        우울증의 자기 관리 방법

        Objectives : Depression disturbs the individual life from the loss of productivity to suicide. Furthermore the whole society is also influenced by depression in social and economic areas. Many scientific treatment methods are known to be effective in depression. But in reality more than half of patients with depression prefer self help treatment rather than medically based treatment. For the patients with mild depression and primary physicians, it is reasonable to provide the evidence based self care including self help or alternative treatment. This study is supported by the Korean Health 21 R&D Project for the Depression Center to establish the Korean treatment guideline for depression. Methods : The members of Depression Center including the authors attended the workshops where the methods of evidence based medicine such as literature search, quality evaluation of the articles, making the level of evidence were educated. The professional librarians helped the authors for get the searched articles. Among the total of 354 abstracts of systemic review and 300 abstracts of random controlled trials, 3 systemic reviews and 2 random controlled trials were the main structure of evaluation. Result : Among the 37 self care methods known to be effective for depression, 11 kinds of methods were worth of evaluation. The first step for the self care of mild depression is to use St. John's wort, exercise, bibliotherapy, and light therapy in depression during winter season. Acupuncture, negative ion therapy, massage, relaxation technique are known to be efective with evidence. Music therapy, hypnotherapy, and aromatherapy are known to be effective but until now the evidences is insufficient and further evaluations are needed. Conclusion : Among 11 listed self-care methods, several methods need more evidence especially in Korean situation. Exercise is the most recommendable evidence based self care method in Korea nowadays. St. John's wort is effective with evidence, but it is not the OTC drug in Korea, so it is not recommendable now. For the bibliotherapy, there is no book such as "Feeling Good" in Korea. Only the introductory book about depression is available. Publishing the self help book based upon cognitive behavioral approach or psychodynamic approach is needed. Light therapy is practiced in a few clinics, but not self-help style. Exposure to the sunlight is recommended in the level of commen sense. These self care methods are for the mild patient. Moderate to severe patients with depression should seek the professional treatment.

        쥐의 큰포식세포주에서 자가포식현상에 의한 Salmonella enterica serovar Typhimurium의 감염 조절

        자가포식현상(autophagy)은 세포 내 또는 세포 외의 스트레스나 영양분의 고갈, 그리고 병원체 감염에 의해 유도되는 기전으로, 병원균, 손상된 단백질이나 세포 소기관을 autophagosome으로 격리하여 리소좀(lysosome)과 융합하여 분해시키는 기전이다. Salmonella enterica serovar Typhimurium (S. Typhimurium)은 세포 내로 감염되는 세균으로 급성 위장염과 식중독을 야기한다. S. Typhimurium 감염 시 세포 내에서 자가포식현상이 유도되며 이는 감염을 제어하는데 중요하다는 연구 논문들을 통해 본 연구에서는 자가포식현상 유도제인 rapamycin으로 자가포식현상을 유도했을 때, S. Typhimurium의 감염을 조절할 수 있는지 알아보고자 하였다. 자가포식현상 유도제인 rapamycin과 저해제인 3-methyladenine(3-MA)를 각각 처리한 후 쥐의 큰포식세포주인 RAW 264.7 세포에 S. Typhimurium을 감염시켰다. rapamycin을 전처리한 후 S. Typhimurium을 감염시켰을 때, 세포 내에서 S. Typhimurium의 성장률이 감소한 반면 3-MA의 전처리는 S. Typhimurium의 성장을 촉진시켰다. 또한, RAW 264.7 세포에 rapamycin을 처리 후 감염시켰을 때, 자가포식현상 관련 단백질의 발현이 유의하게 증가하였다. Rapamycin에 의하여 유도된 자가포식현상이 활성산소종(reactive oxygen species, ROS)과 활성 산화질소종(nitric oxide, NO)의 생성을 통해 감염을 제어하는지를 확인하기 위하여 이 두 물질을 측정하였다. 감염 전 rapamycin 처리 시 RAW 264.7 세포에서 NO의 생성은 증가하였으나 ROS의 생성에는 별다른 차이가 없었다. 이상의 결과는 쥐의 큰포식세포주에서 rapamycin처리로 유도된 자가포식현상은 NO 생성을 통해 항박테리아능을 나타낸다고 할 수 있다. Autophagy is one of the lysosomal degradation pathways to maintain cellular homeostasis. The damaged proteins or organelles are uptaken through extra- and intra-cellular stress, starvation and infected pathogens, subsequently, autophagosomes are fused with lysosomes to break down the molecules. Salmonella enterica serovar Typhimurium (S. Typhimurium), intracellular bacteria, cause acute gastroenteritis and food poisoning. Given that autophagy induced by S. Typhimurium plays an important role in the cells to control the infection, we identify whether the induction of autophagy with rapamycin, chemical inducer of autophagy, before infection regulates S. Typhimurium infection. After treatment of rapamycin or 3-methyladenine (3-MA), autophagy inhibitor, RAW264.7 cells were infected with S. Typhimurium. Pretretment of rapamycin decreased the growth rate of S. Typhimurium in the cells; otherwise, pretreatment of 3-MA increased the growth rate of S. Typhimurium. The expression of autophagy-related genes was significantly increased in the S. Typhimurium-infected cells pretreated with rapamycin. To examine whether induced autophagy by rapamycin control the infection with increase the production of reactive oxygen species (ROS) and nitric oxide (NO), antibacterial radical substrates were measured in infected cells followed by the treatment with either rapamycin or 3-MA. NO production increased in RAW264.7 cells; otherwise, ROS production remained unchanged during the infection. These findings suggest that inducing autophagy with rapamycin reveals antimicrobial activity as producing NO against S. Typhimurium infection in mouse macrophages.

