        직접 대역 확산 시스템을 위한 톤 간섭 제거 알고리듬

        본 논문에서는 직접 대역 확산 (direct-sequence spreading spectrum) 시스템을 위한 주파수 영역 톤 간섭 (tone interference) 제거 알고리듬을 제안한다. 기존에 제안된 주파수 영역 톤 간섭 제거 기법들에서는 FFT (Fast Fourier Transform)를 이용하여 수신 신호를 주파수 영역 신호로 전환한 다음 간섭 신호를 제거하고 그 결과로 얻어진 주파수 영역신호를 IFFT (inverse FFT)를 이용하여 시간 영역 신호로 변환한 후 나머지 수신 과정을 수행한다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 간섭 신호 제거 기법은 주파수 영역으로 변환된 수신 신호에서 간섭 신호에 해당하는 주파수 영역 신호만을 추출하고 그 추출된 신호에 대한 시간 영역 신호를 생성하여 수신 신호에서 제거하는 방법을 사용한다. 따라서 기존의 주파수 영역 간섭 제거 기법들에서 요구되는 IFFT 수행에 필요한 하드웨어 복잡도 (hardware complexity)를 크게 줄일 수 있는 장점이 있다. In this paper, we propose a frequency-domain tone interference cancellation algorithm for direct-sequence spread spectrum systems. In the previously proposed frequency-domain interference cancellation algorithms, the interference signal is estimated and compensated in the frequency-domain and then, with IFFT (inverse Fourier transform), the compensated frequency-domain signal is transformed to the time domain signal for the remaining receiver operations. Unlike the previous works, the proposed algorithm does not requires IFFT and thus, the proposed algorithm not only shows the virtually identical performance but also requires lower hardware complexity compared to the previous works.

        The researcher presents humanities that understands, interprets, and leads technology as a new methodology that will replace digital humanities. This challenging humanities research methodology, which can be conceptualized as “Humanities engineering,” declares the beginning of the 3.0 humanities era. If traditional humanities was humanities 1.0, digital humanities, which actively attempted to recruit IT as a research methodology is 2.0, and humanities engineering that aims to view humans and society from a deeper and broader viewpoint than technology by taking the help of technology is humanities 3.0. This process is organized in the following table . The ancient Greeks did not distinguish between art and technology. They used and applied the term “technology”to art and practice, that is, piece and stonemason. However, in this era, humanities has reached the highest level of achievement. As technology, which was a mere shadow of the arts so far, created a new form called information that is comparable to art, the meaning of the human, who is the creator of art, user of technology, consumer of information, and producer of knowledge, became more important. Now, humanities should interpret not only art but also technology. If the function of interpreting symbols has not been abandoned, the symbol of technology should also be the subject of humanities research. Art and technology are fraternal twins. Although both use tools, they are different in terms of form, content, function, efficiency, value, and orientation.

        ECMA 표준에 기반한 Multi-Gigabit Packet 수신기 알고리듬 설계 및 구현

        60 ㎓ 대역에서 multi-gigabit 전송률을 달성하기 위하여 제안된 ECMA 표준은 프리앰블과 데이터 부분으로 구성된 버스트 (burst)를 통하여 데이터 송수신을 수행하며 프리앰블과 데이터 부분에서는 동작 모드에 따라 다양한 변조 방식이 사용된다. 따라서 다양한 변조 방식을 지원할 수 있는 수신 알고리듬의 설계가 필수적이다. 본 논문에서는 ECMA 표준 중 DBPSK (Differential Binary Phase Shift Keying)와 DQPSK (Differential Quadrature Phase Shift Keying) 그리고 OOK (On-Off Keying) 변조 방식을 지원하는 multi-gigabit packet 송수신 시스템을 위한 수신 알고리듬을 설계하였다. 설계된 수신 알고리듬은 동일한 구조 및 동작 방식을 통하여 고려한 모든 변조 방식들을 지원할 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 하드웨어 구현 복잡도가 낮은 장점을 지닌다. In this paper, we propose the receiver algorithms suitable for the ECMA standard proposed for multi-gigabit packet transmission in 60 ㎓ band. In the ECMA standard, various modulation schemes are used for system flexibility. Hence, it is crucial to develop receiver algorithms supporting various modulation schemes with an uniform hardware structure. In this paper, we propose the receiver algorithms supporting DBPSK, DQPSK and OOK modulation schemes simultaneously. The proposed algorithms are not only hardware efficient but also support various modulation schemes with an uniform hardware structure.

