We report the electro-optical properties of the sensory rhodopsin II using a near-field scanning microwave microscope(NSMM). Rhodopsin was known as a photoreceptor pigment with a retinal as a chromophore via a protonated Schiff base and consists of seven ${\alpha}-helical$ transmembrane segments. The sensory rhodopsin II, expressing E. coli UT5600 with endogenous retinal biosynthesis system and purified with $Ni^{-2}-NTA$ affinity chromatography in the presence of 0.02 % DM (Dodecyl Maltoside) from Natronomonas pharaonis. We measured the absorption spectra and the transients difference of sensory rhodopsin II from Natronomonas pharaonis using a UV/VIS spectrophotometer with Nd-Yag Laser (532 nm). The absorption spectra of NpSR II showed a typical rhodopsin spectrum with a left shoulder region and the photointermediates spectra of NpSR II-ground state (${\lambda}max=498\;nm$), NpSR II-M state (${\lambda}max=390\;nm$), and NpSR II-O state (${\lambda}max=550\;nm$) during the photocycle. The observed photocycle reaction was confirmed by measuring the microwave reflection coefficient $S_{11}$ at an operating frequency of f=3.93-3.95 GHz and compared with the results of a photocycle of NpSR II.
유기물 Pentacene 박막과 금속 계면에서의 Space Charge 연구

Surface potential properties at the interface of pentacene thin films on gold (Au) and aluminum (Al) surfaces were investigated by using a near-field scanning microwave microprobe (NSMM). The surface potential formed across the pentacene film was observed by measuring the microwave reflection coefficient $S_{11}$ and compared with the result of a Kelvin-probe method. The obtained reflection coefficient ${\Delta}S_{11}$ of the pentacene thin films on Al was decreased as the pentacene film thickness increased due to the increased accumulation of negative space charges, while for Au ${\Delta}S_{11}$ was essentially constant.

We report the changes of the microwave reflection coefficients S$_{11}$ of copper(II)-phthalocyanine (CuPc) thin films by using a near-field microwave microscope(NSMM) in order to understand the phase transition of CuPc. For a NSMM system, a high-quality microstrip resonator coupled with a dielectric resonator was used. CuPc thin films were prepared on the pre-heated glass substrates using a thermal evaporation method. The reflection coefficients S$_{11}$ of CuPc thin films were changed by the dependence on the substrate pre-heating temperatures. By comparing reflection coefficient S$_{11}$ and crystal structures, we found the phase transition of CuPc thin films from $\alpha$-phase to $\beta$-phase at the substrate heating temperature 200 $^{\circ}C$..
금속/copper(Ⅱ)-phthalocyanine 계면에서의 Space Charge 연구

We report the space charge and the surface potential of the interface between metal and copper(Ⅱ)-phthalocyanine(CuPc) thin films by measuring the microwave reflection coefficients S/sub 11/ of thin films using a near-field scanning microwave microscope(NSMM). CuPc thin films were prepared on Au and Al thin films using a thermal evaporation method. Two kinds of CuPc thin films were prepared by different substrate heating conditions; one was deposited on preheated substrate at 150。C and the other was annealed after deposition. The microwave reflection coefficients S/sub 11/ of CuPc thin films were changed by the dependence on grain alignment due to heat treatment conditions and depended on thickness of CuPc thin films. Electrical conductivity of interface between metal and organic CuPc was changed by the space charge of the interface. By comparing reflection coefficient S/sub 11/ we observed the electrical conductivity changes of CuPc thin films by the changes of surface potential and space charge at the interface.

본 논문에서는 세라믹을 이용한 유전체 도파관 듀플렉서를 제안한다. 송신단과 수신단 대역 통과 필터를 설계한 후, 상호 간섭이 최소화되도록 결합하여 듀플렉서를 완성한다. 본 논문에서 제안한 안테나단 설계 방법으로는 분배기를 이용하여 투과 손실을 결정하고, 간섭을 피하기 위해 송수신 필터의 공진기 길이를 보정한다. 제작시 상대 유전율이 9.46인 세라믹을 이용하였으며, SMD 형태로 PCB에 표면 실장이 가능하도록 한다. Ceramic dielectric waveguide duplexer was developed. Duplexer was designed in order to minimize the muture interferences between transmission port and receive port of bandpass filter. The design method for antenna port was determined by the transmission loss and calibrated the length of resonator of recriving filter. We used the ceramic powder of dielectric constant 9.46 and installed SMD type on PCB board.

본 논문에서는 적층형 유전체 도파관 필터를 제안한다. 횡 방향으로 공진부가 연결되는 유전체 도파관 필터는 단수가 증가함에 따라 길이가 증가하여 제작시 어려움이 따른다. 제안된 구조는 세라믹을 이용하여 일부 공진부를 적층 형태로 변경하여 설계 제작한 것이다. 상대 유전율이 22인 세라믹을 이용하여 기존의 도파관 필터보다 25 % 정도 크기가 줄었으며, SMD 형태로 PCB에 표면 실장이 가능하도록 하였다. Layered-type dielectric waveguide filters were designed. As the order of layers increased the fabrication process for dielectric waveguide filters which the resonator parts were connected by the lateral direction has many difficulties. The proposed structure in this report was designed based on the layered-type for the some parts of resonators. The size of layered-type dielectric waveguide filters installed on the PCB surface were reduced at 25% as compared with the usual waveguide filters by using a relative dielectric constant 22.
DWFD 프로그램을 이용한 3차원 적층 유전체 세라믹 도파관 필터의 설계 및 제작

유전체 세라믹 도파관 필터를 설계할 수 있는 DWFD 프로그램이 λ/2 스텝 임피던스 타입의 직접 결합 도파관 필터 이론을 사용하여 개발되었다. 1 ㎓ 대역의 필터 크기를 줄이기 위하여 3차원 적층 형태로 설계하였다. 이에 필요한 S-매개변수값은 개발한 프로그램을 이용하였다. 적층형에 필요한 인덕티브 아이리스들의 치수는 HFSS 시뮬레이션 도구를 사용하였다. 필터는 중심 주파수 881.5 ㎒에서 25 ㎒ 대역폭을 가지는 8단으로 설계하였다. 설계된 도파관 필터는 유전율 35.4의 세라믹을 사용하여 크기를 폭 50 ㎜에 높이 48 ㎜로 제작하였다. 측정한 주파수 반응은 시뮬레이션 결과와 일치하였다. 개발한 시뮬레이션 프로그램을 통하여 원하는 형태의 유전체 세라믹 도파관 필터를 쉽고 효율적으로 설계, 제작이 가능하도록 하였다. The program for dielectric ceramic waveguide filter was developed based on the direct coupled filter of λ/2 step impedance prototype. This developed program was called DWFD(Direct coupled Waveguide Filter Design). The filter was designed by 3-dimensional laminated type to reduce the size at the 1 ㎓. S scattering matrix for this filter was calculated using the DWFD program. The width of inductive irises for laminated filter was computed by HFSS simulation tool. This waveguide filter was designed by 8 poles with bandwidth 25 ㎒ at the center frequency 881.5 ㎒. By using a dielectric constant 35.4 and laminated type, the size of filter was reduced with width 50 ㎜ and height 48 ㎜ rapidly. We can see that the measured results agree well with the HFSS simulation result. Finally, this paper is shown that the design and implementation of waveguide filters can be presented by using DWFD program simply.
