        The purpose of this study is the development and application of the high strength-self compacting concrete(SCC) which can be filled from the bottom in the 22m rectangular steel tube column. This self compacting concrete, while having a slump flow value of about 70cm and a compressive strength of 50MPa, maintains high fluidity without segregation and can be filled inside steel tubes column without vibration compaction. From the experimental study, it was found that there were the suitable viscosity of concrete for improving the pumpability, segregation resistance and the filling characteristics, which are highly dependent on the chemical admixtures such as superplasticizer and viscosity agent in addition to general mix proportion. It was also found that the portable pump pressure car with capacity of 130 bar was satisfied to fill up the high strength-self compaction concrete from the bottom of steel tube column.

        Excessive multi-cultured society would face crisis such as having difficulty mixing up the several differences and losing their own characteristics. Naturally, from the process of enduring those crisis, settling would build up a new culture. This shows clearly on the nowadays spoons and chopsticks. Ignorant in the past and misunderstanding nowadays value created fallacy. Not knowing the beauty of our traditions properly and short knowledge of high-civilized country, people would thoughtlessly to prefer and to follow wealthy high-civilized countries goods. Indiscreet behavior to the spoons and chopsticks, which played important rolls in our eating habits, would make them lose its own characters. We are living in the fast changing, confused society today. To prevent this situation from misuses, we should be interested to understand the past and we should have right point of view on the present. With new multi-cultured society, nowadays carelessly made tableware should also be all changing with peoples needs and wants. Through this we would be able to find and establish another tradition with true identity.

        After 1960s, the Korean Design have developed by degree with growth of nation's economy. In 1960s, the fetal movement, the category of design is limited to a viewpoint of art and commercial goods. But, in 1970s, there is an outstanding development of design, with the economic policy and the Sankongmijeon(Industrial Design Award) was held by the territory of president and aid of companies. An extension of educational office promoted the design moreover, whereas there is different directions between cultural tradition and design. Because of 1988 Olympic Game and open economy policy, the viewpoint of traditional culture presentation was attached great important by company and people. But, cultural presentation was so visible not to be arranged with meaningful worths. So, our traditional meaning, purity of white and a concentric circle form egg-shape is need to develop into the communication system and design form with the viewpoint of shape and meaning.

      • 新世代用 情報機器 시스템 디자인

        This paper is about the design of an information system for a new generation. The contents are summarized as follows : First, the new generation is characterized by political apathy, cultural pluralism and a post-modern ideology. Diverse in values, thought and norms, they are the core generation in the information society. According to an analysis of the information society, they obtain information from the computer and TV rather than newspapers or radio. In compliance with their need for information, companies have to develop interactive TV systems. To make the information system fit the user and the environment, four axes based on the user, product benefit, occasion and position analysis were set up. Thus, after investigating the character of the new generation, COSEG, which forcast combinations of abstract design concepts, was designed. The alternative models are as follows : COSEG I is ALT. A Type, COSEG II is ALT B Type. Visualization of the design is through 2-D rendering and 3-D CAD Modeling.

        It is the time now for modern design to research and to explore every possible means to satisfy man's increasing needs. Social phases have been developed and followed by secondary effects as they undergo many changes. Whatever our attitude may be, changes are inevitable; as far as the history of man is that of change, it is necessary to trace the change to its sources and to define it; it is also our task to study what the change has made for and how man has coped with it, and to try to minimize the error which may take place in the future. In the development process of design, man has found the clue to problem-solving in the discovery through observation, which is the main method th create the primary product, and has developed the specialized technique as he forms a group. His vigorous spirit for exploration has produced the desire to trace up the nature of man and world. The Industrial Revolution, which has begun in the England in the 18th century, has caused the development of science and technology and brought the epochmaking changes into man's way of life. At the same time, it has founded an important base to create all the products that we use today. The history of change has brought a rich life to us, while it leaves some complicated and difficult problems. These problems, which are very important factors in the development process of design today, are as follows: 1) consumation, 2) complexity, 3) control, 4) conservation. We generally want to buy safe, efficient and newly-modelled cars(consumation); we expect to have a characteristic television set with excellent system and new functions (complexity); a car needs control in traffic accident, parking lot, atmospheric pollution caused by its waste gas, etc.(control); in terms of the value of resources and conservation of man, the control means becomes to be an important factor in product-design(conservation). In the research for diversification of product-design, therefore a behavior model according to consumer's life style is required. Designers in enterprise must have a wide understanding of market-segmentation, product-diversification and product-differentiation through an empirical analysis. Thus, I am convinced that the enlargement and development of good-design will be done by the research for diversification in design which improves and creates the spiritual and material environments for our real happiness.

      • 製品 統合을 위한 개발 프로세스 模型에 관한 연구

        This paper is about Integrated Development. It is fundamental attitude in Integrated Product Development that a product's design, marketing and manufacturing parameters be subjected to parallel development from the start. At the stage, consideration must be given as to how a decision in one area affects the other two. The stages are named after the activity, which has the greatest weight at that point in time, but all stage contain both design, marketing, and manufacturing parameter considerations. By the nature of products, the volume of work in the different areas is not necessarily equal. In a Home Water Purifier Project, strategies and methods are is to marking up a question to the user for the recognition of the needs. The alternative models on the basis of the needs are ALT A" Type and ALT B" Type. ALT A" Type is a perspective rendering and ALT B" Type three-view rendering.
