한약재의 Cytochrome P450 결합관련 안전성에 관한 연구

Objectives : This study was performed to investigate the metabolic site of some medicinal herbs in the liver associated with CYP (Cytochrome P450). Methods : Cytochrome P450 is the major enzymes involved in drug metabolism and bioactivation. CYP3A4 and CYP2D6, the major CYP isoforms in humans, catalyse the major proportion of drugs available on the market. Scintillation proximity assay (SPA) is often used in studies to identify compounds that inhibit CYP3A4 and CYP2D6. 28 herbal extracts and radioisotopes were attached competitively to SPA beads, and followed by measuring the remaining radioisotopes in the medium. Erythromycin and dexamethasone, inhibitors of CYP3A4 and CYP2D6, were used as controls respectively. Results : Most of the 28 herbal extracts showed dose-dependent affinity to the CYP3A4 while some of the herbs showed affinity to the CYP2D6. Conclusions : These results suggest that most of the 28 herbal extracts are metabolized safely in the liver, combined with CYP3A4 and CYP2D6.
비진공 방법에 의한 CIGS/CZTS계 박막 태양전지 제조

Inorganic semiconductor compounds, e.g., CIGS and CZTS, are promising materials for thin film solar cells because of their high light absorption coefficient and stability. Research on thin film solar cells using this compound has made remarkable progress in the last two decades. Vacuum-based processes, e.g., co-evaporation and sputtering, are well established to obtain high-efficiency CIGS and/or CZTS thin film solar cells with over 20 % of power conversion. However, because the vacuum-based processes need high cost equipment, they pose technological barriers to producing low-cost and large area photovoltaic cells. Recently, non-vacuum based processes, for example the solution/nanoparticle precursor process, the electrodeposition method, or the polymer-capped precursors process, have been intensively studied to reduce capital expenditure. Lately, over 17 % of energy conversion efficiency has been reported by solution precursors methods in CIGS solar cells. This article reviews the status of non-vacuum techniques that are used to fabricate CIGS and CZTS thin films solar cells.
경부고속도로 개통 50년의 사회경제적 직접효과 평가 연구

경부고속도로는 서울과 부산을 연결하는 국토대동맥으로써 여객과 화물수송의 역할 뿐 만 아니라 산업과 도시발전에 영향을 주었다. 본 연구는 1970년 개통한 경부고속도로가 사회경제 적으로 미친 직접적인 효과를 정량적으로 도출하였으며, 보다 신뢰성 있는 결과도출을 위하여 과거 시점의 네트워크 구축 및 O/D교통량추정, 편익계수의 보정방법론을 제시하였다. 1970년 당시 경부고속도로가 미건설된 경우, 경부고속도로 개통이 10년 지연된 경우, 세계은행의 제안 과 같이 경부고속도로 대신 서울~대전, 또는 서울~강릉 간 유료도로가 개통되는 경우의 시나 리오를 설정하였으며, 각 시나리오와 현재의 차량운행비용, 통행시간비용, 교통사고비용, 환경 오염비용을 산정․비교하여 직접편익을 추정하였다. 분석 결과를 통해 1970년 경부고속도로 개통은 10년 지연되었을 때와 비교하여 약 351조의 직접편익이 발생하는 것으로 추정되었으 며, 이는 당시 경부고속도로 건설사업 추진이 우리나라 사회경제에 막대한 영향을 주었다는 것을 알 수 있다. This study quantitatively derived the direct socio-economic effects of the Gyeongbu Expressway, which opened in 1970, and suggested a methodological approach for more reliable results. The scenario was set when the Gyeongbu Expressway was not constructed in 1970, the opening of the Gyeongbu Expressway was delayed by 10 years, and the toll road between Seoul and Daejeon, or between Seoul and Gangneung was opened instead of the Gyeongbu Expressway as suggested by the World Bank. In addition, direct benefits were estimated by calculating and comparing the current vehicle operating costs, travel time costs, traffic accident costs, and environmental pollution costs. As a result, it was estimated that about 351 trillion won in direct benefits occurred, and it can be seen that the promotion of the construction project of the Gyeongbu Expressway at that time had a huge impact on South Korea's social economy.
