        Situational Causal Model Between LMX, Empowerment and Innovation Behavior

        The composition of human resources in industrial sites is becoming global. In Korea, too, the proportion of foreign members in all industrial fields and production sites is increasing. This is the reason why an approach that reflects this reality is needed in the basic unit of competitive sources. Competitiveness starts with value creation, and this progresses through field innovation. Through empirical analysis of this study, it was analyzed that South Korea members showed active actions and attitudes in developing, promoting, and realizing ideas when they strongly recognized the real meaning of empowerment given by leaders. On the other hand, it was found that foreign members do not know the meaning of empowerment itself, so they are often unable to play an active role in the development, promotion, and realization of ideas. In fact, it was analyzed that foreign members generally did not experience positive interactions with LMX and were exposed to simple tasks and controls. In other words, they are being discriminated against in terms of communication problems, compensation system, and work environment. In particular, this phenomenon is exacerbated in the case of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Situational response to foreign workers through improvement of LMX and empowerment should be evaluated as a key management task in a situation where productivity improvement and job unit innovation are urgently needed.

        Situational Relation of Job Crafting, Organizational Support, and Innovation Performance

        Purpose - This study analyzes the situational relationship between the components of job crafting and innovation performance, and based on this, suggests practical alternatives to the effect of the control variables of organizational support. Design/methodology/approach - For this survey, 350 questionnaires were distributed to Korean SME workers from October 5, 2020 to March 20, 2021, and 230 questionnaires were collected. In order to check the validity of the questionnaire, the questionnaire judged to be inappropriate in response was excluded. The recovery rate was 65.7%, and the effectiveness of the questionnaire was 82%. Structural equation model and hierarchical regression analysis are used to analyze those data. Findings - First, job enhancement through job redesign as well as organizational support is a key task in order to expect innovative results from field members. Innovative performance is not created by individual jobs, but is created between jobs and jobs, tasks and tasks, teams and teams, and departments and departments. This is why it is worth paying attention not to the functional approach, but to the interconnection structure of the process. Research implications or Originality - In this study, it was analyzed that structural job resource increase and social job resource increase, which are components of job crafting, had a positive effect on innovation performance, and that challenging job will had no significant effect. Challenging work will itself does not negatively affect innovation performance. Combining the survey and interview, field members who make up the majority of respondents say that they do not lack the will to work. They claim that there is no channel or opportunity to express or practice a challenging will.

        경영교육의 인증기준과 사례에 관한 국제적 비교

        우리나라의 경영교육체제는 지난 50여 년간 산업화와 경제성장을 지원하면서 양적으로는 놀라운 성장을 이룩하였다. 그럼에도 불구하고 90년대 후반 외환위기를 경험하면서 경영교육의 내용과 질이 산업과 기업의 합리적인 성장기반을 강화하는데 부족함이 있었다는 점도 지적되었다. 우리나라 대학에 있어 대다수 경영교욱 관련 기관들은 강의실 교수방법의 의존도 심화, 세분화된 전공영역으로 분리된 교육과정의 운영이라는 공통적인 문제점을 내포하고 있는 것이다. 이러한 문제점들은 일찍이 외국에서도 경험하였던 내용이었다. 이러한 문제점들을 해결하기 위하여 미국은 AACSB, 유럽은 EFMD 등과 같은 인증기관의 경영교육인증 프로그램을 통하여 개선하고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 첫째, AACSB, EFMD 및 한국경영교육인증원의 인증기준과 내용을 소개하고 둘째, 경영교육의 문제점과 개선방안을 검토하며, 셋째, 국내외 사례를 통하여 경영교육의 특성 화와 차별화의 방향을 제시하고자 한다. Business education have developed over the past five decades according to growth of the industry and economy in Korea. But the quality of business education have limited influenced and mismatched on the healthful progress and development in Korean industries. The majority of administrative business department of Korean universities have similar curriculum that severely divided into functional approach and subjects by the traditional customs. The focus of this paper is to introduce the accreditation criteria of KABEA(Korean Association of Business Education Accreditation), AACSB and EFMD to review and analyze the business education course and conditions in Korean university and to provide the accreditation experience of wonkwang university(focused on the design of mission, vision and strategic objective in business education accreditation). The motto of Wonkwang University is cultivation of both Knowledge and morality and practice of moral principle. On the basis of the educational goals of the nation and the founding principle of Won-Buddhism, the educational goal of Wonkwang University is to prepare students to serve the country and to contribute to the progress of society. At Wonkwang university, educators and students endeavor to acquire good moral sensibility to serve the community. Department of business administration is mission-driven in its planning, policies, procedures, and organizational actions. The processes of identifying Core Values and education Objectives and of revising the Select Mission have been open and collaborative. This has made Wonkwang University’s purposes and priorities more transparent and widely understood in Business Education Accreditation. Finally, this paper analyzed and provided the problem and alternative of the accreditation criteria of KABEA

