      • 단절 및 거절도식과 결혼만족과의 관계에서 지각된 배우자지지의 매개효과: 자기효과 및 상대방효과 검증

        본 연구는 단절 및 거절도식과 결혼만족 간의 관계에서 지각된 배우자지지의 매개역할을 자기효과와 상대방효과로 검증하는 것이다. 이를 위해 결혼기간이 1년 이상인 부부 458명(229쌍)을 대상으로 단절 및 거절도식 척도, 지각된 배우자지지 척도, 개정판 부부적응 척도를 사용하였다. 자료분석은 자기-상대방 상호의존 모형(Actor-Partner Interdependent: APIM; Kenny, 1996)을 사용하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 단절 및 거절도식이 결혼만족에 미치는 자기효과와 상대방효과 모두 유의하지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 단절 및 거절도식이 지각된 배우자지지에 미치는 자기효과와 상대방효과는 모두 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 지각된 배우자지지가 결혼만족에 미치는 자기효과와 상대방효과는 성별에 따라 차이를 보였다. 우선 남편과 아내의 자기효과는 모두 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 하지만 아내의 상대방효과는 유의하게 나온 반면, 남편의 상대방효과는 유의하지 않은 것으로 확인되었다. 넷째, 단절 및 거절도식과 결혼만족과의 관계에서 지각된 배우자지지의 매개효과 중 자기효과는 존재하는 것으로 확인되었다. 그러나 지각된 배우자지지의 상대방효과는 남편과 아내 간 성차가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 우선, 지각된 배우자지지는 아내의 단절 및 거절도식과 아내와 남편의 결혼만족 사이를 매개하는 것으로 확인되었다. 반면, 지각된 배우자지지는 남편의 단절 및 거절도식과 아내의 결혼만족을 매개하지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 부부상담 및 결혼상담에 대한 시사점과 추후연구를 위한 제언을 논의하였다. This study was conducted to examine the mediating effect of perceived marital support in the relationship between 229 couples married for more than a year participated in this study. The data was analyzed by using APIM(Actor-Partner Interdependent Model; Kenny, 1996). The results indicated disconnection and rejection schema has no relation to actor effect and partner effect in marriage satisfaction. Second, disconnection and rejection schema was related to both actor effect and partner effect in perceived marital support. Third, there was a significant difference between gender regards to both actor effect and partner effect when perceived marital support influences on marriage satisfaction. Both genders’ actor effect was related to marriage satisfaction through perceived marital support. However, while wives’ partner effect had an impact on marriage satisfaction through perceived marital support, husbands’ did not. The results indicated actor effect existed in the mediator effect of perceived marital support in the relationship of disconnection and rejection schema and marriage satisfaction. However, wives and husbands partner effect on perceived marital support were significantly different. The results indicated perceived marital support mediates the relationship between wives’ disconnection and rejection schema and both wives’ and husbands’ marriage satisfaction. On the other hand, perceived marital support did not mediate the relationship between husbands’ disconnection and rejection schema and wives’ marriage satisfaction. Implications for counseling practice and future studies were discussed.

        Antimicrobial resistance has brought serious problems from widespread occurrences in agricultural soil, crops, and clinical facilities since both agricultural and clinical environments are closely related to human life. Because of the emergence and rapid expansion of antibiotic-resistant pathogenic bacteria, the antibiotic resistance issue has gained considerable attention. It has been known that most antibiotic resistances are acquired resistance, but there is also a high potential for lateral transfer of antibiotic resistance genes from other microorganisms, which are ecologically and taxonomically distinct. Some antibiotic resistance enzymes, aminoglycoside-inactivating enzymes possessed by various species of Streptomyces, were like R (antibiotic resistance) factors found in gram-negative bacteria of clinical isolation. Here, we have tried to suggest evolutionary inference for one of antibiotic resistance genes, strA, aminoglycoside phosphotransferase gene for streptomycin resistance, by phylogenetic analysis of strA genes retrieved from GenBank.

        Plant molecular systematics relies on the use of chloroplast-based DNA barcodes for studying evolutionary relationship between species. Aloe is a large genus of around 400 species and, most species are widely used for traditional medicinal purposes throughout the world viz., A. vera, A. ferox, A. arborescens, and A. maculate. In this study, the plastid genes matK (Maturase K) and rbcL (Ribulose-bisphosphate carboxylase/oxygenase large subunit) were used to demonstrate their efficacy in identifying Aloe species. The evolutionary relatedness of A. vera was inferred using the Neighborjoining method based on matK and rbcL sequences retrieved from NCBI database. The 48 Aloe samples were divided into four major clades based on matK sequence: Clade I is the largest and represented by vera; Clade II is represented by A. boylei, A. suprafoliata, A. welwitschii, and A. verecunda; Clade III is represented by A. ciliaris; and Clade IV is represented by A. ferox and A. arborescens. Similarly, the 29 Aloe samples were distributed into two major clades based on rbcL sequence: Clade I is represented by A. vera; and Clade II is represented by A. arborescens and A. maculate. The study concludes the possibility of using these genes as a DNA barcode to correctly identify, discriminate and documentation of the species belongs to genus Aloe.

