since males have significantly lower intention than females.

In this paper, we propose the robust video signature using log-polar mapping method. To guarantee the similarity between original video contents and modified video contents, we develop the contents region extraction method which uses log-polar transformed video frame images. Contents region is the region where important information is contained. Experimental results showed that the proposed video signature has good robustness and uniqueness, which are the two essential properties of video signatures.

Diesel engines which emit a lot of PM and NOx have been known as a main air polluter. Especially, diesel particulate matters (DPM) including black smoke are hazardous air pollutants to human health and environment. The nations retaining advanced engine technologies have reinforced emission regulations. To meet these regulations diesel engine manufacturers have developed low-emission diesel engines, aftertreatment equipments, alternative fuel technologies and so on. In this study, particle number concentrations characteristics according to particle size and engine driving conditions were analyzed when these low-emission technologies were applied. There was a tendency of increasing particle number concentrations from heavy-duty diesel engines with increasing engine rpm and load rate. In the cases of CDPF (Catalytic Diesel Particulate Filter), CNG (Compressed Natural Gas) engine and ULSD (Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel) more than 99% of particle number concentration were removed.
