작은가슴근의 단축이 등세모근과 큰가슴근의 근 활성도에 미치는 영향

PURPOSE: The purpose of this study was to determine the effects of the length of the pectoralis minor on muscle activity of trapezius and pectoralis major in subjects in subjects with shortened pectoralis minor muscle. METHOD: The subjects was participated in 36 with shortened pectoralis minor muscle. All subjects was examined the length test of pectoralis minor muscle. we divided by 3 groups. group Ⅰ(n=12) was for 4∼5cm of length of pectoralis minor muscle, group Ⅱ(n=12) was for 5∼6cm, group Ⅲ(n=12) was for above 6cm. The EMG activity of upper trapezius, middle trapezius, lower trapezius and pectoralis major muscle activity was measured by surface EMG while elevationg the right arm in sitting postion with head to the neutral, shoulder elevation 135° with scaption. Data were analyed using one-way ANOVA with a Tukey post hoc test. RESULT: The EMG activity differed significantly among the three groups(p<.05). The group Ⅲ had significantly greater EMG activity of upper trapezius and pectoralis major muscles than group Ⅰ and Ⅱ(p<.05). Also, The group Ⅲ had significantly smaller EMG activity of lower trapezius muscle than group Ⅰ and Ⅱ(p<.05). But, these was no significant difference in the EMG activity of the middle trapezius muscle among the groups (p.05). CONCLUSION: Therefore, the result of this study should be suggested that the shortened pectoralis minor muscle was affected the EMG activity of the upper trapezius, lower trapezius and pectoralis major. Ultimately the length of the pectoralis minor muscle leads to the muscle imbalance in shoulder girdle.

The purpose of this study is to find out factors(shoulder level, acromion-occipital length, spine alignment, spine-scapula inferior angle length) of pain of neck & shoulder by 3 Dimensional Moire Scanner. 50 female student s aged 20 to 25 years old participated who lived in Sun-cheon si Jeonnam. They were examined with three measurement methods(Visual Analogue Scale : VAS, Algometer, 3 Dimensional Moire Scanner(IBS-2000). According to the results of multiple regression analysis. 1) There was a significant difference with shoulder level and spine-scapula inferior angle based on VAS. 2) There was a significant difference with shoulder level based of Algometer measurement value in Rhomboid muscles.

Purpose : This study aims to investigate how aerobic exercise and aerobic exercise programs with half bath can affect body composition and pulmonary function. Methods : A total of 20 subjects were enrolled in this study. The subjects were divided into two groups: aerobic exercise with half-bath program (n = 10) and only aerobic exercise (n = 10). The two groups performed the exercise four times a week over a period of 5 weeks. The Wilcoxon test was used to compare the data before and after significant difference of factors in each group;and the Mann-Whitney test was used for a comparison between groups. Results : In this study;the results showed the following. On the aerobic exercise with half-bath program group;by comparing the body composition before and after intervention;there was a significant difference in the amount of skeletal muscle and body fat. However;by comparing pulmonary functions before and after intervention;there was no significant difference in FVC;FEV1;and VC. Conclusion : According to our results;it seems that the aerobic program with half bath might have an effect on body composition.
신장운동의 적용방식이 무지외반증의 각도와 근활성도 변화에 미치는 영향

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to effect of application methods of stretching exercise on angular variation and muscle activation changes in the hallux valgus. Method : This study was performed on twenty subjects. Twenty subjects were divided into two groups; Agonist Contraction(AC)(n=10), Hold-relax with Agonist Contraction(HR-AC)(n=10). Both of the group performed the exercise 5 times a week for 6 weeks. The data was analyzed by the paired t-test for comparing before and after changes of factors in each group and the independent t-test for comparing the between groups. Result : In the within group comparisons, HR-AC group abductor hallucis muscle activity showed significant difference between before and after the intervention(p<0.01). And all the two groups, there were significant decreased in hallux valgus angle(p<0.01). In the comparison of the two groups, there were significant difference among the two groups in abductor hallucis muscle activity(p<0.01). Conclusion : The findings of this study, we found that the HR-AC technique were more effective than AC technique in increase in abductor hallucis muscle activity.
발목 불안정환자에 대한 전신음파진동기와 토구를 이용한 불안정 지지면 운동의 효과 비교

Purpose : Chronic ankle instability can lead to problems in balance and gait due to weakness of the ankle muscles and decreased proprioceptive sensation. Balance training that stimulates proprioceptors is necessary to improve ankle stability. We aimed to compare the effects of unstable support balance exercises using whole body sonic vibration and an aero-step (TOGU) on proprioception and balance in individuals with unilateral functional ankle instability. Methods : Thirty-six participants with unilateral functional ankle instability were randomly recruited and divided into two groups (group 1 = sonic whole body vibration, group 2= TOGU). Individuals in each group participated in training for 5 weeks, 40 minutes per session, 5 times per week, and performed weight-bearing exercises in five postures on different unstable support surfaces. Proprioception was measured by digital inclinometer (Dualer IQ), and balance was measured by force platform (Biodex balance system). Results : Significant differences were observed in proprioception before and after intervention within both group (p<.05). Significant differences were also observed in the balance index before and after intervention within both groups (p<.05). Conclusion : As a result of this study, it is suggested that for individuals with ankle instability, unstable support surface training using a whole body sonic vibrator and TOGU can have a positive effects on proprioception and balance ability.
안정화 운동과 근력운동이 비특이성 요통환자의 통증, 관절가동범위, 근력, 근 두께에 미치는 영향