        기술편집시대 매체미학의 제문제(1) : 투명화, 신뢰화, 재매개를 중심으로

        This thesis studies the change in artistry brought about by the dynamic relationship between technology and art. Among the characteristics of <Technical Editing Art>, this study aims to establish the theory of media aesthetics in the era of technological editing, focusing on ‘transparency’, ‘trust’ and ‘remediation’ caused by the immateriality of tools and texts. The transparency of the subject does not mean that the subject is concealed, but refers to the unity state of beings that do not feel the difference between the subject of the material space and the subject of the non-material space. Recognizing the transparency of the subject is a new perspective on the relationship between humans and tools in the post-human era. If it evolves to the stage of mutual transformation, it goes beyond simple immersion and enters the process of unity. In this process, the distinction between the subject and the tool itself becomes transparent, and the post-human era of the half-human period arrives. The trust of the network-space is the trust in the relationship and connection between the subject-object-space. The starting point of relationships and connections begins with a transparent subject, and the method by which this subject measures the trust of content (including knowledge and information) is ‘knowledge about knowledge’, or ‘metaknowledge’. Meta-knowledge is a virtual device that gives order (trust) to knowledge, and is learned through the sequence-persistence-frequency of connections, and includes the level of search algorithm, the arrangement and distance of the screen, and quantified interest and empathy. And it is the network-space that creates and controls this virtual device. The remediation of the artistic conception is “to negate the existing artistic conception and form and attempt to convert the perception into a new idea.” Art that was familiar and customary is suddenly unfamiliar at some point. In the category of remediation of the idea of art, not only the concept of art but also the mechanism of creation and enjoyment is included, and now we must start preparing to meet an unfamiliar art that we have never experienced before. If the creative editors of technical editing art find art forms corresponding to technological development and work on art creation with a consciousness corresponding to technology, a new art genre comparable to that of a 20th century film will soon emerge. <Techediting arts> will be a characteristic art trend of digital media aesthetics that directs avant-garde artistic movements and a series of flows.

        패러다임 쉬프트(Paradigm Shift)와 소설의 운명

        지금까지 문예 창작은 작가 개인의 상상력과 독창성에 의존하기 때문에 이론화가 힘든 비체계적이고 심미적인 경험의 영역이라고 인식되어 왔다. 그러나 컴퓨터 테크놀로지의 발달과 함께 서사 창작 과정이 DB화 규칙화 패턴화 추출화의 단계로 공식화할 수 있게 됨으로써 최근에는 창작과정을 자동화할 수 있는 기술적 토대가 마련되었다. 기왕의 이야기들이 일정한 규칙에 따라 데이터로 구축되고 구축된 데이터베이스에서 패턴이 추출된 후 일정한 알고리즘에 따라 서사구조로 짜여 가는 일련의 과정이 가능해진 것이다. 기술적 진보는 이미 시작되었다. 독창과 창의의 산물이라고 여겨졌던 상상력이 정량화 계측화될 수 있느냐 없느냐의 판단은 DB를 구축하는 규칙이 얼마나 정교하고 합목적적이냐에 달려있다. 규칙이 정교하면 정교할수록 신뢰성 높은 패턴들이 생성될 것이고, 그것을 화소로 하여 확장되고 추출되어지는 서사구조의 스토리벨류도 당연히 높아질 것이기 때문이다. 지금까지 아날로그 방식으로 해왔던 기억의 축적을 DB 구축이라는 디지털방식으로 전환하면서 새로운 차원의 스토리텔링이 가능해졌다. 데이터베이스의 디렉토리 구조가 깊이(Depth)를 한 눈에 요약하고 시각화해줄 수 있으며 계층과 계열의 자유로운 이동이 가능하다는 것을 생각해보면 문예창작은 이제 혁명적인 패러다임 전환기를 맞이하고 있다. 『지옥설계도』에서 이인화는 ‘소설’이라는 관습적 서사 양식에 대한 공격과 수비를 노련하게 수행하면서, 소설의 운명에 대한 흥미로운 메타포로 조직해냈다. 이 논문은 『지옥설계도』를 통해 이인화가 새롭게 제시한 창작방법론을 〈싱크로율의 미학〉이라 특징짓고, 그 저변에 깔린 정치적 함의를 분석해 봄으로써, ‘소설의 시대’에서 ‘이야기의 시대’로 넘어가는 패러다임 쉬프트(Paradigm Shift)를 검토해보는데 목적이 있다. 그가 문학공간으로 돌아온 이유는 이인화가 소설가가 아니라 이야기꾼이기 때문이다. 21세기에도 소설은 여전히 그 명칭을 유지할 것이며 서사예술로서의 유효성을 상실하지 않을 것이며, 다만 이야기의 전달 방식이 바뀔 것이다.         포스트휴먼시대, ‘지식’과 ‘지식화’ 담론 연구

