Background and Purpose. Physical therapists are at risk for work-related musculoskeletal disorders (WMSDs). Little understand the characteristics of work in physical therapist or the effort they take to prevent injury. The purpose of this study was to investigate the characteristics of work in physical therapist and the efforts for prevent injury Subjects. Standardized questionnaire was administered to 103 physical therapist in Pusan association. Methods. An questionnaire was given to each subject. Questions investigated the characteristics of work in physical therapist, efforts and caring of injury prevention. Chi-square Test used to assess the association of general characteristics with the characteristics of work in physical therapist. AVONA and T-test used to assess the association of efforts of prevent injury in independent variable Results. Physical therapist was reported a higher prevalence of WMSDs in most body areas. These attributes sometimes resulted in behaviors that contributed to the development of their WMSDs.

노인장기요양보험제도 시행에 따른 등급판정의 중요성에 대한 연구

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to investigate the importance of grade decision and role of physical therapist which follows enforcement of elderly long-term residential care insurance system. Methods: One of the data from grade decision meeting in Bukgu, Busan on 2007 which was 88 case of attached finding of doctor was compared with findings of visited investigator. Result: Eighty-four investigation subjects had 186 diseases that included stroke and arthritis, requiring the need for physical therapeutic approaches. In addition, the results of the door-to-door research project in the northern district of Busan showed that there was no match out of 88 subjects who submitted the viewpoint of the doctor. Such a result was produced as the doctors did not diagnose the patient directly, but rather the diagnoses were obtained from guardians and a door-to-door researcher who had a poor understanding of geriatric motion and function. Conclusion: To enforce long-term care successfully, a re-investigation should be performed for the welfare of the aged.

한방물리치료 필요성과 인지도 연구

Background : With its research and analysis on the actual condition of the oriental medical treatment and the oriental physical therapy and With its research on the physical therapists' awareness of the oriental physical therapy, Providing the basic information for the physical therapy development and the national heath improvement in the future. Methods : This research had performed random sampling survey of 200 physical therapists in Busan city and had excluded 4 with insincere answers or some ommission of survey contents. Result : The first most frequent disease type of the oriental medical center inpatients is paralytic sequela, the second is lumbago, the next is apoplexy in order. The first most frequent disease type of the outpatients is lumbago, the second is stiffness in the shoulder, the next is the sprain in order. And, it came out that most of frequent disease are required the physical therapy. Conclusion : This research results show high demands as well as the necessity of the oriental physical therapy. It seems physical therapy association needs very serious examination on the oriental physical therapy execution.

컴퓨터 마우스 보조기구 사용이 근활성도에 미치는 영향

Purpose : This study is to know the effect on muscle activity when people use mouse aid or not in computer working environment. Method : 11 people of both sex in their twentieth were tested. As a independent variable, the condition without mouse aid and the condition with movable mouse aid were selected, and as a dependent variable, MVC(%) on four muscles and inconvenience degree(RPE scale) on three body part(wrist, forearm, shoulder) were measured. Result : Analyzing the research, MVC(%) of extensor muscle of finger had notably higher muscle activity than other muscles, and there wasn't notable difference in muscle activity before and after using mouse aid. In case of using mouse aid, we tested by giving RPE questionnaire which segmentalized mental fatigue degree into hand, forearm, and shoulder, and resultingly, there wasn't notable differences perspectively. However, people felt less tiredness subjectively after they use the mouse aid. Conclusion : The usage of mouse aid seems to give comfort to computer users.

엉덩관절 가동범위에 따른 중간볼기근의 근활성도 비교

Background : The purpose of this study was to investigate the electromyographic(EMG) amplitude of the gluteus medius muscle bilaterally at various hip angles and motions(flexion, extension and abduction). Methods : Thirty young with a mean(SD) age of 21.03(1.69) years performed hip motions(flexion, extension and abduction) while the surface EMG activity of the gluteus medius muscles was recorded bilaterally. Subjects were instructed to use the right lower limb during moving 3 different direction. Differences in EMG amplitudes in according with movement direction and angle were assessed by use of paired t-test analyses of variance for the right and left lower extremities. The alpha level was set at .05. Results : Gluteus medius muscle EMG activities in the both side were significantly greater for abduction at angles of 30 degrees than those for other motions at other angles. Conclusion : Hip abduction at angles of 30 degrees on the standing position may be effective in activating the gluteus medius muscle.