        The Causality of Empowerment on Job Crafting: Focus on the Moderating Variable of LMX

        It is getting more intensified with the competition among participating companies for global market share in major industrial fields. The situation is accelerating especially within the top 5 market share, and these include electric vehicles, semiconductors, chemicals, and shipbuilding industries. The key to the advantage over the competition within a strategic group is which company leads the innovation in the field. On-the-ground innovation refers to job-based innovation. This paper aims to analyze job unit innovation in the structure of empowerment, LMX, and job crafting. Existing studies on job crafting have suggested a causal structure based on job design in the traditional sense, and there are not many scholars who study the causal structure using a job situational model. Therefore, this paper takes an approach from the perspective of the job situation. As a result of the study, LMX showed a moderating effect on the relationship between autonomy provision and job crafting. While, in the relationship between meaing-giving and cognitive crafting, there is no significant moderating effect shown on the relationship between autonomy provision and cognitive crafting. Therefore, the results of the analysis in this study suggest that the meaning of jobs and participation in decision-making should be managed in an integrated way in structural and design areas, not just qualitative factors such as empowerment and leadership.

        주야간 겸용 표면영상유속계 개발을 위한 원적외선 카메라의 적용성 검토

        홍수시 하천의 유속 측정을 위한 표면영상유속계에서 가장 기본이 되는 단계는 적절한 영상을 취득하는 것이다. 하지만 영상 획득에 있어 야간에 발생하는 홍수 흐름을 촬영하는 것은 매우 어렵다. 이에 본 연구에서는 표면영상 유속계의 야간 영상 획득 장치로 원적외선 카메라를 이용하는 방안을 검토하였다. 원적외선 카메라는 별도의 조명을 필요로 하지 않으므로, 주야간 모두 영상을 획득할 수 있는 장점이 있다. 또한 안개나 연기의 영향을 받지 않아서 고정식 표면영상유속계를 구성하는 좋은 대안이 될 수 있다. 원적외선 영상을 이용한 유속 산정의 결과를 비교하기 위해, 보통의 가시광 카메라와 근적외선 카메라를 이용한 동시 촬영을 하여 영상을 분석하였다. 아울러 소형 프로펠러 유속계에 의한 유속 측정 자료와 비교하였다. 정확도 분석 결과 원적외선의 주간 영상을 이용할 경우 최소-9%에서 최대 -19%의 오차를 나타냈고, 야간 영상을 이용할 경우 최소 -10%에서 최대 -23%의 오차를 나타냈다. 또한 일반캠코더를 이용한 경우와 비교하여 최대 10% 이내의 차이를 보였기 때문에 주야간 유속 측정에 원적외선 카메라의 적용이 가능한 것을 확인하였다. 다만 주간 영상에 비해 야간 영상이 약간 흐려지는 경향이 있기 때문에, 이러한 영상을 적절히 분석하기 위한 지속적인 연구가 필요할 것으로 생각한다. In flow velocity measurement of natural rivers, taking images with proper image quality is the fundamental and the most important step. Since flood peaks generally occur in night time, it is very difficult to capture proper images in that time. The present study aims to test a far infra-red camera as a adequate alternative to resolve the various problems in measuring flood discharges. The far infra-red cameras are able to capture images in night time without help of any extra illuminations. Futhermore they are not affected by fog nor smoke, hence they can be adapted for a fixed-type surface image velocimeters. For comparison, a commercial camcorder and a near infra-red cameras were used together. The test images were taken at a day time and a night time, and the image acquisition work were performed at an artificial flow channel of the Andong River Experiment Station. The analyzed results showed that the far infra-red camera would be a good instrument for surface image velocimeters, since they were able to capture regardless light condition. There are, however, a few minor problems in their accuracy of the analyzed results. About their accuracy a more study would be required.

