Numerical simulations of the autorotative flight of a real maple seed are performed. The center of gravity and the moment of inertia of the sample seed were calculated from the 3-dimensional configuration data obtained with the 3D optical scanning work for the sample seed. The 3D seed configuration data was also used as the body geometry in the calculation of the aerodynamic force acting on the seed and to solve the 6-degree-of freedom motion in its autorotative flight. The spinning rate of the simulation (115 rad/s) agree reasonably well with the measured value of the real seed (127.1 rad/s). However, the descending speed (1.57 m/s) and the coning angle (46°) of the simulation are higher than those of the real seed (1.06 m/s, and 18.0°). It was found that the characteristics of the autorotative flight was very sensitive to the chordwise position of the center of gravity, which determined the value of the moment of inertia about the span axis, and consequently the pitch angle of the seed. The pitch angle was found to be small in magnitude (within 5°), but its effect on the other motion parameters (the spinning rate, the coning angle and the descending speed) was significant.

우리나라의 화물 통계는 다양한 기관에 의해 다양한 목적으로 구축되고 배포되고 있다. 그러나 각 기관별로 통계 수집 목적이 상 이하고 그로인해 발표되는 통계의 형식 또한 상이하여 자료의 활용성 매우 낮은 실정이다. 각 목적에 따라 수집된 원자료 (raw data) 는 합산, 재분류의 과정을 거치게 된다. 특히, 어떤 특정 항목을 기준으로 합산을 할 때 이를 집합화 (aggregated) 된다고 표현하는 데, 화물 통계에서 이 항목들은 대표적으로 품목, 수단, 출·도착지가 될 수 있다. 일단 자료가 어떤 항목(예컨대, 수단별로, 혹은 품목 별로) 집합화 되면 특정 목적에 부합할 뿐 일반적인 활용가치는 대단히 떨어지게 된다. 본 연구의 이러한 집합화의 과정을 다루고 있으며 다음의 세 가지 연구 목적을 가지고 있다. 우선, 기관별로 집계하고 발표하는 다양한 형태의 화물 물동량 자료를 총체적으로 살펴보고 이를 요약 하고자 한다. 둘째, 여러 기관에서 제시하는 물동량을 품목별, 수단별, 출도착지별(O/D), 통행발생/최종 유입지 별 (P/C)별로 구분하여 이를 수리적 형태로 표현하고자 한다. 셋, 이 수리적 표현이 궁극적으로 OR(Operations Research)모형에 어떻 게 적용될 수 있는지를 타진하고자 한다. 본 연구가 국내 물동량 조사를 살펴본 결과 14개 기관이 각기 다른 목적으로 물동량 데이 터를 제공하고 있었다. 하지만 이 자료들을 연결하여 복합적으로 사용하기에는 어려움이 있었다. 한편, Crainic et al.(1990)의 복합운 송(multimodal) 및 다품목(multi-product) Assignment모형의 결정변수에 품목별 물동량에 대하여 수리표현(Formulation)을 적용할 수 있었다.
DLC(Diamond-Like Carbon) 코팅에 의한 오목 폴리머인쇄판의 내구성 및 인쇄 품질 특성

Diamond-like carbon (DLC) films have been widely used in many industrial applications because of their outstanding mechanical and chemical properties like hardness, wear resistance, lubricous property, chemical stability, and uniformity of deposition. Also, DLC films coated on paper, polymer, and metal substrates have been extensively used. In this work, in order to improve the printing quality and plate wear of polymer printing plates, different deposition conditions were used for depositing DLC on the polymer printing plates using the Pulsed DC PECVD method. The deposition temperature of the DLC films was under $100^{\circ}C$, in order to prevent the deformation of the polymer plates. The properties of each DLC coating on the polymer concave printing plate were analyzed by measuring properties such as the roughness, surface morphology, chemical bonding, hardness, plate wear resistance, contact angle, and printing quality of DLC films. From the results of the analysis of the properties of each of the different DLC deposition conditions, the deposition conditions of DLC + F and DLC + Si + F were found to have been successful at improving the printing quality and plate wear of polymer printing plates because the properties were improved compared to those of polymer concave printing plates.
Phenothiazine과 2,1,3-Benzothiadiazole을 포함한 Copolymer의 합성 및Side-chain 치환에 따른 Photovoltaic 특성 연구

