[技術硏究]마이크로 프로그램이 가능한 미니컴퓨터 개발에 관한 연구

본 논문은 한국 전자 통신 연구소에서 개발한 마이크로프로그램이 가능한 미니컴퓨터(Han-32)의 마이크로 아키텍춰 구조와 그 마이크로 아키텍춰를 위한 수평적 마이크로 인스트럭션의 설계와 구조에 관하여 기술하였다. 그리고 Han-32 시스템을 사용하여 IBM머신을 실험적으로 에뮬레이션한 마이크로 프로그램의 구성을 설명하였으며, 마지막으로 IBM머신을 에뮬레이션하였을 때의 결과를 기술 하였다. This paper describes the micro.architecture of a microprogrammable minicomputer system (Han-32) developed by ETRI and its horizontal microinstruction structure and the design considerations for the micro.architecture. This paper also explains the, microprogram orgamizalion of Han-32 for emulating an IBM machine experimentally and, finally, gives the results when emulating an IBM mechine.
공유메모리 다중처리기에서 효율적인 프로세서 동기화 기법

Many kinds of large scale multiprocessing and parallel-processing systems have recently been developed. The contention on the shared data caused by multiple processors may degrade system performance. So, processor synchronization has become one of the important issues in these systems. To solve the synchornization issues, a lot of software and hardware schemes based on spin lock have been proposed. Although software schemes are easy to implement, hardware schemes are preferred in many systems to gain optimized performance. This paper proposes an efficient processor synchronization scheme, called QCX,and describes its design considerations, hardware, algorithm, protocol. Also, in this paper, the performance of QCX has been evaluated with QOLB[5] and LBP[7] using a simulation. The simulation, with varying the number of processor and the contention on shared variables, measured the average execution times of a workload. The simulation results show that the performances of QCX is best when practicability is considered. QCX is more efficient than QOLB and LBP in two aspects. First, the hardware of QCX is more simple and cost-effective because the cache structure need not be changed. Secondly, QCX is more general because it uses a generic atomic instruction.
고층 아파트 건물의 지진거동에 대한 물탱크의 영향 분석

Many structural aspects need to be considered to design the high-rise apartment building. The higher the building the larger the lateral loads such as in the case of wind and earthquake load due to the particular dynamic effects. The effect of the earthquake load is difficult to predict and differ to the structural characteristics of buildings although the shape of structures is similar, which is different from the case of a wind load. The heavy water tank on the apartment roof floors has a significant effect on the dynamic behaviours of buildings. The purpose of this study is to understand the behaviour of apartment building due to the weight of water tanks under the earthquake load. Dynamic analysis was conducted on two cases - 1) water tank is considered and 2) water tank is not considered - to analyse effect of water tank in a high-rise apartment building. Structural design was also considered to understand how the water tank on the roof floor affects each structural members.

Differential shortening of vertical members in high-rise buildings affect other structural members that have to be considered such as horizontal members and exterior cladding of many elements which affect the total amount of shortening, different loading history mainly comes from the different construction time. Shortening of 66 story concrete column and wall were investigated and compared according to the different construction time. Little difference was found between the total shortening of column and wall.
