This study was performed to investigate the freshness and nutritive components of eggs from Incheon area. The eggs of 64 brands collected from 7 hypermarkets and 6 brands collected from farms were examined to test the Haugh unit (HU), egg yolk index and specific gravity. HU and specific gravity were higher in farm eggs than in hypermarket eggs (P<0.05), and there was no difference in the egg yolk index. Among hypermarket eggs, HU and egg yolk index were higher in the graded eggs than in non-graded eggs (P<0.05), and specific gravity was not different between them. HU and egg yolk index of the eggs collected in March were higher than those in August (P<0.05). To monitor the bacterial contamination, total coliforms, total bacterial counts (TBC) and Salmonella enteritidis were examined. Salmonella enteritidis and total coliforms were not detected from all eggs. TBC of farm eggs were less than 101 CFU/mL in all samples and TBC of hypermarket eggs were less than 101 CFU/mL in 187 samples, 101∼102 CFU/mL in 3 samples and 103∼104 CFU/mL in 2 samples, respectively. Antimicrobial residues were not detected from all eggs tested. The vitamin E contents in the vitamin E enriched eggs from 6 brands hypermarket were 1.98∼22.96 mg/yolk100 g (14.04±8.81 mg/yolk100g), and those of 5 brands among them were higher than the average of ordinary eggs. In one brand egg, vitamin E content was lower than the average of ordinary eggs. The vitamin E contents of ordinary eggs were 1.75∼16.36 mg/yolk100 g (average 5.57±2.76 mg/yolk100 g) and there were no price differences between vitamin E enriched eggs and ordinary eggs. In the contents of vitamin E, docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) and cholesterol, there were no significant differences according to the price. These results suggests that egg production, distribution, and management system should be improved for supplying fresh eggs to consumers at reasonable prices.
FDTD 법과 Pad 근사법을 이용한 마이크로 스트립 기판 위의 유전체 공진기 해석

Three-Dimensional FDTD method is applied to analyze the dielectric resonator coupled with two microstrip lines. We model accurately the curved surface using Noriaki model. The frequency resolution is 106.46 MHz by the conventional FFT However it is not sufficient for determining its resonant frequency. So we introduce the Pad approximation and Stoer-Bulirsch method in order to have the high frequency resolution degree, 1.00 MHz. All results are compared with the measured data. As a result, we acquire the very precise result through the Pad approximation. And sinusoidal wave is applied. From the plot of the electric and magnetic field distribution, it is shown that the resonant mode is TE$_{01{\delta}}$ mode. 두 개의 마이크로 스트립 선로를 이용하여 결합한 유전체 공진기를 유한 차분 시간 영역(FDTD)법을 적용하여 3차원 해석을 하였다. 유전체 공진기의 표면은 곡면으로서, Noriaki model을 이용하여 정확하게 모델링 하였다. 일반적인 FFT에 의해 106.46 MHz의 주파수 해상도를 얻었지만 공진 주파수를 결정할 수가 없다. 따라서 1.00 MHz의 높은 주파수 분해능을 갖기 위해서 Pad 근사법과 Stoer-Bulirsch법을 적용하고 측정치와 비교하였다. 그 결과 Pad 근사법을 통하여 매우 정확한 공진주파수를 얻었다. 그리고 정현파를 인가하여 전자계 분포를 도시하였으며, 공진 모드가 TE/sub 01δ/ 모드임을 알 수 있었다.
Design of a DMA Controller for Augmented Reality in Embedded System

증강현실은 실제 환경과 함께 가상 정보를 제공하며, 이러한 시스템을 위해 프로세서의 메모리 접근이 요구된다. 하지만 기술 발전에 따라 데이터의 양이 증가함으로써, 프로세서의 작업량 또한 증가하게 된다. 이를 해결하기 위해 임베디드 프로세서의 작업 부하를 감소시킬 수 있는 특정 모듈을 필요로 한다. 본 논문에서는 임베디드 프로세서 대신에 이미지를 출력하는 Direct Memory Acceass(DMA) 컨트롤러를 제안한다. 제안하는 DMA 컨트롤러를 Field Programmable Gate Array(FPGA)에 구현하고 Avalon Memory Mapped(Avalon-MM) 인터페이스를 기반으로 한 DMA 컨트롤러의 기능을 시연한다. 또한, DMA 컨트롤러를 Magnachip/Hynix 0.35um CMOS로 제작하고, 임베디드 시스템의 실현 가능성을 검증한다. An Augmented Reality(AR) provides virtual information with a real environment, and the processor needs to access the memory for the AR system. However, the processor has the heavy workload as the technology improvement leads to increase the size of data. We need a specific module to reduce the workload to overcome the limitation. In this paper, we propose a Direct Memory Access(DMA) controller displaying image instead of the processor. We implemented the proposed DMA controller on a Field Programmable Gate Array(FPGA) and demonstrated the functionality of the DMA controller based on an Avalon Memory Mapped(Avalon-MM) interface. Also, the DMA controller is fabricated by using Magnachip/Hynix 0.35um CMOS technology and verified the feasibility of the embedded system.

생체 조직은 세포 배열이나 조직 형태 등 다양한 차이에 의해 각각 고유의 전기적 특성을 가지며, 생물학적 변화가 일어나면 고유의 전기적 특성이 변한다. 본 연구는 방사선 피폭에 따른 생체 조직의 전기적 특성 변화를 측정하기 위한 선행연구로 측정 과정에서 방사선 피폭 우려가 있으므로, 실험자의 방사선 장애를 방지하기 위해 LabVIEW를 이용하여 자동제어 측정 시스템을 개발한 후 생체 조직의 특성을 평가하고자 하였다. 생체 조직의 전기적 특성 측정전·후 형태학적 변화를 관찰한 결과 조직 변화는 관찰되지 않았으며, 유사한 양상이었다. Impedance/Gain-phase analyzer로 생체 조직의 임피던스를 반복 측정한 결과 변동계수가 10% 미만으로 측정값은 재현성이 있었다. 주파수 변화에 따른 생체 조직의 전기적 특성 중에서 위상차 변화는 거의 없었으며, 조직은 저항성을 나타내었고, 임피던스 크기는 주파수에 비례하여 일정하게 감소하였다. 본 연구를 통해 생체 조직의 전기적 특성 변화를 측정할 수 있는 자동제어 시스템을 개발하였으며, 생체 조직의 전기적 특성을 이해할 수 있었다. Each biological tissue has endemic electrical characteristics owing to various differences such as those in cellular arrangement or organization form. The endemic electrical characteristics change when any biological change occurs. This work is a preliminary study surveying the changes in the electrical characteristics of biological tissue caused by radiation exposure. For protection aganinst radiation hazards, therefore the electrical characteristics of living tissue were evaluated after development of the automatic control measurement system using LabVIEW. No alteration of biological tissues was observed before and after measurement of the electrical characteristics, and the biblogical tissues exhibited similar patterns. Through repeated measurements using the impedance/gain-phase analyzer, the coefficient of variation was determined as within 10%. The reproducibility impedance phase difference in electrical characteristics of the biological tissue did not change, and the tissue had resistance. The absolute value of impedance decreased constantly in proportion to the frequency. It has become possible to understand the electrical characteristics of biological tissues through the measurements made possible by the use of the developed. automatic control system.
