      • 맥파전달속도(PWV)와 말초체열분포(DITI)와의 관계 연구

        Objective: The purpose of this study is to identify relationship between the PWV and the temperature difference. Methods: When it comes to senile patients who suffer from cold limbs, there is need to see whether or not the patient's low temperature of the limbs is do to arteriosclerosis. The Pulse Wave Velocity(PWV) is a non-invasive method measuring the artery's rigidness. And the Digital Infrared Thermal Imaging(D.I.T.I) is a non-invasive method to see the body's thermal change. Research on the interrelationship of the artery's rigidness and body's thermal distribution was done by using these two tests. The subjects of this research were patients between the age 40~65 who have done both the D.I.T.I and PWV in March 2005~ September 2005. They had to have no history of diabetes, coronary illnesses or cerebrovascular diseases which are diseases that can effect the outcome of the PVW, nor history of spondylopathy or dermatosis which can effect the outcome of the D.I.T.I. Results: The results were as follows. 1. There was a significant interrelationship between the right wrist-ankle PWV and the temperature difference of the right wrist-palm. 2. There was a significant interrelationship between the left wrist-ankle PWV and the temperature difference of the left wrist-palm. 3. There was no significant interrelationship between the right wrist-ankle PWV and the temperature difference of the right thigh-dorsum of foot. 4. There was no significant interrelationship between the left wrist-ankle PWV and the temperature difference of the left thigh-dorsum of foot. 5. The right ABI showed no significant interrelationship between the temperature difference of the right wrist-palm and the right thigh-dorsum of foot. 6. The left ABI showed no significant interrelationship between the temperature difference of the left wrist-palm and the left thigh-dorsum of foot. Conclusion: The study shows that there was a significant interrelationship between wrist-ankle PWV and the temperature difference of wrist-palm.

        뇌교경색으로 인한 현훈 및 복시증상에 조간익뇌탕(助肝益腦湯)을 투여한 치험 1례

        Pontine infarction presents variable neurologic deficits because the pons is a very complicated organ with cranial nerve nuclei and several fiber tracts. A 65 year-old women with dizzness, ataxia and diplopia because of Pontine infarction was admitted at Wonkwang University Jeonju Oriental Medicine Hospital. She was treated with the herbal medicine Joganiknoe-tang(助肝益腦湯) and with acupunture. Improvement in these symptoms was observed, so the specifics of the process in which the patient was treated are here described. Results suggest that Joganiknoe-tang(助肝益腦湯) is an effective treatment for symptoms of pontine infarction.

        노인주택 면적 계획을 위한 예비노인층 및 노인층의 선호주거특성과 공간사용특성

        The purpose of the study is to investigate the characteristics of the elderly housing preference and spatial usage to plan floor space of the elderly housing by the respondents of the ages 50 to 79. Based on the result of the study, it is suggested that the elderly housing should be located in regards to social environmental factors rather than natural environmental ones. There are differences in preference for the space planning of housing units such as the number of rooms and bathrooms, and floor space depending on income level, so the housing should be differently planned to accept the difference of preference. On the other hand, there is not notable difference in furniture preference for each space. In the characteristics of spatial usage according to behaviors, high-income respondents demonstrate the characteristics of spatial usage in accordance with a western lifestyle. Thus, behaviors such as sleeping, watching TV, resting, reading, conversation, and receiving guests, occur using such things as beds, sofas, and dinning tables. On the other hand low-income respondents show a mixed western and traditional lifestyle. Thus many behaviors are done on the floor of bedroom and livingroom in addition to using furniture such as a sofa and chairs. Therefore, the way of spatial usage has to be reflected in the floor space planning. At least floor space of the provided rooms should be planned to accommodate the behavior of the elderly even though all of the rooms preferred can not be provided.

        공동주택 거주자의 에너지 사용행태 및 에너지 절약의식 분석

        The purpose of the study was to investigate the characteristics of energy use behaviors and energy saving consciousness of multi-family housing residents. The energy referred to in this study includes electric energy, heating energy and water usage. This study was conducted from a survey carried out in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do. The results of the study are as follows: First, among the survey questions, the only positive energy saving behaviors shown by the occupants was turning off the lights and the television, and in the use of kitchen appliances; it could therefore be concluded that, in general, energy saving attitude and consciousness were not sufficient to reduce energy consumption. Second, the results showed high mean scores for the behaviors which were easy to control, such as turning off lights and televisions, and low mean scores for the behaviors which required extra effort to completely cut off electricity energy such as pulling out the plugs of electronic appliances. Third, it was found that the occupants generally showed the tendency to save heating energy. However, in cases where the occupants were required to continuously and directly experience indoor temperatures, they expressed passive attitudes toward saving energy. Fourth, they showed wasteful attitudes toward water usage by leaving the tap running when taking showers and washing their faces. Fifth, while they showed a strong energy saving consciousness, they also showed a passive attitude about putting this into practice; there was therefore some gap between attitude and behavior. Lastly, among the socio-demographic factors, age and family lifecycle were very important factors affecting energy use and energy saving consciousness.

