<명선록(明善錄)>의 반주자학적 논거의 이제마(李濟馬)의 사상인장이론(四象人臟理論)과의 관련성에 대하여

This study are performed to reveal the origin of the Sasang constitutional theory made by Lee-jae-ma(李濟馬), confucianist as well as famous oriental doctor, who succeeded to Han- suck-jie(韓錫地)'s Anti-Neo-Confucianism. Han wrote a book na mod Myung-Suen-Lock(明善錄) which criticized Neo-Confucianism formed at times of Song dynasty in China and proposed a new doctrine i.e Anti-Neo-Confucianism. He asserted that The Sacred and Ordinary Men are all the same in nature, and that The Acatul Mind of Universe and The Actual Mind of Human also are all the same ultimately These two assertions cleary contrasted with pre-existing Neo-confucianism led Lee-jae-ma to successively organize Sasang constitutional theoy. This study is aimed to illuminate this point : How under the effects of Han's new doctrine Lee-jae-ma could find four general constitutions due to the functional variation of the four organs. At first, Lee indicated four organs as the very general basement providing human nature for all men including The Sacred. In consequence, he justified one of the Han's assertions that The Sacred and Ordinary Men are all the same in nature. Secondly, Lee indicated the Mind as the actual center which bring forth the individual spontaneity. As far as this individual spontaneity is rightly aimed, which means harmonize his own's with the actual process of the Universe, all men could be The Sacred. So he come to justify the other of Han's assertions that The Actual Mind of Universe and The Actual Mind of Human also are all the same ultimately. Therefore, it is clearly verified that the Lee-jae-ma's Sasang doctrine is the successive achievement origined from Han-suck-jie(韓錫地)'s Anti-Neo-Confucianism abundantly represented in his own book, Myung-Suen-Lock.

대장 선종의 위험 인자로 복부 비만 및 인슐린 저항성에 대한 연구

목적: 대장암은 유전 소인, 흡연, 음주, 식습관 등의 환경인자가 작용하여 발생하며 또한 비만, 고지혈증, 고혈당, 고인슐린 혈증 및 인슐린 저항성이 대장암의 발암과정과 연관이 있다. 다양한 비만 지표를 이용해서 대장 선종과 비만 및 인슐린 저항성과의 연관성을 알아보고자 하였다. 대상 및 방법: 2004년 1월부터 2004년 10월까지 한양대학병원에서 검진 목적으로 대장내시경검사와 기타 검사를 시행 받은 환자를 대상으로 전향적으로 환자 대조군 연구를 시행했다. 크기가 0.5 cm 이상이며 조직학적으로 대장 선종이 증명된 50명의 환자를 대상으로 했으며, 대조군은 동일 기간 중 대장내시경검사를 시행 받았으나 특이 병변이 없었던 자로 정했다. 결과: 인슐린, 공복혈당, 총 콜레스테롤, triglyceride, LDL, HDL 수치, 수축기 및 이완기 혈압은 환자군에서 모두 증가되었으나 환자군과 대조군 사이에 유의한 차이는 없었다. HOMA-IR은 환자군에서 인슐린 저항성 수치가 높았으나 통계적인 유의성은 없었다. 그러나 체질량지수, 복부 비만, 체지방, 비만도는 환자군이 대조군 보다 유의하게 높았다. 다변량 분석에서 복부 비만이 가장 의미 있는 위험 인자였으며 체질량지수가 증가함에 따라 대장 선종의 위험도도 증가했다. 체지방, 비만도 역시 중요한 위험 인자였다. 결론: 비만과 대장 선종의 연관성에서 복부 비만이 가장 중요한 위험 인자였으며 복강 내 지방조직이 중요한 역할을 할 것으로 기대한다. 향후 대규모의 환자 대조군 및 코호트 연구가 필요하며 복강 내 지방의 역할에 대한 분자생물학적인 연구가 필요하다. Background/Aims: Abdominal obesity and hyperinsulinemia or insulin resistance are of interest in connection with colon carcinogenesis. We conducted a prospective case controlled study for the evaluation of relationship between abdominal obesity, insulin resistance, and colorectal adenoma. Methods: Fifty patients with colorectal adenoma and fifty healthy subjects were included in this study. Total colonoscopic examinations were performed in all the subjects. Fasting blood sugar (FBS), insulin, homeostasis model assessment (HOMA-IR), triglyceride (TG), cholesterol (CROL), BMI (body mass index), WHR (waist hip ratio), percent body fat (PBF) and obesity degree (OD) were measured. HOMA-IR was considered to represent insulin resistance. Diabetic patients were excluded from this study. Results: There were no differences in sex, serum insulin, FBS, HOMA-IR, TG, CROL between adenoma and control group. Subjects with high BMI, WHR, percent body fat, and obesity were more likely to have colonic adenoma. Multiple logistic regression analysis after adjusting confounding factors, had revealed that WHR was the most important independent risk factor for colon adenoma. Conclusions: Abdominal obesity was most closely related to colonic adenoma. However, insulin resistance was not related to colonic adenoma. A larger case controlled study is needed. Methicillin resistant Staphylococcal aureus (MRSA) enterocolitis is characterized by high fever, abdominal distension, and watery diarrhea that leads to severe dehydration, shock, a sharp decrease in the white cell counts and sometimes multiple organ failure. Clinically, it can be an another cause of nosocomial diarrhea. If MRSA enteritis is suspected from the clinical symptoms, prompt treatment and strict prophylactic measures including vancomycin, are most important for its management. We recently observed a case of MRSA enterocolitis as a nosocomial infection in a patient with acute pancreatitis. This patient showed uncontrolled massive diarrhea, fever, and multiple organ failure. We report a case of MRSA enterocolitis with a review of literatures. (Korean J Gastroenterol 2003;42:246-248)

