        Recolonization of Transfected Blastodermal Cells in Developing Embryos after Transferring into UV-irradiated Fertilized Hen′s Egg

        Unfortunately, there is no technique which is stable and repetitive to produce transgenic chicken, although various ways of gene transfer including PGC-and embryonic cell-mediated gene transfer, DNA microinjection, virus inoculation and sperm cells have been employed. The aims of this study were 세 develop and establish such a stable, repetitive and efficient way of gene transfer giving a faithful gene expression during development after the reconstruction of embryo in an UV-irradiated egg. A dual reporter plasmid (pJJ9), a fusion gene containing lacZ and GFP driven by a CMV promoter was used to exploit either merits of both reporting markers. lacZ with strong signal or GFP with vital marking. Electroporated embryonic blastodermal cells (EBCs) in the presence of the pJJ9 DNA faithfully showed 377 bp PCR product and lacZ or GFP expressions in the identical cells in vitro of in vivo. Furthermore, analyses of expression pattern of the foreign DNA demonstrated that microinjected EBCs cells into the UV-irradiated recipient egg should participate in normal developmental process, for example, proliferation and differentiation into various tissues. Thirty percentages of the manipulated eggs showed lacZ expression in their tissues. These results together with the specific procedures used in this study should facilitate avian transgenesis.

        닭 배반엽세포로부터 유래된 잠정적 배아주세포의 동정

        Embryonic stem (ES) cells are pluripotent cell lines, which derived from preimplantation embryo. These cells have been used as a vehicle of foreign DNA for production of transgenic mammals. this experiment was performed to examined the possible use of blastodermal cells derived from hen's egg for germline manipulation. Stage X blsdtodermal cells isolated from fertilized eggs were cultured in DMEM containing 15% fetal calf serum. Blastodermal cells wre co-cultured on the chicken embryonic fibroblast (CEF) or mouse embryonic fibroblast(MEF) cells. to examine the effects of growth factors on stem cell growth, bFGF and LIF were added. There was no significant difference in colony formation of putative ES cells between CEF and MEF as a feederlayer, but the addition of growth factors enhanced the proliferation and inhibited differentiation of blastodermal cells. To characterize the cell colonies as a putative ES cells, putative embryonic cell colonies were stained by periodic acid Schiffs (PAS) reagent. The putative ES cell colonies showed intensive positive reaction similar to the property of undifferentiated PGC upto 20days in vitro, but not in other cell types. this result demonstrates that PAS-positive cell colonies may be used for the study of establishment of chicken ES cell lines for the production of transgenic chicken.

        다분광 TM 영상 변환기법과 감독분류 정확도 비교연구 -두만강 하류 지역을 중심으로-

        본 연구에서는 두만강 하류지역 다분광 TM영상의 변환기법과 그에 대한 감독분류방법을 비교 분석하였다. 총체적 분류 정확도는 최대우도법이 높으며 식생은 MNF와 TC 변환 영상에서 비교적 좋은 분류 결과를 얻을 수 있다. MNF, TC, NDVI 등 영상들로 구성된 7차원 영상은 3차원 영상보다 좋은 결과를 나타내며 그 중에서도 최대우도법의 분류 결과가 제일 좋았다. 다분광 영상은 두만강 지역 경제 개발 계획과 산업 입지 선정에 중요한 기초자료로 활용될 수 있다. This study conducts to analyze comparative accuracy when both Image Transformation Methods and Supervised Classifications on multi-spectral TM using a case of Lower Tumen River Area. In terms of overall classification accuracy, maximum likelihood method turns out higher than other one, but in a case of vegetation only, MNF and TC image transformation methods produce a better quality of the result. Especially, seven dimensional images including MNF, TC, and NDVI create better image than three dimensional one. Among these transformation methods, maximum likelihood method results out the best one. Multi-spectral image could be useful as an important basic material for site selection of industrial allocation as well as Tumen River Area Economic Development Plan.