        분리된 고유공간을 이용한 잡음환경에 강인한 특징 정규화 기법

        본 논문에서는 잡음에 강인한 음성인식을 위하여 고유공간에 기반을 둔 새로운 특징 정규화 기법을 제안한다. 일반적으로 평균과 분산의 정규화 (MVN)는 켑스트럼 상에서 수행된다. 그러나 최근에 고유공간을 이용한 MVN기법이 소개되었고, 그 고유공간 정규화 기법에서는 하나의 고유공간을 이용하였다. 이 과정에는 켑스트럼 상의 특징 벡터를 선형 주성분 분석 (PCA)행렬을 통하여 고유공간으로 변환시킨 후 MVN을 수행하는 과정이 포함된다. 이 방법에서는 전체 39차의 특징분포를 하나의 고유공간으로 표현하였다. 그러나 이 기법의 경우 전체 특징 분포를 표현함에 세밀함이 떨어지기 때문에 더욱 세밀한 분포의 표현을 위해 본 논문에서는 static 특징, 1차 미분 계수, 2차 미분계수에 각각 유일하고 독립적인 분리된 고유공간을 적용하는 것을 제안하였다. 또한 고유공간에서 정규화 된 훈련 데이터를 이용하여 모델을 만든다. 마지막으로 훈련 데이터의 분포와 잡음환경에서의 테스트 데이터의 분포 특성의 차이를 줄이기 위해 켑스트럼 상에서의 회전 기법을 적용시킨다. 그 결과, 기본적인 고유공간 정규화 기법보다 향상된 성능을 얻을 수 있었다. We Propose a new feature normalization scheme based on eigenspace for achieving robust speech recognition. In general, mean and variance normalization (MVN) is Performed in cepstral domain. However, another MVN approach using eigenspace was recently introduced. in that the eigenspace normalization Procedure Performs normalization in a single eigenspace. This Procedure consists of linear PCA matrix feature transformation followed by mean and variance normalization of the transformed cepstral feature. In this method. 39 dimensional feature distribution is represented using only a single eigenspace. However it is observed to be insufficient to represent all data distribution using only a sin91e eigenvector. For more specific representation. we apply unique na independent eigenspaces to cepstra, delta and delta-delta cepstra respectively in this Paper. We also normalize training data in eigenspace and get the model from the normalized training data. Finally. a feature space rotation procedure is introduced to reduce the mismatch of training and test data distribution in noisy condition. As a result, we obtained a substantial recognition improvement over the basic eigenspace normalization.

        노인주택 면적계획을 위한 요소로서 행위면적 산출 연구

        The purpose of the study is to suggest the amount of space for each behavior according to the classification of behavior in the housing to plan the optimal floor space of the elderly housing. The method for calculating space for behavior begins with classifying behaviors, identifying them and then taking pictures of the model of elderly people who reproduce each behavior. Based on the pictures, body parts which are necessary for each behavior are assembled and the formula for behavioral space is created. The space for behavior is produced considering the body dimensions of Korean elderly in their sixty's as well as the furniture size and the psychological distance between people. 3D modeling is used to verify the result. Human behaviors can be classified into individual-related, housework-related, family-related, reception-related and other behaviors. These five behaviors are subdivided into more specific behaviors. The area for each specific behavior is calculated with the anthropometric data of the elderly, preferred furniture dimension and psychological area. As a result the required area for specific behaviors is as follows: the behavior of sleeping in a bed needs $4.3m^2$; the behavior of changing clothes on a chair, $1.7m^2$; the behavior of watching TV on the floor $1.3m^2$, the behavior of working and reading using a desk, $2.1m^2$, the behavior of exercise, $2.5m^2$; the behavior of showering on a chair, $1.3m^2$ and showering using a wheelchair, $1.9m^2$; the behavior of toileting using a wheelchair, $2.3m^2$; the behavior of washing up using a wheelchair, $1.9m^2$; the behavior of eating using a table for four persons, $4.4m^2$; the behavior of cooking and washing dishes, $0.9m^2$ per counter-top; the behavior of washing clothes using a washing machine, $0.9m^2$; the behavior of ironing on the floor $1.4m^2$; the behavior of reception(three persons) on the floor considering personal space, $4.0m^2$; the behavior of taking on and off shoes on a chair, $1.3m^2$. The result of the study is utilized as quantitative data to calculate optimal floor space for elderly housing. In addition, qualitative data such as characteristics of housing preference, spacial usage and storage capacity are necessary to produce the floor space which can provide convenient and safe living environment.

      • 냉부하검사(CST)로 살펴 본 원적외선 기능성 제품이 족부냉증에 미치는 영향 : A pilot study

        Purpose: We investigated the effect of far-infrared radiating products on cold hypersensitivity of lower limbs using CST. Methods: 7 patients with cold hypersensitivity of lower limbs were investigated in this study. Exclusive criteria was skin diseases, spinal nervous disease and external wounds. They were asked to answer the VAS of cold hypersensitivity at baseline and after 3 weeks. We measured temperature of lower limbs with Spectrum 9000 MB (Dorex Inc, USA). We performed cold stress test (CST) by 3 thermographic observation using DITI : 1st was taken after 15 minutes resting at $25^{\circ}C$, the 2nd was immediately taken after 1 minute soak in $20^{\circ}C$ water, the 3rd was taken at 15 minutes after soak. We performed 3 times of CST : 1st CST was perfomed at baseline, 2nd CST was perfomred after 1 week and just observation, 3rd CST was performed after 1 week using far-infrared radiating products (lasner, UMT, Korea). Results: After using products, temperature of foot incresed more than thigh area, but there was no significance. There was no statistical difference of VAS, change of temperature and CST between before and after using far-infrared radiating products. Conclusion: There was no statistical effect of far-infrared radiating products on change of temperature of lower limbs.