Purpose : The purpose of this study was to find the effects of the lumbar stabilization exercise and strength exercise on pain, ROM, strength, muscle thickness of low back pain(LBP) patients. Method : The subjects were consisted of twelve patients who had nonspecific LBP. All subjects randomly assigned to lumbar stabilization exercise group(N=6) and strength exercise group(N=6). We measured muscular strength, ROM by using Tergumed-extension, rotation and muscle thickness by using ultrasonography and pain score by using Visual analog scale(VAS). The lumbar stabilization exercise group received TOGU exercise, strength exercise group received Tergumed exercise. The data analyzed by repeated measure of Independent t-test, paired t-test, reliability test. Result : The results were as follows. The result which measured of the change of pain score was a significant decrease. The result which measured of the change of ROM and strength was a significant increase. The result which measured of the change of the Internal abdominal oblique, External abdominal oblique on muscle thickness was a significant increase. Stabilization exercise group and Strength exercise group showed the significant difference in muscle thickness on Transversus abdominis, Multifidus. Stabilization exercise group was more increased in muscle thickness. Conclusion : Therefore, we suggest that stabilization exercise is effective for non-specific low back pain.
뇌졸중 환자에게 적용된 흡기근 훈련에 관한 국내 연구 동향 분석 : 체계적 고찰

Purpose : This study aimed to analyze the effectiveness of inspiratory muscle training(IMT) studies for stroke patients conducted over the past 10 years(2011–2020) in Korea. Methods : Previous literature was electronically searched using the RISS, KISS, KCI, and NDSL databases. Tree databases were searched for stroke IMT articles. A total of 12 studies were selected according to the PRISMA guidelines, and the Jeong’g qualitative evaluation criteria were used to refer to the checklist presented by the Scottish Intercollegiate Guideline Network. Results : Twelve studies met the criteria. In a qualitative evaluation on the papers, one study scored 8 out of 10, seven scored between 6 and 7, and four scored 5. Intervention sessions were conducted between 20 and 30 min, each at a frequency of three to five sessions per week, for a total of 4–8 weeks. The results indicated that IMT effectively improved respiratory function, physical activity, and respiratory muscle function in stroke patients. Conclusion : IMT was found to have a positive effect on respiratory function, physical activity, and respiratory muscle function in stroke patients.
골반 중립에 따른 뒤넙다리근 수동 신장 운동이 유연성과 족저압에 미치는 영향

Purpose : The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of flexibility and foot pressure on stretching exercise of hamstring muscle with and without pelvis neutral position. Methods : This study was performed on 30 subjects. Thirty subjects were divided into two group; hamstring passive stretching exercise with pelvis neutral position(n=15), hamstring passive stretching exercise without pelvis neutral position(n=15). Both of the group performed the exercise 4 times a week for 6 weeks. The data was analyzed by the paired t-test for comparing before and after changes of factors in each group and the independent t-test for comparing the between groups. Results : The results were as follows. There was statistically significant difference of before and after hamstring flexibility, foot pressure in pelvis neutral position(p<0.05). There was statistically significant difference of before and after hamstring flexibility, foot pressure without pelvis neutral position group(p<0.05). There was no statistically significant difference of between the two group in hamstring flexibility, foot pressure(p>0.05). Conclusion : As a result of this study, though no statistically significant difference of the between groups, we suggest that stretching exercise of hamstring muscle with pelvic neutral may be effective more than stretching exercise of hamstring muscle without pelvic neutral in flexibility, foot pressure.
음파진동기와 스위스볼을 이용한 허리안정화운동이 근육두께와 수축시간에 미치는 영향

Purpose : The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects on the muscle thickness and contraction time using sound wave vibrator and swiss ball. Methods : This study was performed on 20 subjects. 20 subjects were divided into two groups; Lumbar stability exercise using sound wave vibrator exercise(n=10)(Group1), Lumbar stability exercise using Swiss ball exercise(n=10)(Group2). Both of the group performed the exercise 3 times a week for 5 weeks. The data was analyzed by the paired t-test to compare before and after difference of factors on each group and the Independent t-test to compare the between groups. Results : Both group were increased muscle contracture time on Straight Leg Rise(SLR) test (p<0.05). It means both group were increased lumbar stability. However, by comparing the between groups, there were no statistically significant difference about muscle thickness of multifidus and transverse abdominal.(p>0.05). Conclusion : As a result of this study, we suggest that the sound wave vibrator may be effective exercise tool for lumbar stability exercise like a swiss ball.
