In this paper, the genetic algorithm is used to design a mixed H₂/ H/sub ∞/ controller Two kinds of controller forms, Youla's form and the general form, are considered to design a mixed H₂/ H/sub ∞/ controller. Efficient searching methods are sought to minimize the given H₂cost function under the H∞ constraint. It is verified by an example that the developed algorithm can provide stable results in the region where unstable results are shown by the conventional gradient method.

Due to the recent aircraft accidents both in Ethiopian airline and Malaysian airline, almost all the media are focusing the importance of the airline safety. Especially, media's eyes and ears are interested in the reasons why Malaysia airline's missing presumed as by either terrorist attack or pilot's mistake. Safety Behaviors of pilot are viewed as the most important human factor issues among researchers. This is because, if it were the case of a commercial airline, pilot's safety behavior would be directly related to the lives of couple of hundreds passengers. This paper considers the antecedents of this safety behaviors as pilot's leadership, pilot's leadership and self-efficacy. This paper has tried to find out which human factors of a pilot would have significant impact on their safety behaviors. According to the empirical research result from SEM (Structural Equation Model), it was found out both the leadership and self-efficacy of a pilot had direct impact on their safety behaviors through safety motivation. Thus it could be concluded that flight crew must follow the instruction of a pilot who had the authority of the flight operation. The managerial implication are discussed in the conclusion part of this paper. As an implication, this paper concluded that it would be necessary to do further research on pilot's leadership and self-efficacy.

Coal workers' pneumoconiosis (CWP) and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) are characterized as chronic inflammation of the lung in miners exposed to coal mine dust. The aim of the present study was to compare the levels of serum lactate dehydrogenase (LD) and C-reactive protein (CRP) as the inflammatory indices between subjects with CWP and those with CWP and COPD (CWP+COPD), among a total of 97 subjects (27 control, 40 CWP, and 30 CWP+COPD patients). The mean levels of serum LD (165.7 vs 184.6 U/L, p=0.016) and CRP (0.08 vs 0.15 mg/dL, p=0.002) in subjects with CWP were higher than those of in subjects without CWP. The mean level of serum CRP (0.10 vs 0.19 mg/dL, p=0.008) in subjects with COPD was higher than that in subjects without COPD. In an analysis of covariance adjusted by age, the mean level of serum CRP showed statistical significance among the study groups, control, CWP, and CWP+COPD (0.07 vs 0.13 vs 0.19 mg/dL, p=0.005); the mean level of serum CRP in the CWP+COPD group was significantly higher than that of the control group (p=0.001). The results suggest that a high level of CRP in the serum may be associated with CWP and COPD in retired coal miners.

차량의 GPS 정보를 활용한 도로정보 추출 및 적용 방법

최근 수집되는 GPS 정보를 분석하여 개인화 맞춤 서비스를 제공하는 연구가 다양한 방면으로 연구되고 있으며, 수집된 GPS데이터가 대용량화됨에 따라 다양한 서비스들이 출시되고 있다. 하지만 기존의 연구들은 사용자에게 맞춘 서비스 모델을 제시할 뿐 GPS정보를 시스템에 도입하여 지능화된 컴퓨팅 기술을 도출하는 연구는 아직 미비한 실정이다. 본 논문에서는 지능화된 컴퓨팅 기술을 선도하기 위해 GPS 정보를 시스템에 도입하여 도로정보를 분석하는 알고리즘을 제안한다. 제안하는 알고리즘은 수집된 차량의 GPS정보와 구간 이동 정보 판정 방식을 이용하여 지도를 분석하여 실제 사람이 수집하는 도로의 정보를 컴퓨터가 스스로 판단하게 하는 알고리즘이다. 실험결과 데이터를 활용하여 도로정보를 분석하는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 또한 분석된 데이터가 소규모 일 때는 낮은 신뢰성을 가지는 단점이 존재하였으나, 대규모 일 때는 높은 신뢰성을 가지는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. Customized services for individuals in analysis of recently collected GPS information have been investigated in various aspects. As the size of collected GPS data gets larger, a variety of services is being released accordingly. Existing studies, however, are limited to presenting service models for users while there is little study on developing intelligent computing technologies in the introduction of GPS information into the system. This study suggests an algorithm to analyze traffic information by introducing GPS information into the system in order to take the lead among intelligent computing technologies. The suggested algorithm analyzes a map by means of the collected vehicle GPS information and sectional traffic information interpretation method; thus, the computer judges the traffic information collected by humans. The experiment result shows that the traffic information was properly analyzed upon the utilization of the given data. Although a small quantity of analyzed data was less reliable, the system maintained high reliability as the data was sufficient.

공동주택의 단열형태별 선형열관류율 평가

본 연구는 외단열시스템 성능평가의 주요인자인 선형열관류율을 국제규격(ISO)에서 제시하고 있는 평가방법에 의거, 내단열시스템 대비 외단열시스템의 열성능에 대한 우수성을 정량적으로 파악하고, 향후 외단열시스템의 열성능 평가를 위한 기초자료로의 활용을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 공동주택의 대표적 열교부위인 3개 부위를 내단열과 외단열 시스템으로 설계하고, 각 부위별 단열형태별로 선형열관류율을 평가하였다. 그 결과, 외벽-발코니 슬라브 부위는 열교차단재 설치가 필수적인 것으로 분석되었으며, 열교차단재를 설치할 경우 외단열시스템이 내단열시스템보다 선형열관류율이 1/2 이상 줄어드는 것으로 나타났다. 측벽-발코니 부위와 같이 슬라브가 외부로 돌출되지 않는 구조에서는 외단열시스템을 적용할 경우, 선형열관류율이 거의 0인 것으로 나타났다. 내단열로 설계된 외벽-경계벽의 경우, 선형열관류율은 0.451W/m 로 내단열로 설계된 외벽-발코니 슬라브 등 열교가 있는 부위와 비슷한 값을 보이며, 외단열로 설치될 경우 이 또한 거의 0인 것으로 나타났다. 향후, 공동주택의 외단열시스템 도입 및 성능평가를 위해서는 국제기준을 적용한 국내 평가기준의 제도화마련이 필요하며, 특히 제도화 마련과정에서 선형열관류율 계산 인자 중의 하나인 벽체길이의 계산방법은 국가차원의 결정이 필요할 것으로 판단된다. In this study, thermal transmittance which is a parameter to measure the thermal performance was evaluated for an internal insulation versus an external insulation. Then the ISO regulation was applied to evaluate it, and the superiority of an external insulation was verified by the thermal transmittance values. The three zones of apartment housing were selected to evaluate the performance. (1) The junction of an outer wall and a protruded slab : If there is no a thermal bridge protection system, then the values are about same in the two insulation systems, so the protection system should certainly be installed. If it is installed, then the value for the external insulation is 2 times lower than internal system. (2) The junction of a side wall and a flat slab: The value is 0.509W/mK for the internal insulation and about zero for the external insulation. (3) The junction of an outer wall and a division wall: The value is 0.451W/mK for the internal insulation and also about zero for the external insulation. A domestic regulation that could evaluate a thermal transmittance has to be established by applying the ISO regulation for the evaluation of external insulation systems in apartment housing in the future. Additionally, the government must decide which length should be used for the national standard.