        Clean technology of energy is increasingly becoming valid business propositions. Across the globe, growing demand, tight hydrocarbon supplies, high oil prices and environmental consciousness are rapidly driving solar technology into the energy of transportation energy. In the present study, to meet these requirements, eco friendly heater with heat pipes was designed and manufactured. Eco friendly heater consists of solar evacuated tube collector which a heat pipe installed inside and oscillating heat pipe in the condenser section. The solar thermal energy was collected in heat pipe installed into the evacuated tube. And the collected solar energy transferred to the oscillating heat pipe of condenser section through the conducting cube. In this study, experimental and theoretical study were carried out. Theoretical calculation showed that about 6.7  could be transferred to the room.

        폐절제술을 받은 폐암환자의 영양섭취 상태와 수술 후 폐합병증

        Purpose: The aim of this study was to examine the nutritional intake status of the lung cancer patients who underwent pulmonary resection and to analyze the relationship between the status of the nutritional intake and the occurrence of postoperative pulmonary complications. Methods: This study was a secondary analysis to determine whether the changes in the nutritional intake after surgery were related to pulmonary complications. Data of a total of 89 patients were included in the analysis and the nutritional intake status was confirmed using a 24-hour dietary recall method. The data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, chi-square or Fisher’s exact test, and ANOVA using the SPSS WIN 26.0 program and word clouds were generated using the R software program. Results: Overall, a decrease in the postoperative nutritional intake was observed in the patients who underwent pulmonary resection, except for the intake of fat. The pulmonary complications were identified to be associated with BMI and the presence of comorbidity. Twenty-three out of 74 patients with vitamin E levels below the Estimated Average Requirements developed pulmonary complications after surgery. Conclusion: Lung cancer patients who underwent pulmonary resection generally have difficulty in acquiring appropriate nutritional intake and need balanced nutritional management. Future investigations on the impact of increased vitamin E intake on postoperative pulmonary complications may provide better insight into the relationship between vitamin E intake and pulmonary complication among patients who underwent pulmonary resection.