        사회보험 지원사업에 있어 사용자 인식에 관한 실증적 연구

        본 연구는 사회보험에 대한 사용자의 인식과 사회보험 가입 확대를 위한 두루누리사업에 대한 사용자의 만족도 사이의 관계성 분석을 통하여 사회보험 활성화 정책에 관한 정보와 제언을 제공하기 위하여 수행되었다. 사용자의 인식에 미치는 독립변수(사회보험에 대한 사용자의 인식, 사회보험의 사회적 위험 대비성, 사회보험 본인부담비율 등)의 효과를 분석하기 위하여 구조방정식 모델을 적용하였다. 실증분석을 통하여 응답자들은 사회보험의 효과성과 본인부담비율에 대하여 비교적 부정적 인식을 가지고 있는 것으로 조사되었다. 또한 사회보험에 대한 만족도에서는 보통수준의 인식을 가지고 있는 것으로 분석되었다. 그러나 본 조사에 참여한 사용자들은 사회적 보험 자체의 필요성에 대해서는 긍정적인 인식을 가지고 있는 것으로 조사되었다. 또한 정부가 사회보험 가입에 있어 추가적인 제도개선에 나선다면 두루누리사업에 적극적으로 참여할 의지를 가지고 있는 것으로 분석되었다. 결론적으로 사용자들은 사회보험 시스템 자체에 대하여는 긍정적 인식을 가지고 있으나 가입확대를 위해서는 좀 더 많은 지원과 위험대비 실효성이 강화되어야할 것으로 인식하고 있다. This study was conducted to provide the information on the facilitation policy of social insurance through analyzing the relationship between employer’s cognition on the social insurance and satisfaction degree of DURUNURI project. In order to analyze the effect of independent variables(employee’s cognition on the social insurance, social risk-prevent effect of social insurance, self-sharing ratio of the social insurance) on the employer’s cognition, this study applied the LISREL. By means of empirical study, samples are recognized as the relatively negative response on the effectiveness of social insurance and self-sharing ratio of the social insurance. recognized an intermediate-point response on the degree of satisfaction to the function of social insurance. However, many employers who participated in this research recognized a positive perspectives on the necessities of the social insurance system itself. Also, if the government try to develop the additional inducement of the policy, they would have a active will on the DURUNURI project. In conclusion, they have a positive philosophy on the social insurance system. However, they also have a desire for additional incentives for social insurance system.

        Culture, Empowerment and Openness for Change

        글로벌 경기침체기의 중국기업도 혁신이 필요한 상황에 처해 있다. 이에 본 연구는 중국 기업체를 대상으로 조직문화와 임파워먼트 및 조직구성원의 변화 개방성의 상황적 관계를 실증분석을 통하여 분석하였다. 실증분석은 설문조사 방식으로 수행되었으며 구조방정식 모델을 적용하였다. 실증분석을 통하여 외향적 문화(시장지향적 문화)를 구축하는 것이 개인의 변화에 대한 개방성을 향상시키는 효과적인 접근 방식임을 시사하고 있다. 따라서 경영자들은 구성원의 본질적인 변화 동기를 개선하여 혁신을 촉진하고 조직에 혁신가치와 시장성과 중심의 관리 및 평가기조를 유지하는 것이 필요함을 제시하고 있다. 또한 시장지향적 문화 조성을 위해서는 구성원에 대한 임파워먼트가 중요함을 확인하였다. 이는 권한 부여를 통해 개인의 변화에 대한 적극성을 유도할 수 있기 때문이다. 이는 일찍이 Erstad (1997)가 제안한 권한부여 및 조직변화 모델의 타당성을 확인한 것이다. 아울러 경영자는 팀워크 지원(Cook, 1994), 정보 공유 및 학습을 통해 구성원의 임파워먼트를 촉진할 수 있음을 확인하였다. 이러한 권한부여 전략은 구성원들이 변화의 대상을 이해하도록 하고 변화의 도전에 대처할 수 있는 더 많은 기회를 제공하기 때문이다. 뿐만 아니라 환경중시 조직문화와 변화에 대한 개방성 사이에 권한부여가 매개변수의 역할을 수행하는 것으로 확인되었다. Chinese companies in the global economic downturn are also in need of innovation. In this viewpoint, this study analyzed the contextual relationship between organizational culture and empowerment and openness to change of organizational members through empirical analysis for Chinese companies. The empirical analysis was conducted by a questionnaire survey and a structural equation model was applied. Based on the empirical analysis, it is suggested that establishing an extroverted culture(market- oriented culture) is an effective approach to improving individual openness to change. Therefore, managers suggest that it is necessary to promote innovation by improving the intrinsic motivation for change of members, and to maintain the management and evaluation stance centered on innovation value and market performance in the organization. In addition, it was confirmed that empowerment for members is important to create a market-oriented culture. This is because it is possible to induce an individual s positive attitude toward change through authorization. This confirms the validity of the model for empowerment and organizational change proposed by Erstad (1997) earlier. In addition, it was confirmed that managers can promote employee empowerment through teamwork support (Cook, 1994), information sharing and learning. This is because these empowerment strategies help members understand the targets of change and provide more opportunities to cope with the challenges of change. In addition, it was confirmed that the empowerment between the environment-oriented organizational culture and openness to change plays a role as a parameter.
