This study conducted an experiment on seismic retrofitting in order to improve seismic performance of RC framed structures of non-earthquake resistant designs. In the experiment, masonry infill walls were strengthened with composite precast concrete(PC) panel systems using honeycomb-type reinforcements. Structural analysis was conducted with actual structures, and a single span which was found to be in need of seismic retrofitting was scaled down by 1/2 ratio and was modeled. The specimens were of 6 different types, including the reference specimen of an RC frame designed to be non-earthquake resistant. The 6 types were divided by whether there was reinforcement on the masonry infill wall and how to retrofit the wall with the honeycomb composite panel system. The experiment results showed that seismic performance of the test specimens increased in all the factors including strength, stiffness, ductility and energy dissipation, so it was considered that retrofitting measures need to be taken to secure proper seismic performance. When seismic performance was evaluated, the target of strength and ductility was set as 30% increase. Since all the specimens were found to meet the target, it was considered proper to retrofit masonry infill walls with PC panels.

The primary purpose of this study is to investigate punching shear capacity of flat plate slab using high strength concrete in column. It may be much contributed to economy efficiency and structural advantages that High Strength Concrete used for vertical member and Normal Strength Concrete for horizontal member. Therefore, Six flat slab specimens with HSC column and NSC slab had been made and tested with real scale. The major variables were compressive strength of concrete(f<sub>ck</sub> = 240, 500kgf/cm<sup>2</sup>), extended length from column face ℓ<sub>d</sub> = 0, d/2, 2d. 60cm) and amount of shear reinforcements. As the result of this test, the following conclusions are shown that the maximum load and behavior of specimens is affected by extended length and shear reinforcements.

Recently, domestic buildings are becoming more diverse and special with the changes of times and culture, the study has been investigated with increasing emphasis on the composite beam system in variable methods. The purpose of this study is to present the evaluation method for the deflection of the partially composite members. To achieve this purpose, concrete thickness and the amount of shear stud were selected as test variables, and 7 specimens were manufactured and tested under two points static load. Test Results as followings, 1) as the distance of concrete thickness is increased that of neutral axis is increased, 2) moment of inertia for partially composite members can be exactly calculated by neglecting the lower concrete area of the neutral axis.

The purpose of this research is to evaluate the effectiveness of lithium nitrate as a corrosion inhibitor in mortar containing chloride. In the experiment, test specimens of mortar to which chloride and lithium nitrite had been added, were subjected to accelerated corrosion by means of repeated drying and wetting on condition of high temperature. From the results of the experiments, it was confirmed that the lithium nitrite inhibitor over dosage 0.6 (NO<sub>2</sub>/CD molar ratio is very effective in protecting reinforcement from corrosion in mortar in which chloride ions have contain.