      • Visual-FlaMap: PLS-DA 통계기법을 이용한 플라보노이드 프로파일의 웹기반 시각화 도구

        Databases related to polyphenols have been constructed and expressed on the website. These databases were provided valuable information such as phenolic compounds and their contents from food materials. Visual-FlaMap, a web-based application tool that visualized 3205 flavonoid contents from 268 of agro-foods was developed. The visualization of flavonoid profile was constructed as follow; 1) the metadata for systematic identification of flavonoids was collected from literatures 2) actual analytical data was produced by UPLC-DAD-QTOF/MS 3) the database was designed by Oracle software 4) both data were uploaded in the database using NutriManager. Results of this tool were expressed as a scatter plot using D3 chart, the PLS-DA algorithm designed using 'R' software for discriminant analysis on the basis of RDA flavonoids database. The designed algorithm clustered the sample set in to three primary groups; food type of ten classes (cereals, potatoes and starches, pules, nuts and seeds, vegetables, mushrooms, fruits, teas, wines, seasonings, and others), flavonoids type of seven classes (flavones, flavonols, flavanones, isoflavones, flavanols, chacones, and xanthones), and four levels of contents. Visual-FlaMap expected to be a powerful tool to provide considerable information on the distribution of flavonoids in diverse agro-food materials, to promote the utilization of these resources in food industry, and to support in developing competitive market.

      • UPLC-DAD-QToF/MS를 이용한 벚나무 속 과일의 페놀산 특성 비교

        Phenolic acids are widely distributed in plants. Especially, fruits may play a important role in preventing several diseases as phenolics rich source. In this study, phenolic composition and concentration of the Prunus genus were evaluated using ultra performance liquid chromatography with diode array detection and quadrupole time-of-flight mass spectrometric system (UPLC-DAD-QToF/MS). In positive ion mode, a total of 18 hydroxycinnamic acid derivatives (HCAs) and 1 hydroxybenzoic acid derivative were also identified and quantified from Prunus fruits. Among them, 15 phenolic acids were newly identified in the fruits of Prunus genus. One feruloyl acetylsucorse was also newly named from apricot: 3-O-feruloyl (2'-O-acetyl)sucrose (armenose A). Japanese apricot, apricot and cherry showed the highest amounts of HCAs. Overall, 3-O-caffeoylquinic acid was major phenolic acid in Prunus fruits. Various types of feruloyl acetylsucrose and p-coumaroyl acetylsucrose were identified in apricot and Japanese apricot, respectively. With previous studies, the catechin content was increased while flavonol content was reduced during the ripening stage of Japanese apricot, as harvest time late. It was also identified that HCAs content was also reduced from this research. It was considered that phenolic acids and flavonols were used for biosynthesis of catechins in maturing. On the basis of phenolic information, PLS-DA model showed different patterns by cluster in various genus and ripening stages.

      • 고온고압 처리에 따른 인진쑥(Artemisia capillaris Thunberg)과 쑥갓(Chrysanthemum coronarium L.) 내 Caffeoylquinic Acid 유도체의 변화

        Capillary wormwood (Artemisia capillaris Thunberg) and crown daisy (Chrysanthemum coronarium L.) belonging to Family Asteraceae have been regarded as traditional medicinal herbs for preventive effects against chronic diseases including vascular disease, diabetes mellitus, and obesity. These plants are known for major resource of diverse caffeoylquinic acid (CQA) derivatives and flavonoid glycosides. Thus, objective of this study was to observe effects on high thermal and pressure processing to their CQA derivatives from capillary wormwood and crown daisy. A total of twenty-six hydroxycinnamoylquinic acid (HCQA) derivatives including p-coumaroylquinic acids (21), CQAs (3), and feruloylquinic acids (2) were separated and identified using UPLC-DAD-QToF/MS. Among them, a total twelve of HCQA derivatives was newly reported. Capillary wormwood and crown daisy were presented great majority of 5-O-caffeoylquinic acid (chlorogenic acid) and 3,5-di-O-caffeoylquinic acid (isochlorogenic acid A). In addition, 3,5-di-O-caffeoyl-4-O-succinylquinic acid was predominant compound in crown daisy. The total contents of HCQA derivatives were tended to decrease slightly during high thermal and pressure processing. Especially, the CQA derivatives which were esterified at 5- position of quinic acid moiety including chlorogenic acid and isochlorogenic acid A were tended to convert 3- and 4- position of CQA derivatives during processing. Therefore, proper high thermal and pressure processing is possible to enhance active ingredients. Furthermore, it can give valuable information for future research of functional foods and drugs.

