Quantitative analysis of optical scattering intensities from a Au nanoparticle with a diameter of 100 nm, which is effected by the localized surface plasmon resonance (LSPR), were numerically carried out by using a dark-field detection scheme on prism basal plane for two different beam incident modes of reflectance (R-mode) and transmittance (T-mode). Two-dimensional finite difference time domain (FDTD) algorithm was adopted, and its applicabilibility was verified by comparing the simulation results with the theoretical ones. Simulation results of the scattered light intensities from a Au nanoparticle revealed that the scattered intensity of the T-mode was much stronger than that of R-mode. Comparison of the calculated results with the theoretical intensity distribution on the prism showed that the scattered intensity is marimized when the evanescent field, which is generated from the interface of prism and air at TIR angle, is coupled with Au nanoparticle.
리플로 납땜 공정에서 플라스틱 IC 패키지의 습기 및 열로 인한 파손문제 해석

The purpose of this paper is to evaluate the delamination and fracture integrity of the IC plastic package under hygrothermal loading by stress analysis and fracture mechanics approaches. The plastic SOJ package with a dimpled diepad under the reflow slodering process of IR heating type is considered. On the package without a crack, the stress variation according to the change of the design variables such as the material and shape of the package is calculated and the possibility of delamination is considered. For the model fully delaminated between the chip and diepad, J-integrals are calculated for the various design variables and the fracture integrity is discussed. From the results, optimal design values of variables to prevent the delamination and fracture of IC package are obtained. In this study, FDM program to obtain the vapor pressure from the content of moisture absorbed into the package is developed.
유리섬유를 이용한 손상된 프리스트레스트 콘크리트 보의 보강공법 개발연구

현재 국내에는 지난 35년간 프리스트레스트 콘크리트보를 이용한 합성형 교량이 매우 널리 건설, 사용되어 왔으나, 교통량의 증가와 차량하중의 증가로 노후화가 점차 가속화되고 있는 형편이다. 본 연구에서는 유리섬유를 이용하여 손상된 프리스트레스트 콘크리트 교량을 보강하는 방법의 효과를 평가하기 위하여 무보강 표준시험체와 선행 하중의 재하로 균열이 발생한 8개의 시험체에 대하여 유리섬유 보강, 외부강선 보강 및 두가지 보강 방법을 병행한 보강을 실시하여 각 보강방법의 효과를 비교, 분석하였다. 실험결과, 최대하중은 외부강선 보강 시험체와 유리섬유 보강 시험체가 모두 거의 유사한 정도의 보강효과를 발휘함으로써 유리섬유 보강공법이 손상된 프리스트레스트 콘크리트 교량의 보강에 적용될 수 있는 것으로 판명되었다. 외부강선 보강공법에서의 가장 큰 문제가 단부의 정착장치인 것과 마찬가지로 유리섬유 보강 공법의 경우에도 최대하중에 도달하기 이전에 보강재의 부착이 파괴되지 않도록 적절한 방법을 선정하는 것이 매우 중요하며, 본 연구에서 검증된 두가지 방법이 단부의 정착기능을 충분히 발휘하는 것으로 판명되어, 이들 방법들이 적절히 사용될 경우에는 설계된 내하력의 증가를 기대할 수 있는 것으로 나타났다. Many composite girder bridges have been constructed for about thirty five years. Nowadays they are aged or deteriorated because of the increase in traffic and vehicle loads. In this study, the effect of strengthening with glass fiber sheet is investigated to estimate the possibility for applying to damaged prestressed concrete bridges. One normal and eight cracked specimens which had been preloaded were tested. The cracked specimens were strengthened with either external prestressing or bonding glass fiber sheet, or using both methods. The results showed that the maximum loads are almost same for both methods. So it seems that the strengthening with glass fiber sheet can be used for strengthening damaged prestressed concrete girders. It is important that proper devices should be selected to prevent glass fiber sheet from premature bonding failure below its maximum load, which is similar to end anchorage problem in external prestressing method. It is proved that the devices proposed in this paper have sufficient anchoring capability to increase load carrying capacity.
스트레인게이지형 연신률계 센서의 측정정밀도에 대한 실험적/해석적인 연구

This paper is to study of the measuring accuracy of the displacement sensor in extensometer, the displacement extension gauge, using strain gauge. Elongation measurement gauges aim to measure displacements by fixing directly to specimen. So it is important that we preestimate the relation of the deformation of the sensing element according to the deformation of specimen and obtain the linearity between the two deformations. For this, the deformation behavior of the displacement sensor was obtained through the theory and finite element analysis. It was confirmed that the measuring deformation values and tendency obtained experimentally were similar to those by the theoretical equation that was induced for the sensor inside the extensometer. A self-made calibration instrument with a dialgage 1/1000 mm was used to evaluate the accuracy. Results obtained in this research will be available on development of extensometer for the various uses such as the extremely high temperature and the high accuracy.
