Objectives : This study aimed to evaluate the single oral dose toxicity of Seonpyejeongcheon-tang (SJT) in male and female Sprague-Dawley rats. Methods : In this single oral toxicity study, rats were orally administrated in a single dose of 0 or 5,000 mg/kg SJT. There were 7 rats in each group. After single administration, mortality, clinical signs, body weight changes and gross pathological findings were observed for 14 days. Organ weight, clinical chemistry and hematology were tested after 14 days. Results : There was no mortality or other clinical signs for 14 days. There were also no significant differences in body weight, organ weights, hematological and serum chemical parameters between the SJT and control groups. Conclusions : The results obtained in this study suggest that the 50% lethal dose of SJT is over 5,000 mg/kg, so this finding can be expected to provide scientific evidence for the safety of SJT.

In space exploration, spectroscopic observation is useful for understanding objects' composition and physical properties. There are various methods for analyzing spectral data, and there are differences depending on the object and the wavelength. This paper introduces a method for analyzing visible & nearinfrared (VNIR) spectral data, which is mainly applied in lunar exploration. The main analysis methods include false color ratio image processing, reflectance pattern analysis, integrated band depth (IBD) processing, and continuum removal as preprocessing before analysis. These spectroscopic analysis methods help to understand the mineral properties of the lunar surface in the VNIR region and can be applied to other celestial bodies such as Mars.

A method for measuring the accuracy of rotating objects was studied. Rotating axis errors are significant; such as the spindle error of a manufacturing machine which results in the surface roughness of machined work pieces. Three capacitance type displacement sensors were used to measure the rotating master ball position. The sensors were mounted to the three orthogonal points on the spindle axis. The measurement data were analyzed and shown for rotating spindle accuracy, not only for average roundness error but also for spindle volumetric positional error during the revolutions. This method is simple and economical for industrial field use with regular inspection of rotating machines using portable equipment. Measuring and analyzing time using this method takes only a couple of hours. This method can also measure microscopic amplitude and 3-dimensional direction of vibrating objects.

Korean companies have two ways that can secure technology. The first is the way how companies develop necessary technology in the company inside. Another is the way how companies secure necessary technology through international Joint venture. In technical environment, prompt technology development is important competition Source. Therefore, international Joint Ventures has important meaning than research & development in the company inside. companies can introduce necessary technology through international joint venture more quickly.However, it isn’t for companies to be able to secure necessary technology automatically even if they concluded international joint ventures. the reason is due to a characteristic of knowledge. Knowledge could be explicit or tacit. explicit knowledge could be easily coded and transferred. tacit knowledge is encoded knowledge and resides in the firm’s system. tacit knowledge is difficult to interpret and transfer from one firm to another. therefore It is harder to move the tacit knowledge more than explicit knowledge in international joint ventures. Strict relation becomes a prerequisite in technology transfer between partners in international joint ventures. In spite of these recognitions, an interaction effect of a partner relationship strength and a technical characteristic has on a joint venture’s performance isn’t still clear.As for this study was performed under study background. The objective of this paper is to examine how the extent of inter-firm tacit knowledge transfer affects firm performance. In general, we empirically provide some evidence that inter-firm relationship strength influences the extent of tacit knowledge transfer, and the tacit knowledge obtained form partner firms affects firm performance.