      • 융합 서비스 확산을 위한 메타버스 기술 동향

        Metaverse is expected to bring many innovations to society, culture, and economy by providing realistic services in various fields while suppressing time and space constraints. However, unclear definitions owing to the high diversity of the metaverse add to the confusion of the ecosystem participants. The current metaverse service has many voices of concern owing to technical limitations and lack of a clear profit model. Nevertheless, given its high growth potential driven by the digital transformation, a solid and long-term technology development strategy seems to be necessary. Accordingly, we analyze development cases centering on the major metaverse service shapes presented in the Metaverse New Industry Leading Strategy announced by the Ministry of Science and ICT in January 2022. In addition, we study the characteristics and core technologies of each metaverse service for its realization and discuss future stages of technological development.

        게임 물리 기술은 컴퓨터 그래픽스의 한 분야로써 오랫동안 연구되어 왔던 물리 기반모델링(physically-based modeling) 분야의 다양한 연구 성과를 게임에 적용한 것이다. 게임 물리는 실제와 유사한 게임 환경을 구현하기 위한 필수적인 게임 요소 기술로써 그동안 연산의 복잡도에 따른 실시간성의 제약에 의해 게임에 부분적인 활용이 이루어져 왔으나 하드웨어의 성능향상과 더불어 그 중요성이 더욱 높아지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 게임 물리 기술들의 발전과 주요 기술들에 대해서 설명하고 현재 시장에서 많이 사용되는 상용 물리 엔진의 특징과 연구 동향을 통하여 앞으로의 발전 방향을 제시하고자 한다.

        대기압 플라즈마 설비 개발 및 Flip Chip BGA 제조공정 적용

        Atmospheric pressure plasma equipment was successfully applied to the flip chip BGA manufacturing process to improve the uniformity of flux printing process. The problem was characterized as shrinkage of the printed flux layer due to insufficient surface energy of the flip chip BGA substrate. To improve the hydrophilic characteristics of the flip chip BGA substrate, remote DBD type atmospheric pressure plasma equipment was developed and adapted to the flux print process. The equipment enhanced the surface energy of the substrate to reasonable level and made the flux be distributed over the entire flip chip BGA substrate uniformly. This research was the first adaptation of the atmospheric pressure plasma equipment to the flip chip BGA manufacturing process and a lot of possible applications are supposed to be extended to other PCB manufacturing processes such as organic cleaning, etc.

        지리학 연구와 국제기구 - 동해명칭의 국제표준화와 관련하여 -

        본 논문은 국제기구의 다양한 활동과 관련하여 지리학 분야가 공헌 할 수 있는 가능성과 미래 새로운 영역 개발의 필요성을 동해명칭의 국제표준화 과정을 사례로 점검하였다. 지명을 국제적으로 표준화를 담당하는 국제기구로는 UN 내에 지명표준화회의와 지명전문가회의가 있으며 동해와 같이 바다명칭안을 다루는 기구로는 국제수로기구로 각 기구는 이와 관련된 결의안을 이미 확보하고 있다. 그러나, 현실에서는 본 결의안을 수행하는데는 양자 혹은 다자 협의가 필수적이라 많은 노력이 요망되고 있다. 그간 정부와 학계의 노력으로 동해표기가 지도제작사에 의해 빠른 속도로 확산되고 있다. 지명 외에 WTO, 해양문제, 환경과 기후 영토와 국경 문제, FTA 등을 포함한 “지리학의 국제관계”를 다루는 새로운 분야를 개척하여 지리학자가 직접 국제간에 결정과정에 참여 할 수 있도록 노력하여야 겠다.<br/> This paper deals with a possible contribution to international relations and affairs by the discipline of geography and raises the necessity of a new field in geography that would study relations between nations. The proposed change of the name 'East Sea' is used as a case study in promoting international standardization. Two major international organizations oversee the international standardization of geographical names. One is the UN Conferences of the Standardization of the Geographical Names which works in association with the UN Group of Experts on Geographical Names, and the other is the International Hydrographic Organization. These two organizations have in the past passed all the relevant resolutions pertaining to geographical names. From recent developments on the Korean Peninsula. however, it has become evident that international disputes on place names sometimes require a long process of consultation with the relevant parties. Efforts being made to restore the historically appropriate name of 'East Sea' as opposed to the 'Sea of Japan' have only now begun to diffuse in many areas. It would be appropriate if geographers could develop a new area of 'Geography of International Relations' that deals with wro, oceans, environment and climatic issues, FTA, as well as territories and boundaries Furthermore, it would improve the quality of discourse if geographers participated more in the decision-making processes in international affairs.<br/>