경기침체의 국가간 파급경로 -GDP, 국내신용, 주가에 대한 실증분석-

본 연구는 62개 선진국 및 개도국 표본을 이용하여 경기침체의 국가간 전파가 어떤 경로를 통하여 어느 정도의 강도로 이루어지는지를 실증적으로 분석하였다. GDP, 국내신용, 주가의 세 변수에 대한 분석결과에 의하면 첫째, 경기침체의 국가간 전파는 경제적 연관성이 높은 국가들을 중심으로 강하게 발생함을 발견할 수 있었다. 둘째, 경기침체의 국가간 전파는 경제호황의 국가간 전파보다 더 강하게 나타나며, 또한 경기침체 중에서도 심각한 경기침체의 전파가 일반적인 경기침체의 전파보다 더 강하게 나타남을 알 수 있었다. 셋째, 세계경제의 통합추세를 반영하여 1997년 이후 기간의 경우에 경기침체의 국가간 전파가 보다 뚜렷하게 나타났다. 넷째, 전체국가를 대상으로 한 경우에는 대체로 국제무역을 통한 전파가 더욱 뚜렷이 발견되었으나, 선진국의 금융변수의 침체는 특히 국제금융 경로를 통하여 개도국에 전파될 가능성을 높이는 것으로 나타난다. Using panel data from 62 developed and developing countries, this paper empirically examines how economic contractions spread across countries. In particular, we define contraction episodes in GDP, domestic credit, and stock prices and investigate synchronization of those events among economically related countries. Our findings are as follows. First, fluctuations in GDP, domestic credit, and stock prices tend to coincide among countries that are linked through international trade and finance. Second, the comovement is more evident in contractions than expansions. Third, perhaps because of the recent trend of globalization, the international transmission of contractions is more clearly observed in the post-1997 years. Fourth, while the trade linkage is most important in overall transmission of contractions, financial contractions in advanced economies appear to spread to developing economies mainly through financial linkages.

유전자감식에 의한 개에서의 친자감별

The biological father of two Golden Retriever puppies was determined between two proposed stud dogs by using microsatellite DNA analysis. DNA was obtained from all the relevant dogs by buccal swabbing and three loci of tetranucleotide repeat microsatellite were PCR-amplifiedl and analyzed by polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis and silver staining. One of the two proposed stud dogs was assigned as the biological father of the puppies by the genotyping. The result demonstrated that the microsatellite DNA analysis is a simple, efficient method of paternity test in dogs.

소수연령 독립 가정에서 탈퇴율의 성질

생명표(life table) 또는 다중탈퇴표(multiple decrement table)는 연령별로 1년 이내에 탈퇴가 발생할 확률을 나타내지만 보험의 탈퇴현상은 특정 연령에서 1년 이내 임의 시점에 탈퇴가 발생할 확률을 필요로 한다. 따라서 이러한 현상을 나타내는 소수연령(Fractional Age)에 대한 분포의 가정이 탈퇴율의 계산에 필수적인 요소이다. 실무에서는 UDD 가정을 이용하여 소수연령 분포에 대체하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 Lee (2008)의 다중탈퇴율과 절대탈퇴율의 전환 공식을 UDD 가정 대신에 보다 일반적인 가정인 소수연령 독립(FI: Fractional Age Independence) 가정하에서 연 기준의 절대탈퇴율을 월 기준의 다중탈퇴율로 전환하거나 연 기준의 다중탈퇴율을 월 기준의 절대탈퇴율로 전환하는 공식을 유도한다. 유도된 공식은 월 기준 대신에 일(day) 기준 또는 분기(quarter) 기준 또는 반기(semiannual) 기준 등으로도 전환 가능한 공식이다. 또한 월 기준의 절대탈퇴율에서 월 기준의 다중탈퇴율로 전환 가능한 공식도 제시한다. 추가적으로 다중탈퇴율이 FI 가정을 따를 때 절대탈퇴율에서 다중탈퇴 율로 전환하는 공식도 유도한다. 여러 가지 유도된 공식은 Bowers 등 (1997)와 Lee (2008)에 있는 전환 공식 일반적인 형태임을 확인할 수 있다. 또한 여러 가지 유도된 공식을 이용하여 수치 예를 통하여 절대탈퇴율과 다중탈퇴율의 전환과정을 각각 설명한다. This paper derives conversion formulas from yearly-based absolute rates of decrements to monthly-based rates of decrement due to cause j under FI (fractional age independence) assumption that is a generalization of UDD assumption. Next, it suggests conversion formulas from monthly-based absoluterates of decrements to monthly-based rates of decrement due to cause j under FI assumption. In addition, it calculates conversion formulas from yearly-based rates of decrement due to cause j to the corresponding monthly-based absolute rates of decrements under FI assumption. Some numerical examples are discussed.
