This study used an in-depth interview survey to examine and analyze people’s perceptions of the decline in the use of the terms of address, seobangnim, doryeonmin, and agassi in the Korean language. We sought to determine the degree of and reasons for Korean people’s unfamiliarity and/or dislike of the terms, with an eye toward restoring them to common usage. We compared our results with those of Na Yoon Jung et al.’s study on standardized speech (2011) and survey results (2017). The combined results suggest that seobangnim, doryeonnim, and agassi no longer function properly as the terms of address and reference, as summarized in the following findings: (1) seobangnim, once commonly used between spouses to refer to parents, friends, or a spouse when calling or pointing, is no longer common; (2) the use of doryeonnim for addressing or referencing a husband’s brother(s) is disappearing and is now being viewed negatively; (3) agassi, once a common term used to address and reference a husband’s sister, has fallen from favor and is viewed negatively; (4) the most common reason for the declining use and negative associations is that these terms have connotations of gender and status inequalities. Our results support those found by Na Yoon Jeong et al. (2017).
Data Analysis using Psocake at PAL-XFEL

Psocake is a software program designed for high throughput data reduction and analysis of free- electron laser experiments. Its serial crystallography graphical user interface allows browsing of detector images, Bragg peak finding with easy parameter tuning, generate region-of-interest masks, and crystal indexing. It was originally developed for use at the Linac Coherent Light Source, SLAC national accelerator laboratory and has been adopted for use at Pohang accelerator laboratory due to popular demand. We describe the features of psocake available at Pohang and include information about data management that we hope will be useful for users of the facility.

The Ttwieo Apchagi is one of the Chagi techniques in which a player runs, jumps and crosses the legs in the air to kick the target. It is expected that duration of flight and maximum height of COM are very crucial variances to improve precision and stability of the performance. So, The purpose of the study was to analyze ground motions(run up & take off) in Ttwieo Apchagi. We performed 3-d motion analysis using image analysis system of Motion Aanalysis for 16 Taekwondo players. The subjects were divided into two groups : 8 members of the national Taekwondo demonstration team and 8 members of the university Taekwondo demonstration team. Our analysis was performed in the following steps : 1. We divided ground motions into run up phase and take off phase. 2. We analyzed spacio-tmeporal variances and kinematics and kinetics variances of lower extrmities in each phase and compared the differences between the two groups. The results are : 1. There were significant differences in step Length and COM height in the take off phase. 2. There were significant differences in transverse velocity, maximum transverse velocity, vertical velocity and maximum vertical velocity of COM in each phase. 3. There were significant differences in flexio/extension angle, maximum flexion/extension angle and maximum flexio/extension angular velocity of lower extremities between two groups. 4. But there were not significant difference in Maximum flexion/extension moment of lower extremities. 뛰어앞차기는 일정한 거리를 두고 달려가 한 발로 점프하여 공중에서 두 다리를 교차하며 발차기를 하는 기술이며, 정해진 목표의 정확한 타격에 필요한 기술의 안정성을 높이는 데에는 공중동작을 충분히 발휘할 수 있는 체공시간 및 COM의 최대높이가 매우 중요한 요인으로 작용할 것으로 예측된다. 따라서 본 연구는 격파선수들과 지도자들에게 보다 효과적인 지상동작 수행 및 훈련방법에 필요한 정량화된 데이터를 제공하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 국가대표태권도 시범단 8명과 대학태권도시범단 8명을 대상으로 Motion Analysis사의 영상분석 시스템을 이용하여 3차원 영상분석을 수행하였다. 분석 내용으로는 지상동작 구간을 도약과 발구름 구간으로 구분한 뒤 두 그룹간의 시․공간적 변인과 하지 관절의 운동학 및 운동역학적 변인을 각 구간별로 비교․분석하였고, 그 결과 시․공간변인으로는 발구름 구간의 보폭의 크기와 COM의 높이, 수평속도 및 최대수평속도, 그리고 수직속도 및 최대수직속도에서 두 그룹 간 통계적 유의한 차이가 나타났으며, 또한 하지관절의 굴곡/신전 각도, 최대굴곡/신전 각도, 최대굴곡/신전 각속도에서 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 그러나 발구름 구간에서의 하지 관절의 굴곡/신전 모멘트에서는 그룹 간 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 발견되지 않았다.

Background and Objectives: Both neutrophil to lymphocyte ratio (NLR) and C-reactive protein (CRP) are biomarkers associated with poor prognosis of patients with acute myocardial infarction (AMI). However, the combined usefulness of NLR and CRP in predicting adverse outcomes has not been investigated. Subjects and Methods: We analyzed 381 consecutive AMI patients who underwent percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) from January 2012 to January 2014. The endpoints were all-cause mortality, recurrent myocardial infarction (MI), stent thrombosis, repeat revascularization, stroke, and major adverse cardiac and cerebrovascular events (MACCE) at 2-year follow-up. Included patients were divided into 4 groups according to the optimal cut-off values for NLR and CRP on receiver operating characteristic analysis predicting mortality. Results: Patients with both high NLR (>6.30) and high CRP (>0.76) had significantly greater risk of all-cause death and MACCE at 24 months, with no significant increase in the risk of recurrent MI, stent thrombosis, or stroke compared with patients with either low NLR or low CRP, as well as those with low NLR and low CRP. Kaplan-Meier analysis revealed significantly lower survival in patients with high NLR-CRP. On Cox multivariate analysis, high NLR-CRP (hazard ratio 23.172, 95% confidence interval 6.575 to 81.671, p<0.001) was an independent predictor of all-cause death. Conclusion: Elevated levels of both NLR and CRP are associated with increased risk of long-term mortality in AMI patients who have undergone PCI.
