        공간의 속도와 보행자 선호거리의 상관관계에 대한 연구

        (연구배경 및 목적)이 논문은 어느 거리는 다른 거리에 비해서 더 걷고 싶은 거리가 되는지 그 정량적인 이유를 찾아보는 연구이다. 공간의 성격은 움직이지 않는 건축물과 그로 인해서 규정된 공간 내에서 움직이는 물체에 의해 서 결정된다. 물체의 에너지는 위치에너지와 운동에너지로 나누어진다. 건축물은 위치에너지를 가지고 있고, 움직이는 사람이나 자동차는 운동에너지를 가지고 있다. 이 둘이 모여서 일정 공간의 에너지를 결정한다. 공간내의 운동에너지를 규정하는 큰 요소는 공간에서 움직이는 자동차와 사람과 같은 개체의 속도이다. 이러한 움직이는 물체의 속도에 의해서 만들어진 공간의 성격이 “공간의 속도”이다. 이 논문에서는 공간의 성격을 속도적인 측면에서 바라보고 “공간의 속도”를 정량화함으로써 해당 거리 공간의 물리적 성격을 규정하고자 한다. 이 연구를 통해서 거리의 속도값과 보행자가 선호하는 거리의 관계를 증명 할 수 있다면, 추후에 보행자가 선호하는 거리를 설계할 때 도움이 될 것이다. (연구방법) 첫째, 공간의 속도를 알아보기 위해 서울에서 거리의 성격이 명확하게 규정되어있다고 판단되는 곳 5군데인 홍대앞, 가로수길, 명동, 강남대로, 테헤란로의 120미터 구간을 선택한다. 이후 각각의 공간내의 움직이는 개체의 평균속도를 정한다. 데크와 주차장은 시속 1 km/h, 인도의 경우에는 시속 4km/h, 테헤란로 차도의 경우 시속 60 km/h, 홍대앞의 이면도로 같은 경우에는 시속 10 km/h정도로 속도값을 정하였다. 둘째, 거리의 120미터 구역내의 차도, 인도, 데크, 주차장과 같은 다른 성격의 공간으로 나누어서 배치도에 그린 후 면적을 계산한다. 셋째, 그 해당면적과 각각의 공간에서 이동하는 평균속도를 곱한 숫자를 전체 면적으로 나누어 공간의 속도 값 (단위: SS; Spatial Speed의 약자)을 구한다. 이러한 각각의 면적에 속도를 곱한 값의 총합을 전체 면적으로 나눈 값이 “공간의 속도”이다. 공간의 속도의 단위는 Spatial Speed의 약자인 SS로 정의한다. (결과)연구대상지의 공간의 속도를 보면 홍대앞 (4.86 SS) , 가로수길( 5.41 SS) , 명동(6.5 SS) , 강남 대로 (47.9 SS) , 테헤란로(52.03 SS) 의 값을 가지고 있다. 공간의 속도인 SS 값이 보행자가 걷는 속도에 가까운 거리일수록 보행자가 선호하는 거리라는 연구결과가 도출되었다. 이 측정값을 보면 테헤란로는 신사동 가로수길과 비교해서 10배나 더 빠른 속도의 공간을 가지고 있다고 말할수 있다. (결론)이것은 보행자들이 선호하는 거리의 물리적 수치를 예측가능해짐으로 이 논문에서 제시하는 방식을 통해서 추후에 도시설계를 할 때 공간의 성격을 규정하는 치수로도 사용가능 할 것이다. (Background and Purpose)The purpose of this thesis is to provide quantitative analysis on the reasoning behind why some streets are more preferred by pedestrians for walking. The character of space is defined by stationary architectural buildings and moving objects within the space. The energy of an object is divided by potential energy and kinetic energy. Architectural buildings have potential energy, and people or cars that are moving have kinetic energy. These energies are combined to determine the total energy of a certain space. A major element of defining kinetic energy is the speed of the cars or people that are moving in the space. This is called “spatial speed,” which means the character of a space created by the speed of moving objects. In this thesis, the characteristics of space will be discussed in terms of speed, and the physical characteristics of a certain street space will be defined by quantifying the “spatial speed.”The aim of the study is to prove that a relationship exists between the speed of the street and pedestrians’ preferences for that street, in order to design streets to which people will be easily attracted. (Method)To determine the speed of a space, 120 meter sections of five major streets in Seoul, Korea were selected; these streets were considered to clearly define the characteristic of streets. Next, the average speed of moving objects in each space was examined. The speed values were 1km/h for the deck and parking lot, 4km/h for sidewalks, 60km/h for the Teheran-ro, and 10 km/h for the back street of Hongdaeap Rd. The space within the 120 meters of streets was categorized as roads, pedestrianroads, decks, and parking lots. These spaces were then drawn on an arrangement chart and the area was calculated. The spatial speed was calculated by dividing the product of the area and the average moving speed inside the area by the total area. The product of the area and speed divided by the total area is spatial speed. The unit of spatial speed is SS. (Result) The SS values of target area are as follows: Hongdaeap Rd. (4.86 ss); Shinsa-dong Garosu-gil(5.41 ss); Myungdong (6.5 ss); Gangnam Daero (47.9ss); and Tehran-ro. (52.03 ss). The streets for which the SS value is close to the normal pedestrian’s speed are the streets on which pedestrians prefer to walk. According to this study, Tehran-ro is 10 times faster than the Garosu-gil in terms of spatial speed. (Conclusion) Since the physical figures of the street preferred by pedestrians can be predicted, they can be used to define the character of space when designing cities.

