Unification has been a major issue since the division of the Korean peninsula and is one of the ongoing issues. There are several scenarios to prepare for unification, but large-scale population movements are inevitable, no matter what type of unification is taking place. In addition, it is necessary to be able to supply residential complexes about unification immediately when such a situation arises. For unified housing complexes, different approaches should be applied depending on the location of the complex and the situation of unification. Supplying facilities in this supply plan is one of the important issues that directly affects the basic living and sanitary environment of migrants. In this study, the present situation of housing facilities in North Korea are reviewed, and the facility supply scenario of the unified housing complex is prepared by referring to the facility supply of domestic and foreign refugee residential complexes and domestic facilities standards.
다항함수를 이용한 건물의 연간부하 예측 방법에 관한 연구

In order to use and manage the building energy efficiently, it is necessary to minimize building energy consumptions, and establish operation plans of various equipment. The maximum heating and cooling load calculation is an essential way in various equipment selections, and the annual building load calculation is used in forecasting & evaluating the LCC required for operation plan. In this study, noting that the annual building load changes depending on outside temperature around year, we propose a predicting method of annual building load. By using the 4<SUP>th</SUP> polynomial function that have two double radix and a feature the f(x) = a<SUP>4</SUP> in x = 0 condition, we can calculate annual building load very easily only with the two result (maximum heating and cooling load) and a minimum parameters.
건물 배연창 설치 및 유지관리 가이드라인 개발에 관한 연구

화재 시 연기를 배출하기 위해 설치하는 배연창은 건축법에서 정하고 있는 자연배연설비이다. 건물에서 화재 발생 시 연기를 배출하고 피난 시간을 확보하여 재실자가 안전한 대피를 할 수 있도록 배연창을 사용하는 것이 중요하다. 그러나 현재 국내기준에서는 배연창을 효과적으로 활용할 수 있는 기준을 제시하지 못하고 있다. 현장에서는 배연창이 형식적으로만 설치되고 있는 상황이다. 이에 국내 기준의 문제점을 파악하고 국내·외 기준, 선행연구 등을 조사하여 배연창의 가이드라인을 작성하였다. 본 연구에서 작성된 가이드라인을 바탕으로 배연창 활용을 위한 효과적인 방안을 제시하고자 한다. The natural smoke ventilator that is installed to discharge smoke in the event of a fire is specified by the Korean Building Act and Code. It is important to use natural smoke ventilators so that residents can evacuate safely by evacuating smoke and evacuating time when a fire occurs to the building. However the domestic standard does not provide a standard to effectively use the natural smoke ventilator. In the field, the natural smoke ventilator is only formally installed. Therefore, the problems of domestic standards were identified, and domestic and foreign standards and prior researches were investigated to form guidelines for natural smoke ventilator. Based on the guidelines developed in this study, an effective method of using the natural smoke ventilator is proposed.

When applying geothermal systems in cities such as seoul where high density development prevails, the selection of geothermal system capable of obtaining a large capacity in the limited grounds is necessary. In this study, an easy-to-use design tool is developed in the form of spreadsheet by applying the calculation theory of existing closed-loop vertical ground heat exchanger that can be used in the early design stage of the open-loop ground heat exchanger. By only using the maximum cooling and heating load, it is possible to calculate optimal design open-loop ground heat exchanger. Further research is needed, we are plan to improve the program considering the heat loss of groundwater flowing in the inner casing, G-Function for Open-Loop, and verification by applying actual projects.

The purpose of this study is to present an approach for developing guideline of open type ground heat exchanger considering the geotechnical properties and heating and cooling loads of buildings. The results indicate that typical building loads are often greater in cooling season. Therefore, it is necessary to develop open type ground heat exchanger having the upward flow as upward flow exchanger is efficient in cooling mode. In addition, it is necessary to increase the effective length of ground heat exchanger in the existing technology. Based on this study, it is possible to develop a more efficient geothermal system.

To reduce energy loss in cold water pipes of building mechanical systems is crucial for building energy consumption, and the relevant pipe insulation standards are intimated by the government. However, the latest standards were established in 2002, although the important of building energy conservation has been sharply magnified ever since. In this study, we propose a performance design method for the cold water pipe insulation. Based on the method, an approach to determine optimum insulation thickness for energy conservation and condensation prevention has been proposed.