안전한 도시, 건강한 시민보호를 위한 생활안전 마을설계에 관한 연구

본 연구는 생활주변의 위험요소를 공익신고를 통하여 민관협력으로 조치완료하여 안전한 도시, 건강한 시민보호를 하여, 안전한 생활을 할 수 있도록 마을을 설계하는 이론과 적용에 관하여 다루고 있다. 서울시 서대문구 북가좌2동 지역을 대상으로 2010년부터 안전 위해요소 신고 700 여건을 통하여 마을이 지속적으로 안전한 마을로 개선되고 있으며, 2010년 동주민 37,000 여명 중 사망자 151명이, 2011년 사망자 128명으로 줄어들어, 23명의 사망자가 줄어들었다. 이는 OECD에서 분석한 우리나라 사망자중 12.8%가 사건사고에 의하여 사망한다는 가정에 의하면 18명이지만, 이 마을은 무려 5명의 사망자가 더 감소하는 결과를 얻었다. 하인리히 법칙인 1:29:300의 법칙에 의한다면, 무려 667명의 중경상자를 줄이고, 6,900 여명의 위험을 느끼는 시민을 줄였다는 결과를 얻었다. 이러한 생활안전 마을설계의 이론과 적용방법을 제시하고, 이를 시민에게 공개하여 방문할 수 있도록 생활안전 마을설계를 하였다. 생활안전 마을설계는 서울특별시의 안전마을 사업지원을 받아 생활안전마을 탐방 안내도를 2013년 12월에 작성하여, 이를 제시하였다.

Statement of problem: A phenomenon of screw-loosening in implant abutment is frequently occurred in a single and multiple implant restoration. Purpose: This study was performed to evaluate an effect of abutment material on screw-loosening before and after a cyclic loading. In a single-tooth implant, different materials of abutment, Type III Gold alloy and Zirconium composite$(ZrO_2/Al_2O_3)$ were used. Material and method: The Gold alloy(Type III) and Zirconium composite$(ZrO_2/Al_2O_3)$ were used to make a superstructure of implant, the one of types of UCLA, Each group was constituted of 5 sample with a 30-degree offset angulated loading platform. The external hexagonal fixture was rigidly hel d in a special holding zig to ensure solid fixation without rotation during the tightening and a cyclic loading. A Titanium-alloy screw was used to connect and controlled to be tighten in 20Ncm torque by a digital torque gauge. A 20 times of consecutive closing/opening cycle were performed to evaluate the immediate torque loss. In 5 sample of each material group, an initial opening torque was recorded during 3 closing/opening cycle, then 2Hz, 200N, 1,000,000 cyclic loadings were performed, then a opening torque was evaluated. Result & Conclusion: 1. In this limited study, titanium alloy screw tightened in 20Ncm, a cold-welding phenomen on was not observed during the 20 times of closing/opening cycle(p=0.11, p=0.18). 2. In titanium alloy abutment screw, repeated opening and closing of the screw caused to progressive decrease of opening torque(p=0.014). 3. The difference in preload of screw between gold alloy abutment and ceramic$(ZrO_2/Al_2O_3)$ abutment was not significant(p=0.78). 4. The difference in torque loss of screw between gold alloy abutment and ceramic$(ZrO_2/Al_2O_3)$ abutment was not significant after 2Hz,200N, 1,000,000 cyclic loading(p=0.92). 5. In titanium alloy abutment screw tightened by 20Ncm, the screw loosening was not significant on each group after 2Hz, 200Ncm, 1,000,000 cyclic loading(p=0.59).
