This research describes the application of hydrocarbon refrigerants for heat pump system which is needed for fish farm. Tested refrigerants are HCFC-22 and hydrocarbon refrigerants(CARE 50 and ASR-20). CARE 50 is mixture of R-290 and R-170, and ASR-20 is mixture of R-152a, R-290 and other additives. Heat pump consist of shell and tube heat exchanger, scroll compressor, expansion valve and accumulator. Manual expansion valve is used for testing of wide range evaporating temperature. Hydrocarbon refrigerants show a good performance as an alternative for HCFC-22 in the range of evaporating temperature from -6℃ to 6℃.

This study aims to explore the social values, norms and ideologies reflected in the discourses of innovative schools in South Korea and to find out how innovative schools are symbolized in South Korean education. Applying critical discourse analysis, Chosun Ilbo and Hankyoreh were selected as the representative media. The focus of this article was on how these two representative media treat texts on innovative schools in terms of structures, genre and nuance. This was to find out what is represented in the text. Throughout the analysis, it appeared that the Chonsun Ilbo stresses the negative sides of innovative schools and the discourses constituted educational propaganda of so-called superintendents from progressive parties and their relationship with special groups such as the Korean Teachers and Educational Workers Union(KTU) especially during the election period. On the other hand, Hankyoreh highlighted the critical meaning of public education reform in the discourses of innovative schools. Therefore, the texts were formed based on the premise that it should be expanded gradually in South Korea. Thus, the discourses were represented in given examples of positive changes in education through innovative schools. From these findings, the researchers were able to show how social discourse on innovative schools is formed. Consequently, we suggest that the political as well as policy-level interests and conflicts should be resolved and agreed by priority to support innovative schools as part of a critical public education reform plan.

Government uses some sections of intended areas of abolition in Development Restricted Zones(DRZ) to construct a million national rental houses. It has been opposed by environmental NGOs, local governments and land owners. Therefore, government carried out a questionnaire survey to make plans for the better development of housing estates for national rental houses in DRZ. The results of the survey are as follows: First, using abolished DRZ has to be kept to a minimum, though the continued construction of this kind of houses is inevitable. Second, it has to be designed using pro-environmental techniques. Third, the discussion between the interested groups was not enough. Fourth, residents were dissatisfied with the compensation package. The policies based on this research, are as follows: First, meetings for projects presentation and public hearings have to be held on a regular basis. In addition, the consultative council with residents, local NGOs, and local governments should be combined. Second, The plan should promote social integration through the mixing of rental and owner-occupied houses. Third, a compensation policy, which offers land or houses, and not only cash, needs to be introduced.

Fouling is very serious problem in heat exchanger because it rapidly deteriorates the performance of<br/> heat exchanger. Cross-flow heat exchanger with vortex generators is developed, which enhance heat<br/> transfer and reduce fouling. In the present heat exchanger, shell and baffle are removed from the<br/> conventional shell-and-tube heat exchanger. The naphthalene sublimation technique is employed to<br/> measure the local heat transfer coefficients. The experiments are performed for single circular tube,<br/> staggered array tube bank and in-line array tube bank with and without vortex generators. Local and<br/> average Nusselt numbers of single tube and tube bank with vortex generator are investigated and<br/> compared to those of without vortex generator.

If cement can be manufactured with industrial byproducts such as granulated blast furnace slag, phosphogypsum, and waste lime instead of clinker, there would be many advantages, including maximum use of these industrial byproducts for high value-added resources, conservation of natural resources and energy by omitting the use of clinker, minimized environmental pollution problems caused by C02 discharge, and reduction of the production cost. By this reason, in this study, mechanical behavior tests of non-burnt cement concrete were performed, and elasticity modulus and stress-strain relationship of non-burnt cement concrete were proposed. 6 test members were manufactured and tested according to reinforcement ratio and concrete compressive strength. By the test results, there was no difference between ordinary concrete and non-burnt cement concrete of flexural behavior. [n order to verif5, the proposed non-burnt cement concrete model, nonlinear analytical model was derived by using strain compatibility method By the results of comparison between test results, ordinary concrete model and proposed model, The proposed model well predicted the flexural behavior of non-burnt cement concrete.