        초등환경교육을 위한 지식채널 ⓔ 활용방안

        The purpose of this study was to investigate the utilization of the image materials in elementary environmental education through the analysis of knowledge channel ⓔ programs. In the pursuit of this purpose, 790 knowledge channel ⓔ programs, airing between September 2005 and March 2012, were analyzed by criterion of environmental education teaching material(Yang and Nam, 2003) and the national standard guidelines for the environmental education(Ministry of Environment, 2007). Among the 790 programs, 70 programs were suitable in areas such as a view of the environment, a capacity for understanding the environment and an analysis of characteristics of imagery data. These programs including the 9 contents system in environmental education are related to ‘economic activities and the environment’, ‘developing environmental sensitivity and consideration for the environment’, and ‘the view of the environment and environmental ethics’, respectively. One program was also found to contain the contents on the various environmental spectrums. The utilization of knowledge channel ⓔ programs in the elementary environmental education are as follows. First, during class time, a classified table of knowledge channel ⓔ programs which are classified by the contents system for the environmental education would be useful to connect with curriculum. Second, knowledge channel ⓔ programs can be shared on a school`s homepage and also aired during extra-curricular school hours to gain student feedback and increase educational effect. Third, teachers should use programs as a supplemental tool in complementing their own material as elementary students may not understand channel ⓔ materials in this entirely. In conclusions, knowledge channel ⓔ programs will tremendously assist in the elementary environmental education because they have appropriate image materials and contents for teaching elementary environmental education. To enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of elementary environmental education through these programs, the proper instructions of teachers is necessary to relay information to students on what they can do in daily life for the environment.

        세계시민교육을 위한 그림책 활용 미술교육에 관한 실행연구 : 초등학교 1학년 대상 공감능력 중심으로

        본 연구는 공감과 실천을 학습 영역으로 하는 새로운 관점에서의 세계시민교육의 필요성을 가지고, 세계시민교육을 위한 그림책 활용 미술교육에 관한 프로그램을 개발하여 실행수업을 통해 학생들과 교사의 세계시민의식에 어떻게 영향을 주는지 변화 상에 대해 알아보고자 하였다. 프로그램의 실행은 초등학교 1학년 대상 공감능력 중심으로 제안하였다. 공감능력의 향상을 위해 공감의 대상을 ‘타인’을 넘어 주변의 현상이나 환경에까지 확장하여 실행하였다. 프로그램의 실행 후 학생의 경우 타인에 대한 이해 능력에서의 변화와 교사는 실천적 공감의 이해 능력의 측면에서 변화가 일어났다. 본 연구의 세부 연구문제는 다음과 같다. 공감능력 향상을 위한 세계시민교육 프로그램을 통해 초등학교 1학년 학생들의 세계시민의식은 어떻게 변화하는가? 프로그램 실행 과정에서 세계시민교육을 가르치는 교사의 전문성과 역할은 무엇인가? 이에 대한 결론은 다음과 같다. 학생들은 입장 바꿔보기를 통한 공감과 시각화 활동을 통한 공감의 경험으로 세계시민의식의 변화를 가져왔다. 교사 또한 실천적 공감의 이해 능력의 변화를 가져오고, 모델링 제공자의 역할과 세계시민교육 전문가의 역할을 통해 학생의 공감능력 향상이 이루어질 수 있을 것이라는 교육적 의미를 가지게 되었다. 본 연구는 학생과 교사의 정서적 공감이 긍정적인 역할을 수행하고, 세계화 시대에서 공감능력을 함양하는 데 미술교육이 중심이 될 수 있다는 방안을 모색하였다는 데 의의가 있다. This study aims to develop a program on art education using picture books for global citizenship education with the need for global citizenship education from a new perspective of empathy and practice as a learning area and to find out how students and teachers influence global citizenship. The implementation of the program was proposed focusing on empathy ability for first graders in elementary school. In order to improve empathy ability, the object of empathy was extended beyond other to surrounding phenomena and environments. After the implementation of the program, in the case of students, changes in the ability to understand others and teachers in terms of the ability to understand practical empathy occurred. The detailed research problems of this study are as follows. How does the global citizenship of first-year elementary school students change through the global citizenship education program to improve their empathy? What is the professionalism and role of teachers who teach global civic education in the process of program execution? The conclusion on this is as follows. Students brought about a strong change in citizenship through empathy through changing positions and experience of empathy through visualization activities. Teachers also brought about changes in the understanding ability of practical empathy, and had an educational meaning that students empathy ability could be improved through the role of modeling providers and global civic education experts. This study is meaningful in that it sought ways that the emotional empathy of students and teachers plays a positive role and art education can be centered on cultivating empathy skills in the era of globalization.

