심전도의 앙상블 경험적 모드 분해를 활용한 데이터 기반 심실세동 컴퓨터 보조 진단 기법

본 논문에서는 부정맥(Arrhythmia)의 대표적 증상인 심실세동(Ventricular fibrillation, VF)의 컴퓨터 보조 진단을 위해 심전도(Electrocardiogram, ECG)에 앙상블 경험적 모드 분해(Ensemble Empirical Mode Decomposition, EEMD)를 이용하여 검출하는 기법을 제안한다. 심전도 신호의 EEMD 분해를 사용하여 EMD 영역에서 심실세동이 정상맥(Normal sinus rhythm, NSR)과 다른 종류의 부정맥 심전도에 비해서 내재 모드 함수(Intrinsic mode functions, IMFs)와 더 높은 상관관계를 가진다. 이 특성을 정량화 하기 위해 심전도 신호와 특정 IMF들 간의 각도(angle)를 구하고 각도에 따른 병리 상태를 분류한다. 제안하는 알고리즘의 유효성을 검증하기위해 PhysioNet 데이터베이스의 부정맥 데이터를 사용해 진단 정확도를 측정하여 제안기법의 우수성을 확인하였다. In this paper, we propose a novel computer-aided diagnosis method to detect VF(ventricular fibrillation), one of the hazardous cardiac symptoms of arrhythmia by applying the EEMD(Ensemble Empirical Mode Decomposition) to the ECG signals. Using the EEMD to the ECG signals, it is shown that VF in the EMD region has a higher correlation with the IMFs (intrinsic mode functions) than the NSR (normal sinus rhythm) and other types of arrhythmia. To quantify this characteristic, we calculate the angle between the ECG signal and the specific IMFs, and classify the pathology by differentiating the angles. To verify the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm, we measured the accuracy of diagnosis using arrhythmia data from the PhysioNet database and confirm capacity of the proposed method.

This study is a literature study about the estimation of ground water thermal energy potential. Recently, the ground water thermal energy was included as one kind of renewable energy on the related laws in Korea. As a result, a new opportunity and energy market is open to use water thermal energy as a renewable energy. For the efficient use of ground water thermal energy, accurate estimation of energy potential is critical. However, there is no reliable standard for flow rate in rivers and for usable water amount in lakes, which makes the estimation more difficult. The widely used temperature difference for the estimation is 5°C but more study and review should be carried out to justify the temperature difference more logically. Also, the logical approaches were suggested to evaluate the theoretical, technological, biographical, and market energy potential of ground water.
미니 다채널 내부 흐름비등 조건에서 열전달 및 유동가시화 연구

An experimental study was performed to measure the flow boiling heat transfer coefficient and visualize the flow patterns in multi-ported rectangular channels with 0.5 ㎜ hydraulic diameter. The working fluid was HFE-7100. HFE-7100 was heated by pre-heater and a brass test-section with 15 cartridge heaters. With the change of heat flux to HFE-7100, the flow boiling heat transfer coefficients were measured and flow patterns were visualized in middle part of test-section. The mass fluxes of test were set as 200, 250, 300㎏/㎡s. The range of heat fluxes were 5,7.5 ㎾/㎡.
수열 에너지 부존량 예측 및 활용에 관한 국내외 사례조사

This study is a literature review about the estimation of hydrothermal energy potential and the application cases of hydrothermal energy. The current status of the hydro thermal energy was checked out in the classification of new and renewable energy on the related laws in Korea, and this classification was compared with other renewable energy classification and regimes in foreign countries. For the estimation of the hydrothermal energy potential, a relatively simple equation can be used. However, there is no reliable standard for flow rate in rivers and for usable water amount in lakes, which makes the estimation more difficult. The widely used teperature difference for the estimation is 5℃ but more study and review should be carried out to justify the 5℃temperature difference more logically. From the case studies, it was confirmed that the energy cost for the operation of heating and cooling systems in buildings could be significantly reduced by the hydrothermal energy application. If sufficient investigation and analysis are performed properly in a project preparatory phase, hydrothermal energy will provide sufficient economic competitiveness compared with other conventional energy sources

원자력 발전소의 오작동이나 사고는 인명이나 재산상의 큰 피해를 초래하므로 엄격한 안전 기준을 적용하고 있다. 따라서 원자력 발전소의 안전성과 관련된 원전용 제어기는 높은 수준의 신뢰도와 안전도가 요구된다. 이를 위해 디지털 방식의 제어기에 PLC 방식의 제어기와 PLD 방식의 제어기를 사용하여 다양성을 얻고 있다. 본 논문에서는 PLD 방식의 원전용 트립제어기의 Functional Verification을 위하여 RTL 수준의 설계에 대한 Functional Coverage 분석을 사용하였다. 테스트벤치는 System Verilog에서 제공되는 클래스에 기반한 구조적 테스트벤치를 작성하여 사용하였다.

Lemierre's syndrome is a rare disease that primarily occurs in adolescents and young adults. It is characterized by thrombophlebitis of internal jugular vein and bacteremia after acute oropharyngeal infection. The main causative bacteria of this disease is Fusobacterium necrophorum. We report a case of 10-year-old male, who presented with persistent fever and right internal jugular vein thrombosis and obliterance. 단열 조건의 판형 열교환기 내부에서 HFE-7100의 액체-기체 유동 가시화 연구

This experimental study was carried out to visualize the flow in the flow path between the chevron corrugated two plates in a heat exchanger. HFE7100 were used as working fluid. A test section was made to visualize the flow characteristics in the flow channels formed by a metal plate with chevron patterns and transparent replica of the counterpart plate. The two phase condition at the test section inlet was controlled by a pre-heater powered by electricity. A test facility was built up to visualize the flow pattern at the condition of upward flow at the test section. The mass flux was controlled at 60 ㎏/㎡·s. The inlet vapor quality was varied from 0.05 to 0.5. The visualization was performed by a high speed camera with 1800fps. The visualized flow patterns showed that the wetted area by liquid phase increased with the increase of vapor quality up to 0.5 at the test section.
