To improve the etch rate of $Si_3N_4$ thin film, $H_2SiF_6$ is added to increase etching rate by more than two times. $SiO_3H_2$ is gradually added to obtain a selectivity of 170: 1 at 600 ppm. Moreover, when $SiO_3H_2$ is added, the etching rate of the $SiO_2$ thin film increases in proportion to the radius of the wafer. In $Si_3N_4$ thin film, there is no difference in the etching rate according to the position. However, in the $SiO_2$ thin film, the etching rate increases in proportion to the radius. At the center of the wafer, the re-growth phenomenon is confirmed at a specific concentration or above. The difference in etch rates of $SiO_2$ thin films and the reason for regrowth at these positions are interpreted as the result of the flow rate of the chemical solution replaced with fresh solution.

A bipolar DC distribution system suffers from an imbalance in voltages when asymmetric loads are connected at the outputs. Dedicated voltage balancers are required to address the imbalance in bipolar voltage levels. However, additional components eventually increase the cost and decrease the efficiency and power density of the system. Therefore, to deal with the imbalance in output voltages without adding any extra components, this study presents a coupled inductor-based voltage balancing technique with a dual-output CLL resonant converter. The proposed coupled inductor does not require extra magnetic components to balance the output voltages because it is the result of resonant inductors of the CLL tank circuit. It can also avoid complex control schemes applied to voltage balancing. Moreover, with the proposed coupled inductor, the CLL converter acquires good features including zero voltage and zero current switching. Detailed analysis of the proposed coupled inductor is presented with different load conditions. A 3.6-kW hardware prototype was built and tested to validate the performance of the proposed coupled inductor-based voltage balancing technique.

The light extinction characteristics due to the soot particles in exhaust gas and the albedo change due to the soot deposition has been studies using a co-flow burner, ASTM burners and a smoke generator. The index of refraction of soot particle emitted from both diffusion flames and the smoke generator did not show the strong dependency of wavelength. The albedo change due to the soot deposition did not show the meaningful dependency of wavelength either. The Rayleigh limit seem to be valid on both cases.
Perception of amplitude-modulated noise from wind turbines

Wind turbine noise is generally lower than that from other environmental noise sources such as road and railway noise. Nevertheless, some residents living more than 1km away from wind turbines have claimed that they suffer sleep disturbance due to wind turbine noise. Several researchers have maintained that residents near a wind farm may perceive large amplitude modulation of wind turbine noise at night, and this amplitude modulation is the main cause of the noise annoyance. However, to date only few studies exist on the prediction of the amplitude modulation of wind turbine noise. Thus, this study predicts amplitude modulated noise generated from a generic 2.5MW wind turbine. Semi-empirical noise models are employed to predict the modulation depth and the overall sound pressure level of the wind turbine noise. The result shows that the amplitude modulation is observed regardless of atmospheric stability, but the modulation depth in a stable atmosphere is 1~3dB higher than that in an unstable atmosphere near the plane of rotation where the blades move downward. Moreover, using the result of the noise prediction, this study estimates the maximum perceptible distance of the wind turbine noise cause by amplitude modulation. The result indicates that the wind turbine noise can be perceived at a distance of up to 1600m in the range of about 30~60 degree from the on axis in a extremely low background noise environment.

무선 통신 기술과 컴퓨터망의 빠른 발전으로 인해서, 개인의 이동성에 대한 필요성과 관심이 고조되고 있다. 원격 통신(telecommunication) 분야에서의 개인 이동성 지원을 위한 노력으로, PCN(Personal Communication Network)와 UPT(Universal Personal Telecommunications) 서비스의 발전을 가져왔다. 한편, 인터넷에서의 이동 서비스는 Mobile IP와 같은 호스트 이동성에 주로 초점이 맞추어져 왔으며, 상대적으로 개인 이동성은 배제 되어 왔다. 본 논문에서는, 망의 물리 계층으로 부터 사상된 가상적인 망을 도입하였다. 이러한 가상의 네트워크를 “에이전트 네트워크(Agent Network)”라 부르며, 인터넷상에서 개인 이동성 지원을 위해서 제안하게 되었다. 에이전트 네트워크 구축을 위해서는 이동 에이전트(Mobile Agent)기술이 도입되었다. 에이전트 엔진은 Java로 구현되며 Java applet의 한계를 보안한 “개인 이동 에이전트/서번트(Personal Mobile Agent/Servant)구조”를 제안하며, 개인 이동성 지원을 위해서 에이전트 네트워크를 기반으로 한 “개인 이동 에이전트 복제(PMAC : Personal Mobile Agent Clone)”와 “에이전트 식별자(Agent Identifier)”를 제시한다.
인지언어학 방법론을 통한 중국어 수사법 雙關의 의미 구성과정 분석

In this paper, I have studied the process of constructing the meaning of the Chinese pun using the cognitive - semantic methodology. Chinese rhetoric researchers distinguished two meanings that make up the dual structure of the pun while focusing only on its duality. In addition, I have distinguished these two meanings into foreground and background, or expression meaning and utterance meaning, by using the methodology presented in cognitive semantics. I have focused on finding the cognitive asymmetry between the two meanings and the dynamic process of meaning composition. Cognitive asymmetry is based on the prototype theory of cognitive linguistics and is applied to the analysis of the semantic structure of the pun. Through this, it was confirmed that the meaning of the pun is revealed as cognitive conspicuousness through this asymmetry. In addition, I have confirmed that the meaning of pun is not fixed but composed in context. This paper also analyzes the concrete process of constructing the meaning of the pun through the conceptual integrated network of conceptual blending theory.