        The rhizosphere known as microbial habitat is the area of root-adjacent soil that is directly affected by substances exuded from the roots, such as the root exudates. It has been known that plant diseases affect plants and the rhizosphere microbial community. The bacterial soft rot caused by Pectobacterium carotovorum (formerly Erwinia carotovora) is one of the most important diseases of Chinese cabbage (Brassica rapa L.). In this study, the Chinese cabbage was inoculated by P. carotovorum SCC1 to induce bacterial soft rot. And the rhizosphere soil was analyzed to evaluate changes in the rhizosphere microbial community using Illumina iSeq 100 platform. The typical symptoms of soft rot in the disease-induced group (BRD) were detected. From the microbiome analysis, Proteobacteria, Actinobacteria, and Planctomycetes were the dominant phyla in all the samples. Also, the class Clostridia which was known to be related to the P. carotovorum was found in BRD3. Alpha-diversity showed no significant difference between control and disease groups. Also, in beta-diversity analysis, there were no significant differences between the two groups, but we found that one of the disease samples, BRD3 exhibited dissimilarity with other samples in PCoA and NMDS analyses based on Yue & Clayton distance matrices. We presumed that the rhizosphere microbial community was changed due to the plant’s soft rot disease. Collectively from the results, this study showed a significant ecological relationship between host plants’ disease and rhizosphere bacterial community.

        Plants may change rhizosphere microbiota in response to pathogen infection, and the rhizosphere microbial communities are closely associated with plant roots. The change of rhizosphere microbial community can be beneficial to the host plants. The ‘cry for help’ hypothesis is that when a plant is invaded by a pathogen, it changes root exudate and affects the microbial community. In this study, a plant pathogenic bacterium (Xanthomonas euvesicatoria) was inoculated in soil and red peppers (Capsicum annuum L.) to induce bacterial spot disease. The rhizosphere soil was collected after 53 days of cultivation and V4 region of bacterial 16S rRNA gene of rhizosphere soil was analyzed using Illumina iSeq 100 system. Analysis of the rhizosphere microbial communities was conducted using Mothur. Bacterial alpha diversity of rhizosphere soil of bacterial spot disease-pepper was significantly smaller than the normal pepper soils. Also, the separation of bacterial communities between control and disease plants was observed through NMDS, PCoA, and LefSe analyses. These results provided ecological insight into the relationship between plant disease and the rhizosphere microbiota of pepper and represented the rhizosphere microbial flora of pepper was altered by bacterial spot disease.

        증례 : 혈액종양 ; 혈액투석 환자에서 발생한 카포시육종의 Pazopanib 치료 증례

        현재까지 우리나라에서는 본 증례를 포함해 아주 적은 수의 혈액투석 환자에서의 카포시육종이 보고되었으며, 특히 pazopanib을 첫 치료제로 선택한 경우는 보고된 바가 없다. 저자는 림프절병증을 동반한 카포시육종에서 pazopanib 복용 후 피부 병변 크기 감소 및 통증 완화의 치료 효과 있음을 경험하여 보고하고자 한다. Kaposi’s sarcoma (KS) is an unusual multifocal neoplastic angioproliferative disorder. We herein report a case of classic KS that occurred in a patient receiving hemodialysis for 7 years. The patient had a history of chronic renal failure due to glomerulonephritis for 20 years. Multiple reddened violaceous patches, plaques, and nodules were found on the right knee. Biopsy revealed positivity for human herpesvirus 8 (KS-associated herpesvirus) consistent with KS. Pazopanib, a multitarget tyrosine kinase inhibitor, is an effective agent for treatment of advanced soft tissue sarcoma. The patient received pazopanib for 6 months investigate its effects on KS. The skin lesions and painful symptoms showed improvement. Further studies are required to determine the mechanism underlying the anticancer action of pazopanib and the pathogenesis of KS.         저자는 제1형 신경섬유종증 환자에서 동반된 세 종류의 종양(위장관기질종양, 유방암 및 바터팽대부암) 1예를 경험하였기에 문헌고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다. Neurofibromatosis type 1 (NF-1) is an autosomal dominant disorder with a prevalence of approximately 1 in 3,500 live births. NF-1 predisposes to various benign and malignant neoplasms. Neurological malignancies are most frequent, but the risks of non-nervous system tumors, such as of the esophagus, stomach, colon, liver, biliary tract, pancreas, lung, melanoma, thyroid gland, female breast and ovaries, are also increased. Malignant tumors are the most common cause of death in patients with NF-1. Cases with double primary tumors have been reported, but cases involving three or more primary cancers are rarely reported. Therefore, we present the case of a NF-1 patient diagnosed with gastrointestinal stromal tumor, breast cancer and ampulla of Vater cancer. (Korean J Med 2016;90:154-158)