        근접장 마이크로파 현미경을 이용한 Copper(II)-phthalocyanine의 Phase Transition 연구

        We report the changes of the microwave reflection coefficients S$_{11}$ of copper(II)-phthalocyanine (CuPc) thin films by using a near-field microwave microscope(NSMM) in order to understand the phase transition of CuPc. For a NSMM system, a high-quality microstrip resonator coupled with a dielectric resonator was used. CuPc thin films were prepared on the pre-heated glass substrates using a thermal evaporation method. The reflection coefficients S$_{11}$ of CuPc thin films were changed by the dependence on the substrate pre-heating temperatures. By comparing reflection coefficient S$_{11}$ and crystal structures, we found the phase transition of CuPc thin films from $\alpha$-phase to $\beta$-phase at the substrate heating temperature 200 $^{\circ}C$..

        There are several elements that comprise the city things. One reason for one particular property or buildings in the urban can't ignore concerns, but also influence the area except with the special nature of human life and living environment of the region's how I see it in position. The choice of without public is difficult that human centered and passive means to actively create a space for creation resuscitate space. This research will play for the urban public facilities across space and a cascade of measures to reach that objective as a public space, essentially meaning and role of street space and insights with the new spatial plan for the reconstruction of the city's offer to play. The urban should be filled with full of people, exciting event and there should be provide public space of higher quality. People routinely happens in outer space and all the activities and events occurring by chance is a reflection of the urban to play the most fundamental problem. The street space and public facilities will be connected with everyday activities happening anywhere in the urban center with outdoor public space in public facilities and community space. abundant will make an important contribution. Understanding the relationship that appears in modem society are bitterly antagonistic to the pedestrian space in the city's residents to participate in the composition of social conflicts and social integration can switch means to be valid.         The present study tries to mention a process of a previous environment or creation through exchange of active elements containing difference of environmental understanding and recovery of the contemporary era. The environment that there was no original desire of human beings was gradually generated and evolved between things that are manifold aggregates and create new elements. The environment will bring a new life value of human beings amid complexity of the contemporary city. Human beings themselves are not self-sufficient or isolated but should continue with the environment. We accept and restore flow of the age and the environment by mutually crossing time flow, and can live our lives in a better environment. And environmental problems cured by the nature itself through variety and self-purification of an ecosystem. However, two areas were cut due to fallacious developments, so a lot of ecological disturbances were caused due to this. Now, the nature should be restored to its orignal shape. Accordingly, an experience type eco-center that human beings, the environment and architecture all are sustainable is proposed by recovering the natural environment through environmental mutual understanding having difference.

        The purpose of the present study is to search an alternative plan of near future apartment houses by analyzing contemporary social phenomena and life style. The reason that the transition speed of housing culture is slow and its transition width is not large is because housing is directly and primarily related to our lives. The apartment, which is a typical form of contemporary housing, made a social problem that provides uniform housing space. However, it is being continuously mass-produced due to its many advantages and the improvement of life quality tends to be very slow and negative. Although many housing alternative plans corresponding to these problems and social change are being researched currently, it is a general reality that the problem of physical housing environment itself is directly improved or fanciful approach due to romantic thought is tried. Thus, the present study recognizes importance of housing in our lives and predicts near future life style based on diverse analyses of the present life style and social phenomena. And an alternative plan of near future apartments through transition was suggested as analysing of shortage and limits appeared in the flexible housing.

      • 구 서울역사의 장소성 회복에 관한 연구

        The purpose of this study is to find out the traditional meaning of old Seoul station in city. Today Seoul remembered many meanings to many people. some people remember Seoul station that enjoying their sense of freedom or an assembly area or space of meeting and separation. Early 20th post-industrial society, Seoul changed into an high-density city that is one of the highest population density in the world. In addition. the demand of tourists are increasing. There wasn't enough space for expropriation. It is urgently needed to space for expropriation. Then, new Seoul station is completed at 2004. But new Seoul station seems there is not any relation with old thing. Also, old Seoul station is got being forgotten among people. This study has been proceed with the aim of the recovery of 'Placeness' in old Seoul station. I'll look for the map of city, in between 1900 and 2000. And i'll analyze and compare the relation between urban structure and space of near the Seoul station. I suggest two alternatives on aspect of revitalization. First way is for preservation. Second way is for renewal.

        The present study is to propose waterfront space that is not well utilized and doesn't fulfill its use and shape due to function loss of old downtown according to urban expansion as a new program and an architectural frame. The natural environment and infrastructures in the city boundary constructed in the past lost its function due to expansion of urban structure during a modernization process and were left alone, so the appearance of the city and historical & geographical values became to lose. The purpose of the present study is to achieve design approach and development that architecture and the environment can be mutually complemented by giving placity of valuable space formation and a waterfront area through satisfaction of urban function and ecological recovery by proposing a community space through space ecology and a urban cultural value with an architecture technique introducing a 'geographical space' concept.
