韓國(한국) 白堊紀(백악기) 慶尙層群(경상층군)의 恐龍足痕(공룡족흔)

We observe the dinosaur footprints found in Dukmyeong-ri, Hai-myeon, Goseong-gun, Kyungsangnam-do, particularly the ones along the Sangzok coast in details. A total of 75Trackways are identified in eight horizons: 63 trackways are for bipedal and the other 13 for quadrupedals The foot prints of bipedal measure 22-37㎝ in length and 20-35㎝ in width, while the pes of quadrupedal are found to have the dimension of 24-38㎝ in length and 18-37㎝ width. The direction of tracks in six horizon shows a trend of nonrandoms.
高校(고교) 地球科學(지구과학)의 探究學習資料(탐구학습자료) 開發(개발)과 그 適用(적용)에 關(관)하여 -지질도 작성 및 해석을 중심으로-

The purpose of this study is to develop a inquiry learning instrument and to evaluate the effec-tiveness of experiment in the concept-forming about mapping and interpretation of the geological map. Unfortunately no proper experimental instruments on the content of this study has been utilized in the current domestic Earth Science textbooks. In this study, the geological struc-ture models with 4 different dips were developed. In order to evaluate the effectiveness of the experiment, we prepared a test consisted of 10 problems and compared the test results performed by the control group who conducted the exper-iments along with regular class with another test results performed by comparative group who participated only regular class without experiment. The control group is consisted of 102 girls` high school students in Taegu area, and the comparative group is 104 students. The test results are as follow : i)The mean of the test results of the control group (XA) is 7.18, while that of comparative group(XB) is 6.38. ii)The difference of the test scores between two groups has been turned out to be highly significant at the 0.05 level of significance. (t = 3.270 at the criterion for significance, a=0.05 and the degree of freedom, df= 206). This suggest that the class learned by the experiment is more effective in the concept-forming of the making and interpretation of the geological map than the class only learned by lectures.
고성군 일대 백악기 조각류 공룡 보행렬의 특성 : 통계학적 접근

백악기 하양층군의 상부 지층에서는 공룡 발자국이 많이 산출되며, 고성군에 분포하는 진동층에는 237개의 공룡 보행렬이 분포한다. 발자국 중 73%는 2족보행 공룡의 것이며 조각류가 가장 우세하게 나타난다. 연구지역의 조각류발자국은 다양한 크기, 형태 그리고 보행 습성을 보이며, 발자국의 형태에 따라서 B1, B2와 B9의 3가지 유형으로 분류된 바 있다. 조각류의 골반의 높이와 발자국의 크기에 기초한 보행속도에 의하면 발자국의 주인공들은 대부분 천천히 걷는 보행을 했던 것으로 해석된다. 조각류와 수각류 사이의 보행렬의 특성을 정량적으로 비교하기 위하여 다변량분석(주성분, 판별함수)을 실시하였다. 주성분 분석으로 부터 2개의 요인이 추출되었으며, 요인 1은 주로 공룡의 크기와 관련되고 요인 2는 보행 습성과 관련된다. 판별분석은 93%의 판별력을 보였으며, 조각류 발자국은 판별점수 1.4를 기준으로 수각류와 구분된다. The track-rich beds occur in the upper part of the Cretaceous Hayang Group. The Jindong Formation in Goseong County produces 247 dinosaur trackways of which 73% are belonging to bipedal dinosaurs and ornithopod tracks are prevailing. The tracks show significant variation in size, morphology and gait pattern. On the basis of footprint morphology, the ornithopod tracks were classified into three major types, B1, B2 and B9. The ornithopod trackways based on the height at hip and footprint size indicate that most of the track-makers in this study area walked slowly. Multivariate analyses of variance (principal component and discriminant function) were used to make a quantitative comparison between ornithopods and theropods in relation to the characteristics of trackways. Two factors were extracted from the principal component analysis for dinosaur tracks. Factor 1 has a close relationship with the size of dinosaur and factor 2 is related with gait habitat of track-makers. Discriminant function shows a good discriminating ability with 93% confidence, and the ornithopod tracks can be distinguished from theropod tracks at Hwasun area with a discriminant score 1.4.

Currently the evaluation of high school science and mathematics learning has been too much much knowledge-centered without concerning the inquiring ability or scientific attitude. This study, therefore, was made for the purpose of establishing of evaluation model for high school science (biology and earth science) and mathematics learning its evaluation I toms. In this paper, the research was done about three fields, biology, earth science and mathematics. 1. For the biology, the evaluation methods of inquiry learning were studied with the foreign references, and proper evaluation items were suggested. 2. For the earth science, after anal I zing 5 kinds of earth science textbooks of current using in high school, essential 19 Items were selected. 5 of them were tested in test group and control group, then, the results were anal i zed. 3. For the mathematics, the teaching elements of 「Set」and 「Flow chart」in mathematics(I) were selected and structured. Detailed teaching objects were established and evaluation items were introduced.
