The reliability analysis are performed for the bearing capacity of strip foundation using the point estimate method. The measure of the safety of structure is expressed in terms of the probability of failure instead of the conventional factor of safety. The analysis of the uncertainties around input parameter which is involved soil, site and loading condition introduce a measurable uncertainty on the prediction of bearing capacity of strip foundation. Both the soil properties and loads are assumed to be probability variables, and considered correlations of each variated. And as expected, the difference in the probability of failure of bearing between beta and normal distribution seems to be insignificant for practical use but the probability of failure by the given value of the correlation of each variable is more sensitive than that of not to be considered case. If probabilistic analysis techniques are to be adopted, it will be necessary to develop probability based tolerable bearing capacity criteria.
非晶質(Fe_(1-x)Ni_x)_80B_20 合金의 結晶化 過程에 대한 速度論的 硏究

The thermal stability for the amorphous (Fe_(1-x)Ni_x)_80 B20 alloys has been studied systematically through DTA, X-ray diffraction pattern and the electrical resistance change response to temperature and time variations. 1) The crystallization temperature decreases with Ni content from 770°K(X=0.1) to 670°K(X=0.6) at 5℃/min heating rate. 2) The crystallization activation energy decreases with Ni content from 88.4kcal/mole(X=0.2) to 62.6kcal/mole (X=0.6) 3) Phase transformation by the crystallization occurs as follows ⅰ) X≤0.3 : Amorphous → γ(f.c.c) + Fe_2B (Tetragonal) ⅱ) X=0.6 : Amorphous → γ(f.c.c) + Ni(f.c.c) + Ni_3B(Orthorhombic)
소아와 성인에서 Vecuronium 사용후 Neostigmine 의 효과

To determine Whether neoatigmine had different effecta in pediatric patients and adults during vecuronium neuromuscalar blockade, the rate of recovery following neostigmine admimistration was compared in children (n=10, group I) and adulta (n=10, group II) during nitrous oxide-Halothane anesthesia. After induction of anesthesia, patients received 100 μg/kg of vecuronium. Reversal was attempted at 10% spontaneous recovery of twitdi height, Neostigmine (30 μg/kg in children, 40 μg/kg in adults) was injected in a single bolus dose. During the first few minutes following neostigmine admimistration, no differences were obaerved between the two groups, Ten minutes after neostigmine admmistration, the first twitch (mean±SD) reached 95±2%, 93±2% of control value in children and adults respectively. The more complete recovery of the eighth minutes in children could be due to the faster rate of spontaneous recovery from vercuronium induced neuromuscular blockade in children.