        본 논문은 포스트휴먼시대 지식과 지식화에 비인간주체의 등장이 어떤 변화를 가져올 것인지에 대한 문제를 ‘지식알고리즘의 변화’와 ‘학문생태계의 재구조화’라는 측면에서 고찰해 보고, 비인간주체와의 협업이 피할 수 없는 지식화의 새로운 방식이라면 인간주체는 어떤 역할을 담당해야 하는지를 살펴봄으로써, 기술과 분명하게 구분되는 지식의 담지자로서 인간주체의 합목적성을 규명해 볼 목적으로 쓰였다. 기억과 기록은 수천 년 동안 주체/객체, 인간/도구, 의식/무의식, 유동/고정의 대립 관계 속에서도 변증법적인 발전을 이룩해 내었다. 컴퓨터라는 비인간 도구를 수단으로 사용하는 비인간주체(AI)의 등장은 지식구조화의 기회이며 동시에 위기이다. 디지털 기억은 우리에게 지식을 기억하는 것이 아니라 상기시켜 준다. 소크라테스의 우려대로 지혜의 외양만을 탐닉할지, 아니면 지혜의 본질에 다다를 수 있을지는 전적으로 인간주체가 디지털 기억을 다루는 방식에 달려있다. ‘저장’과 ‘검색’은 비인간주체에게 맡기고 인간이 가장 잘할 수 있는 ‘상상’과 ‘창의’의 방식을 지식화의 네 단계에 활용하여야한다. 수집, 편집, 확산, 활용의 전 과정에 분명한 목적과 방향을 설정하는 노력이야말로 인간이 수단이 아니라 목적임을 분명하게 하는 일이다. 대학의 기업화, 지식의 사유화, 인문 전통의 약화, 대체 공간의 등장 등 대학이 처한 위기 상황 속에서 근대적 지식 공간이 해체되고 교수-학생-대학의 학문공동체가 붕괴되고 있다. 근대는 대학이라는 공룡을 만들어냈지만, 포스트휴먼시대 우리는 이제 그 공룡의 시대가 저물고 있음을 목도하고 있다. 지식과 지식화 모두에 특이점이 찾아왔고, 기존의 패러다임으로는 새로 발견되는 현상들에 대해 이해하고 해석하고 해결할 수 없다는 공감이 지식인들 사이에서 점점 확산되고 있다. 새로운 학문생태계의 출발은 기존의 학문공동체가 재구조화되면서부터일 텐데, 그 징후는 인간주체와 비인간주체의 협업이 만들어 내고 있는 새로운 지식공동체 [SNE.]에서 이미 시작되었다. 교육은 어느 시대를 막론하고 필요했고 지식인은 기술의 발전 속에서도 살아남았다. 그러나 이는 지식화 기술과 지식알고리즘의 변화를 ‘이해하고’ ‘해석하고’ ‘선도해야’ 한다는 전제가 충족될 때만 가능하다. 지식인과 학문공동체, 그리고 인간주체와 비인간주체의 협업으로 구성되는 미래 지식 생태계의 운명이 여기에 달려있다. This paper considers the question of what changes the emergence of non-human subjects will bring to knowledge and knowledgeization in the post-human era in terms of “change of knowledge algorithm” and “restructure of the academic ecosystem,” and examines what role human subjects should play if collaboration with non-human subjects is an unavoidable new way of knowledgeization. As a master of knowledge that is clearly distinguished from technology, it was written with the aim of finding out the relevance of human subjects. For thousands of years, memories and records have made dialectical progress in the conflict between subject/object, human/tool, consciousness/unconsciousness, and fluid/fixedness. The emergence of non-human entities (AI), which use non-human tools called computers as a means, is an opportunity for knowledge restructuring and at the same time a crisis. Digital memory reminds us of knowledge, not of it. Whether one indulges only in the appearance of wisdom, as Socrates fears, or can reach the essence of wisdom depends entirely on the way the human subject deals with digital memory. “Save” and “Search” should be left to non-human subjects and the methods of “imagination” and “creative” that humans can do best should be used in four stages of intellectualization. Efforts to set a clear purpose and direction in the entire process of collection, editing, diffusion and utilization are what makes it clear that human beings are not means but purposes. The modern knowledge space is being dismantled and the professor-student-college academic community is collapsing amid the crisis facing the university, including the commercialization of universities, privatization of knowledge, weakening of humanities traditions and the emergence of alternative spaces. Modern times created a dinosaur called University, and in the post-human era we are now witnessing the end of the dinosaur era. There has been a singularity in both knowledge and knowledge, and there is growing empathy among intellectuals that the existing paradigm cannot understand, interpret and solve newly discovered phenomena. The start of the new academic ecosystem would have been from the restructuring of the existing academic community, which has already begun in the SNE. Education was necessary for any age, and intellectuals survived the development of technology. What should be kept in mind, however, is the premise that changes in intellectualization technology and knowledge algorithms should be “understood,” “interpreted” and “advanced.” This is where the fate of the academic ecosystem consists of the collaboration of intellectuals and academic communities, as well as human and nonhuman entities.

        인터넷 연재소설의 상호 소통 방식 : 작가의 태도와 독자의 반응을 중심으로
