Recently, due to the rapid industrialization and urbanization, a great number of infrastructure and population were concentrated in urban areas. These changes have resulted in unprecedent runoff characteristics in urban basins, and the increase in impermeable areas leads to the growth of the runoff and the peak flow rate. Although many cities have made a lot of efforts to check and expand the stormwater network, the flash flood or the local torrential rain caused a growing number of casualty and property damage. This study analyzed the stormwater passage rate in a target area using SWMM. By incorporating the flow quantity surpassing the storm sewer capacity, a 2D inland flooding analysis model was applied to route the inundated area and velocity.

HR plates (Hot-Rolled Plate) are produced by straightening hot-rolled steel coil with a primary objective to substitute for thick plates, thereby avoiding a number of difficulties encountered in the production and shipment of thick plates as well as relieving supply problems. In order to evaluate the applicability of HR plates to architectural structures under the KBC 2009 steel design provisions, a total of four full-scale welded built-up H-beams with simple supports were tested together with associated key material testing. The full-scale beam specimens were designed into two categories, or flexural-dominated versus shear-dominated such that both bending and shear strength could be effectively evaluated. The materials test showed that HR plates satisfy both the tensile mechanical properties and the CVN toughness required according to the current material specification. Both the flexural- and shear-dominated specimens exhibited sufficient strengths exceeding the nominal strengths specified in the KBC 2009, thus confirming the applicability of HR plates.
SM490TMC 극후판재 120mm의 소재특성에 관한 연구

본 연구에서는 SM490TMC(120mm) 강재를 대상으로 7종의 각종 시험을 실시하여 소재특성을 KS 및 강구조설계기준과 비교하였으며, 강도의 두께에 대한 균질성을 검토하였다. 각종 시험결과, SM490TMC(120mm) 강재는 KS를 만족하는 것으로 나타났다. 특히 인장시험결과, 1/4지점 및 전두께에 대한 기계적 성질은 KS 및 강구조설계기준을 만족하며, 2/4지점 및 두께방향에 대한 기계적 성질은 1/4지점의 85%이상으로 나타났다. 따라서 SM490TMC(120mm) 강재는 강도의 균질성 기준을 만족하며, 120mm의 경우에도 강구조설계기준에서와 같이 항복강도를 점감하지 않아도 되는 것으로 판단된다. Seven types of tests were conducted to experimentally evaluate the material properties of ultral-thick (or 120mm-thick) SM490TMC plate. The investigation of through-thickness properties was among the most significant considerations. All chemical and mechanical test results showed the through-thickness homogeneity as required and conformed to the KS(Korean industrial Standards), although the thickness was 1.5 times thicker than the thickness limit (80mm) imposed by Steel Structure Design Code. No reduction in the yield strength of 120mm-thick SM490TMC plate is recommended for design.

Purpose: The screws used in agricultural machinery are worn by friction due to relative motion during prolonged high-pressure use. The wear can be categorized as abrasion and cohesion wear, which shorten the performance and life of agricultural machinery and eventually lead to failure. This study focused on determining the wear rate of the screw surface in dehydration machinery. Methods: We sought to select the optimal material by comparing and analyzing the wear characteristics of three types of materials: STS, SCM, and SNCM. The wear test was performed under variable load, dry, and wet conditions on a total of 3 samples using a pin-on-disk wear tester. The friction coefficient, amount of wear, and specific wear rate were obtained from the test results and compared for the three materials. Results: The friction surface was imaged using SEM. It was found that the specific wear rate of STS was the highest under all load conditions in both dry and wet environments. The specific abrasion rate of SCM was similar to that of SNCM in a dry environment but the lowest in a wet environment, revealing its excellent abrasion resistance. Conclusion: A material with high wear resistance was identified by analyzing the wear characteristics of three types of materials. Moreover, its use increased durability of the screw, a critical component in dewatering machines.
고효율 DC-DC 컨버터와 인버터에 의한 연료전지발전용 전력변환기 연구

본 논문에서는 고효율 DC-DC 컨버터와 인버터에 의한 연료전지발전용 전력변환기를 제안한다. 제안하는 전력변환기는 Boost Converter와 LLC공진 컨버터의 2 stage 조합으로 구성되어 있다. 제안하는 전력변환기의 동작을 분석하기 위해 PSCAD/EMTDC를 이용하여 연료전지의 출력 동특성을 나타내는 모델과 제안하는 전력변환기의 모델을 개발하였다. 시뮬레이션모델의 검증을 위해 하드웨어장치를 구성하여 실험을 실시하였다. 제안하는 전력변환기는 정격출력에서 저전압특성을 갖는 연료전지를 전력계통에 고효율로 연계하는데 유용 할 것으로 보인다.

Afferent loop syndrome is an uncommon complication of a gastrectomy and Billroth Ⅱ reconstruction. It may cause symtoms at any time from the first postoperative day to many years after the gastrectomy. Afferent loop syndrome is characterized by abdominal pain, vomiting and elevation of serum amylase. Thus, it is difficult to differentiate afferent loop syndrome from other cause of acute pancreatitis. However, the history of gastrectomy can be an important clue for diagnosing afferent loop syndrome. We experienced one case of chronic afferent loop syndrome with acute pancreatitis. After appropriate management, the abdominal pain disappeared and serum amylase level decreased. We report this case with a review of relevant literatures.
위장관의 원발성 B 세포 악성 림프종의 재분류와 bcl-2, cyclin D1, bcl-6 및 p53 발현의 의미

Background and Objectives : In recent years, the REAL (Revised European American Lymphoma) classification provided a new category of MALT (mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue) lymphoma and mantle cell lymphoma in B cell lymphomas. We have analyzed the expression of bcl-2, cyclin D1, bcl-6 and p53 and correlated with the subtypes and histologic grade of primary gastrointestinal B cell lymphoma. Also we investigated the usefulness of immunophenotypic features in diagnosis of low grade B cell lymphoma. Materials and Methods : Twenty-two cases of primary gastrointestinal B cell lymphoma were recategorized in low grade MALT lymphoma, low/high grade MALT lymphoma, high grade MALT lymphoma, and diffuse large cell lymphoma according to the morphological findings. We investigated the expression of bcl-2, cyclin D1, bcl-6 and p53 by immunohistochemical method. Results : The bcl-2 protein expression was higher in the low grade MALT lymphoma than in the high grade lymphoma. The cyclin D1 protein expression was negative in all cases. The expression of bcl-6 and p53 protein was negative in all low grade MALT lymphoma. Conclusion : The results suggest that we can differentiate the low grade lymphoma from the high grade lymphoma by immunohistochemical staining for bcl-2, bcl-6, and p53 protien.
