        복합운동프로그램이 노인의 하지근력, 근지구력, 균형능력, 보행능력에 미치는 효과

        This study was designed to investigate the effects of complex exercise training on lower legs muscle strength, muscle endurance, balance and gait ability in elders. 44 elders who were applied for this study as subjects and were assigned randomly into experimental and control group by 22 elders. Four elders discontinued for individual conditions; house moving (1) and hospitalization (3). Both group had the education of physical health. Experimental group (n=19) were 60-minute per session, two time per for week, 8-weeks elastic band and balance pad for resistance training and balance training. Control group (n=21) executed no physical training program. The results of study were as follows. There were significantly increased by complex exercise that the strength of knee extention, ankle dorsiflexion, muscle endurance, balance ability, and gait ability (p<.05). Interaction between group and time had a significant effect on the all factors except for step and stride length (p<.05). In conclusion, the complex exercise training improves lower legs muscle strength, muscle endurance, balance and gait ability in elders. These results suggest that elders will be prevented about risk of a fall at all by complex exercise. Eventually we can expect them to have their old age with full of vitality.

        MS 환자에서 PMV 후 트레이닝이 운동능력에 미치는 영향

        Percutaneous mitral valvuloplasty(PMV) is the most popular treatment in MS patient have major symptom of exertional dyspnea and decrease in exercise capacity. But the results of PMV in exercise capacity improvement are in controversy and the effects of exercise training in MS with PMV are not proven. So, the purpose of this study was to After sucessful PMV, they were devided into two groups. 10 patients underwent 3 months home exercise rehabilitation program and the others did not. Exercise rehabilitation program consisted of 5 to 10 minutes warm-up, 20-30 minutes stationary cycle ergometer exercise and 10 minutes cool-down. The exercise intensity was 50%-70% peak O2. After PMV, the mitral valve area increased 0.75±0.1㎠ to 1.9±0.3㎠ in training group(p<.001) and from 0.9±0.2㎠ to 1.7±0.4㎠ in control group(p<.001). Exercise training improved exercise duration(689.6±223.5 vs 838.4±220.6, P<.001) peak V˙CO_2(18.8±5.0 vs 27.3±5.5, P<.001), peak V˙CO_2(1444.6±442.5 vs 1847.9±436.8 P<.001) and V˙E/V˙CO_2(35.1±4.3 vs 32.4±3.7, P<.05). In control group, exercise duration was increased 1 week after PMV(P<.05) but slightly decrease with no significance months after PMV. And peak V˙O_2 peak V˙O_2 and V˙CO_2 had same patterns. Our study indicates that exercise training improve peak V˙O_2 and V˙E/CO_2 continuosly in patient with mitral stenosis 3 months after PMC. So, exercise training should be include in MS treatment after PMV to improve exercise capacity and decrease exertional dyspnea.

        운동강도에 따른 총항산화능과 MDA의 변화

        The purpose of this study was to investigate the changes of blood Total antioxidant and MDA(Malonalderhyde) concentration with different exercise intensities(AT:Anaeroci Threshold-80% and AT-110%). Eight healthy young males(27.88±2.16 yr) were recruited for exercise session. Exercise intensity was builds AT 80% and AT 110% each. The blood samples were collected at pre-exercise, post exercise, recovery 30min, and\recovery 90min of the two exercise bouts, and determined the total anixidant satus activity and plasma MDA levls. There were significant differences in the total antioxidant status activity and MDA level with different exercise intensities(AT-80%, AT-110%)(P<.05) As a conclusion, this study shows that Total antioxidant and MDA were changed significantly at point of AT. It will be suggested that exercise(below AT) improve body's defence capacities against free radicals generation, as a result of an adaptation to maintain in activities of antioxidant enzyme system.