In this study, three kinds of polymers based on phenothiazine-benzothiadiazole were synthesized by a Suzuki coupling reaction, and the various side-chains were substituted at the nitrogen of phenothiazine. The optical and electrochemical properties of synthesized polymers were analyzed. The results indicate that their absorption ranged from 300 to 700 nm, and alsoconfirmed the ideal highest occupied molecular orbital (HOMO) energy level was about -5.4 eV with low band-gap energy. Photovoltaic devices were fabricated using a photoactive layer composed of a blended solution of the polymer and PC71BMin ortho-dichlorobenzene The device with P2HDPZ-bTP-OBT containing the branched side-chain and long chain showed the best performance; the maximum power conversion efficiency of this device was 2.4% (with VOC : 0.74 V, JSC : 6.9 mA/cm2,FF : 48.0%).
Phenothiazine계 전도성고분자의 합성 및 유기박막태양전지로의 적용 연구

본 연구에서는 고온 고압반응을 통하여 4종의 전도성 고분자 poly[(N-butyl-phenothiazine)-sulfide] (PBPS), poly[(N-hexyl- phenothiazine)-sulfide] (PHPS), poly[(N-decyl-phenothiazine)-sulfide] (PDPS), poly[(N-(2-ethylhexyl)-phenothiazine)-sulfide] (PEHPS)를 합성하였다. 각 단계의 합성된 화합물의 구조는 1 H-NMR을 통하여 확인하였고, UV-Vis, cyclic voltammetry, GPC를 이용하여 합성된 고분자의 물성을 확인하였다. PBPS, PHPS, PDPS, PEHPS의 최대흡수파장은 각각 338, 341, 340, 334 nm이었으며, 각 고분자의 광학적 밴드 갭은 3.11, 3.13, 3.16, 3.05 eV이었다. 유기박막태양전지로서의 적용가 능성을 확인하기 위해 합성된 고분자를 전자 받개 물질인 PC71BM과 블렌딩하여 ITO/PEDOT : PSS/polymer (PBPS, PDPS) : PC71BM (1 : 3, w/w)/BaF2/Ba/Al 구조의 소자를 제작하였고, solar simulator로 광전변환효율을 측정하였다. PBPS의 광전변환효율은 0.076%이었고, PDPS의 광전변환효율은 0.136%이었다. In this paper, four conducting polymers (poly[(N-butyl-phenothiazine)-sulfide] (PBPS), poly[(N-hexyl-phenothiazine)-sulfide] (PHPS), poly[(N-decyl-phenothiazine)-sulfide] (PDPS), and poly[(N-(2-ethylhexyl)-phenothiazine)-sulfide] (PEHPS)) were synthesized with a high temperature and high pressure reaction. The structures of synthesized polymers were confirmed by 1 H-NMR and characterized by UV-Vis, cyclic voltammetry, and GPC. From the UV-Vis absorption spectra, the λmax values of PBPS, PHPS, PDPS, and PEHPS were 338, 341, 340, and 334 nm, respectively and their optical band gaps were 3.11, 3.13, 3.16, and 3.05 eV, respectively. To evaluate the feasible applicability as a photovoltaic cell, the devices composed of for example, ITO/PEDOT : PSS/polymer (PBPS, PDPS) : PC71BM (1 : 3, w/w)/BaF2/Ba/Al were fabricated using the blends of the PBPS and PDPS as a donor, and PC71BM as an acceptor. Then, the power conversion efficiencies (PCE) of devices were estimated as 0.076% of PBPS and 0.136% of PDPS by solar simulator.
