최적 벡터 양자화 코드북 설계를 위한 진화와 학습에 의한 Self-organizing Map의 동시적응

This paper proposes two co-adaptation schemes of self-organizing maps that incorporate the Kohonen's learning into the GA evolution to find an optimal vector quantization codebook of images The Kohonen's learning rule used for vector quantization of images is sensitive to the choice of its initial parameters and the resultant codebook does not guarantee a minimum distortion, To tackle these problems, we co-adapt the codebooks by evolution and learning in a way that the evolution performs the global search and makes inter-codebook adjustments by altering the codebook structures while the learning performs the local search and makes intra-codebook adjustments by interacting each codebook with its environment. Two kinds of co-adaptation scheme such as Lamarckian and Baldwin co-adaptation are considered in our work. Simulation results show that the evolution guided by a local learning provides the fast convergence, the co-adapted codebook produces better reconstruction image quality than the non-learned equivalent, and Lamarckian co-adaptation turns out more appropriate for the codebook design problem of vector quantization. 본 논문은 화상의 최적 벡터 양자화 코드북을 결정하는데 Kohonen학습을 GA 진화에 결합시킨 두 가지 형태의 self-organizing map의 동시적응 방안을 제안한다. 화상의 벡터 양자화에 사용되는 Kohonen 학습 규칙은 초기 파라메터에 민감하고, 얻어진 코드북은 항상 최소 왜곡을 보장하지 않는다. 이 문제를 해결하기 위해, 코드북을 진화와 학습으로 동시적응을 제안하는데, 진화는 전역적인 탐색을 수행하고 코드북 구조를 변경하여 코드북간의 조정을 담당하는 반면, 학습은 국부적인 탐색을 수행하고 각 코드북과 환경간의 상호작용에 의하여 각 코드북의 조정을 담당한다. 본 논문에서는 Lamarckian과 Baldwin 두 가지 동시적응 방법을 고려한다. 실험 결과, 학습에 의해 유도되는 진화가 진화 자체만의 경우보다 더 빨리 수렴하고, 일정 시간에서 동시 적응된 코드북에 얻어진 재생 화상의 질이 비학습의 경우보다 더 나음을 보여주고, Lamarckian형태의 동시적응이 벡터 양자화를 위한 코드북 설계 문제에 더 적합한것으로 나타났다.
Septic Environment of Dental Clinics in Korea

Objective: The aim of this study is to collect bacteria from tools, equipments, and workers in dental clinics, and compare the amount of bacteria measured by the UltrasnapTM ATP method with the amount of effort put into practice of infection prevention. The results will be provided as basic data to find the current problems of infection prevention in Korean dental clinics and search for ways that will lead to future improvements. Materials and method: Micro-organism was measured by UltrasnapTM ATP swab for Dentist, Dental hygienist unit chair and Dental machine. The Questionnaire was delivered to all subjected dental clinics. Results: Personal trial for anti-septic was revealed as, aseptic in and gloves but not well managed in Mask and gown. However, measured by UltrasnapTM there were few micro-organism in dentist's Mask but some micro-organism were found in dentist's Hands. There is a strong relationship between the trial of staff's antiseptic management for dental instruments and RLU measurement for dental instruments. It means that, if we achieve a higher level of anti-septic for dental instruments, we can reduce the RLU level in each dental instrument, effectively. One thing special is the most relationship in Light Gun Tip. Conclusion: Light gun tip might be a standard to check the hygiene level of septic environment for a dental clinic, because of the high co-relation between the trials for anti-septic and the decreasing the RLU level, at dental clinic.
XML DTD의 관계데이터베이스 변환을 위한 그래프 모델에 관한 연구

In this paper, we introduce the weighted graph model for converting the document type definition(DTD) of XML documents to the relational database schema for storing the XML documents in the relational database. Also, we introduce the algorithms for creating the relations from the weighted graph model. Our weighted graph model has the properties that we can adjust the number of attributes for the relation in order to solve the difficulties in converting an XML DTD to a relation database schema. Thus using our convertion method for XML DTD to database schema, we can exploit exact search and querys for structed documents using relational databases.

Objective: The purpose of this study was to attitudes about clinical practice, satisfaction, and identify the factors that affect the stress analysis and to provide a basis for a more efficient operation than practical subjects. Methods: Conducted a survey of the sophomore 95 people with 4 weeks of clinical practice experience attending the ‘A’ College and ‘K’ College based in the northern part was used in the final 67 analysis. Results: Clinical practice satisfaction of the participants point to 3.28 out of 5, clinical practice stress that there is a statistically significant difference with respect to the type of clinical practice clinical practice satisfaction according to specialty hospitals related characteristics appeared to point to 3.51 out of 5 had appeared (t=2.773, p<0.05), the stress level in accordance with the relevant major characteristics before practicing relieve anxiety level (t=2.741, p<0.05) was found to have a statistically significant difference in the clinical experience and clinical experience with correlation analysis indicated a significant correlation between stress factors, the correlation coefficient for the individual characteristics and practical guidance l=0.209 (p<0.10) was found to have significant correlation. Conclusion: This clinical practice during multilateral institution to examine practical analysis of the characteristics studied by reviewing detailed pre-planning and operational measures to increase the students' clinical practice satisfaction to be effective and desirable education is considered that continued efforts should be supported.