        프로야구투수의 볼 스피드와 견관절, 요부관절의 등속성회전력과의 상관연구

        The purpose of this study was to investigate the correletion regarding the isokinetic muscular performance characteristics of the Shoulder External/Internal rotator in 90° supine ABTP and Trunk Extension/Flexion strength. Twenty five health professional baseball pitchers were evaluated by use of CYBEX 6000 and CYBEX 770. Shoulder External/Internal rotator tests were performed concentrically at 60deg/sec, 180 deg/sec and 300 deg/sec for dominant and non-dominant shoulders. Trunk extension/flexion tests were performed at 30 deg/sec, 60deg/sec, 120 deg/sec. The result were as followings. 1. There was no significant correlation between shoulder external rotators and throwing speed. 2. There was no significant correlation between shoulder internal rotators and throwing speed. 3. There was no significant correlation between shoulder external/internal ratio and throwing speed. 4. There was significant correlation between Trunk flexors and throwing speed. especially, 180deg/sec and 300deg/sec were significant correlation at 0.05 of P value. 5. There was significant correlation between Trunk extensors and throwing speed. but there was no significant statistical difference at each test speed(p<.05). These finding indicate that there was no significant correlation between shoulder external and internal rotators and throwing speed, however, there was higher correlation between trunk flexors/extensors adn throwing speed.

        비만 여성의 운동교육을 통한 신체구성, 혈중지질 및 운동능력의 변화

        The purpose of this study was to investigate the changes of anthropometry and blood lipids level and functional capacity through exercise session of obesity women. The subjects were composed of 21 obese women. The mean age and height, %body fat of 21 subjects were 33.2 years old and 160.2cm, 38.7%, respectively. On the basis of the results analysed in this study, conclusions were drawn as follows. 1. There were statistically significant(p<0.01) decrease in body weight (6.5kg, 7%), %body fat(4.5%, 10%), BMI(2.6kg/㎡, 7%). 2. We could find that HDL-C(1.2mg/dl, 2%), TG(19mg/dl, 12%), HDL/LDL(0.02, 0.5%) were increased but it did not represent a statistical significant differences. We could find that TC(6.2mg/dl, 2%), LDL-C(7.3mg/이, 5%), TC/HDL(0.3, 6%) were decreased but, it did not represent a statistically significant differences. 3. In changes of exercise capacity, there were statistically significant differences in exercise time (2mins 30secs, 28%)(p<0.01), VO2max. (0.41L/min, 12.4%)(p<.05), VO2max./Kg(4.9ml/kg/min, 20%)(p<0.05). 4. The results suggest that exercise training for 12wk could change a body composition and exercise capacity through statistic analysis, but there was no significant difference in blood lipid profile. Thus, the study of hyperlipidemia suggest that there is a more clear effect of exercise if increased period for training.

        윙게이트 검사에서 무산소능력 및 피로도 산출의 타당성 검출

        Wingate test is the worldwide anaerobic performance test to determine the anaerobic power and anaerobic capacity. Recently, a number of computerized Wingate test system was developed and used to accurate problems with determine fatigue index on this system. The purpose of this study, therefore, was to compare the results of computerized wingate test with isokientic power test of knee extension/flexion, and the establish whether or not a correlation exists between fatigue index in the wingate test(WFI) and endurance ratio in isokinetic high speed test(IED). Forteen health professional baseball players(Age:24.08±2.64(yr); Height:177.79±3.59(cm); Weight:77.71±8.37(kg)) were evaluated by use of Cybex 770 for isokinetic knee Ex/Fx test(IEX, IFX), and Cardio∼key training system for 30s wingate tests. The test speed of isokinetic test was 240deg/sec for 25reps, and the leg force equation was designed to produce 4.4J/kg/rev, in the Wingate test. In addition, we applied four equations to test a validity of fatigue index calculated by the Wingae test system. The test results represented that there were significant correlations between Wingate Peak Power(WPP) and isokinetic knee test(r=.787 for WPPvsIEX(p<.01); r=.676 for WPPvs.IFX(p<.05)). There was correlations between WPPvs WFI(r=5.38(p<.05)). Also, there was significant correlations between endurance ratio at isokinetic knee test(IER) vs three of four calculated fatigue index (IERvs. T1-T2: r=-.726: IERvs.FI-LI: r=-.777: IERvs.MI1-LI: r=-.646) but not with WFI. It was suggested that the computerized Wingate test are meaningful to evaluate anaerobic power and high correlation with isokinetic high speed test. However, to evaluate the anaerobic capacity and fatigue index, it is better to be calculated the fatigue index with work(J) instead of with peak point(W).