        정신장애 동료상담 교육과정 개발 기초연구 : 내러티브접근의 철학과 방법의 적용

        정신장애인의 고용율이 매우 낮은 현실 속에서 정신장애에 특화된 일자리로서 동료지원가에 대한 관심이 증가하고 있다. 본 연구는 정신장애인들을 대상으로 동료상담가 교육과정을 개발하고 성과를 평가하였다. 양성교육 과정은 영미의 동료지원 필수역량과 국내의 기존 교과내용을 근거로 이론과목(대면상담, 상담행정, 사회연대)과 실습과목으로 구성하였고, 교육과정 전체를 관통하는 철학과 방법으로서 포스트모던 사회복지실천 및 상담 모델인 내러티브접근을 적용하였다. 본 교육은 성인 정신장애인 15명을 대상으로 10주간 300시간에 걸쳐 진행되었고, 사전사후에 설문조사 각 1회와 사후 초점집단인터뷰 1회가 수행되었다. 윌콕슨 부호순위 검정 결과, 연구참여자들은 교육과정 참여 이전과 비교하여 교육 참여 이후 삶의 만족도, 회복, 정신건강 자신감 수준이 통 계적으로 유의미하게 증가하였고, 정신건강 증상은 유의미하게 낮아졌다. 주제분석 결과, 일상 회복, 개인정체성 재구성, 동료상담가로서의 정체성 발달측면에서의 변화가 주요 성과로 도출되었다. 정신장애인이 동료상담가로서의 정체성과 역량을 개발하고 안정적인 일자리에 접근할 수 있도록 하는 생태환경 조성의 방안을 제언하였다. Given low rate of unemployment among people with psychosocial disabilities, mental health peer support has received much attention as a viable job for individuals who are mentally ill and recovering. The purpose of this study was to develop a curriculum to train the recovering mentally ill as peer counselors and evaluate the effect of the training. After a review of international and domestic literature on competencies and curriculums for peer supporters, this study constructed a training curriculum to develop core competencies in peer counselors. The principles of narrative approach, a postmodern counseling and therapy model, were applied as theoretical underpinnings of the curriculum. The curriculum consisted of theoretical courses (face-to-face counseling, counseling administration, and social solidarity) and practical courses. Fifteen adults with mental illness participated in the training for 300 hours (10 weeks), taking both pre- and post-surveys and participating in a focus group interview after the training. Results of Wilcoxon s signed-rank test showed that participants reported statistically significant increases in the levels of life satisfaction, recovery, and mental health confidence and a significant decrease in mental health symptoms compared to the levels before their participation in the training. Thematic analysis identified major themes related to their changes after participation in the training, such as recovery in daily life, restructuring of personal identity, and the development of an occupational identity as a peer counselor. This study highlights the efforts necessary for people with psychosocial disabilities to develop their identity and competency as peer counselors and provides an ecological environment to increase access to stable jobs.
