        워시드 커피와 내추럴 커피를 활용한 커피제조 과정에서의 항산화 성분 분석

        This study examines the changes in chlorogenic acid (CGA), an antioxidant, and one of its decomposition substances, caffeic acid, at various roasting stages and extraction conditions. Based on the CGA content for each roasting stage, at $3^{\circ}C$ after the beginning of the $1^{st}$ crack, the CGA decreased for washed beans and natural beans by more than 50% compared to that of green coffees. The CGA continued to decrease sharply by more than 75% at the end of the $1^{st}$ crack for washed beans and at $5^{\circ}C$ after the end of the $1^{st}$ crack for natural beans. At the peak of the $2^{nd}$ crack, it had decreased by more than 90% for both beans. The Caffeic acid content gradually increased for both washed and natural beans, then rapidly increased from the beginning of the $2^{nd}$ crack to the peak of the $2^{nd}$ crack. However, its contents were very small in quantity. Additionally, the content of CGAs for differing extraction conditions were in the order of 3-CGA, Crypto-CGA, and Neo-CGA. Crypto-CGA content was about half that of 3-CGA and Neo-CGA content was approximately 100 ppm less than that of Crypto-CGA. This study was conducted in order to help make coffee that has the most antioxidant effect.

        Bony Stability and Soft Tissue Changes after Orthognathic Surgery on Patients with Cleft

        Purpose: The objective of this retrospective study was to assess the skeletal stability after orthognathic surgery for patients with cleft lip and palate. The soft tissue changes in relation to the skeletal movement were also evaluated. Methods: Thirty one patients with cleft received orthognathic surgery by one surgeon at the Craniofacial Center, Chang Gung Memorial Hospital, Taoyuan, Taiwan. Osseous and soft tissue landmarks were localized on lateral cephalograms taken at preoperative (T0), postoperative (T1), and after completion of orthodontic treatment (T2) stages. Surgical movement (T0.T1) and relapse (T1.T2) were measured and compared. Results: Mean anteroposterior horizontal advancement of maxilla at point A was 5.5 mm, and the mean horizontal relapse was 0.5 mm (9.1%). The degree of horizontal relapse was found to be correlated to the extent of maxillary advancement. Mean vertical lengthening of maxilla at point A was 3.2 mm, and the mean vertical relapse was 0.6 mm (18.8%). All cases had maxillary clockwise rotation with a mean of 4.4 degrees. The ratio for horizontal advancement of nasal tip/anterior nasal spine was 0.54/1, and the ratio of A' point/A point was 0.68/1 and 0.69/1 for the upper vermilion/upper incisor tip. Conclusion: Satisfactory skeletal stability with an acceptable relapse rate was obtained from this study. High soft tissue to skeletal tissue ratios were obtained. Two-jaw surgery, clockwise rotation, rigid fixation, and alar cinch suture appeared to be the contributing factors for favorable results.

        국소성 분절성 사구체 경화증(FSGS)을 동반한 Cockayne 증후군 1례

        Cockayne syndrome is a rare autosomal recessive disorder characterized by cachectic dwafism, mental retardation, loss of facial subcutaneous adipose tissue, microcephaly and photosensitive dermatitis. It is associated with renal abnormalities characterized by hyalinization of glomeruli, atrophy of tubules and interstitial fibrosis. To our knowledge, this is the first report of a case of Cockayne syndrome with FSGS in Korea. A 7-year old boy was admitted for evaluation of hypertension and proteinuria, which were detected 2 month ago. He was followed for short stature(<3 percentile), mental retardation(IQ 55), strabismus and dental caries since 3 years ago. He also showed microcephaly, a bird-like face and relatively large hands and feet. Laboratory findings showed decreased creatinine clearance($C_{Cr}$ 76.1 mL/min/$1.73m^2$) and proteinuria(1,548 mg/day). Renal biopsy demonstrated focal segmental glomerulosclerosis of the hilar type with large hyaline deposits, moderate tubular atrophy and interstitial fibrosis. His cardinal features, mental retardation, and renal biopsy findings were consistent with Cockayne syndrome. We report here a very rare case of Cockayne syndrome with FSGS presenting with proteinuria and hypertension. Cockayne 증후군은 지능저하와 발육부전을 특징으로 하며 피부의 광과민성, 색소성의 망막증, 백내장, 신경전도성 귀머거리 외에 다기관 이상을 동반하는 드문 질환이다. 신장학적 이상 소견 또한 드물지 않게 동반되는 합병증 중 하나이며 병리학적으로 사구체의 유리질화, 세뇨관의 위축 및 간질 내 섬유화가 관찰될 수 있다. 저자들은 7세된 남아에서 Cockayne 증후군의 특징적인 외모와 임상양상을 확인하고 동반된 국소 분절성 사구체 경화증을 진단하였기에 문헌 고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다.

        알포트 증후군 형제에서 동시에 발병된 급성 연쇄상 구균 감염 후 사구체 신염 2례

        알포트 증후군은 유전성 신염 중 발생빈도가 높은 대표적 질환이며 급성 연쇄상 구균 감염 후 사구체 신염은 연쇄상 구균에 감염되고 1-2주 후에 발병하며 증상이 없는 경한 현미경적 혈뇨에서부터 급성 신부전에 이르기까지 다양한 임상양상을 특징으로 하는 질환이다. 급성 연쇄상 구균 감염 후 사구체 신염이 알포트 증후군에 미칠 수 있는 영향에 대해서는 알려진 바 없으나 저자들은 육안적 혈뇨를 주소로 내원한 형제에서 신생검을 시행하여 급성 연쇄상구균 감염 후 사구체 신염과 동반된 알포트 증후군으로 진단된 2례를 경험하였기에 문헌 고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다. Alport syndrome is the most common type of hereditary nephritis, and acute poststreptococcal glomerulonephritis(APSGN) is a common disease in children. We experienced the clinical and pathologic findings of Alport syndrome and APSGN in brothers of one family. Both patients presented with heavy gross hematuria and proteinuria. ASO titer was elevated in both cases, and the C3 level was reduced in one of the cases. In renal pathology, both showed characteristics of Alport syndrome as well as the glomerular changes of APSGN with hump-like subepithelial deposits by electron microscopy. These clinical observation indicated that the patients had APSGN superimposed on Alport syndrome, and that the episode of APSGN might exacerbate the clinical course of Alport syndrome.

        PCW-PNN-PZT+0.5 wt%MnO<sub>2</sub> 세라믹스의 소결 및 압전특성

        In this thesis, piezoelectric properties and sintering properties of PCW-PNN-PZT+0.5 wt%$MnO_2$ ceramics adding $B_2O_3$ after creating the specimens with a general method. The lattice constant from the analysis of crystal structure showed that the crystal structure of ceramic features both rhombohdral and tetragonal structures and that the pychlore structure was decreased with the increase of the sintering temperature. The electromechanical coupling coefficient showed its maximum of 31 % in the sintered specimens at $1050^{\circ}C$, and its minimum of 20 % in the sintered specimens at $1150^{\circ}C$. The mechanical quality coefficient marked the maximum of 139 at the sintering temperature of $1150^{\circ}C$.

        니트/키토산 스펀지 복합구조물의 흡수특성

        Chitosan is the second abundant natural polymer after cellulose and shows a lot of potential functional advantages such as biodegradability, biocompatibility, antimicrobial properties etc. Cotton knit/chitosan sponge composite structures were prepared by coating chitosan solutions ($CH_3COOH$, HCI) onto the cotton knit fabrics, freezing at $-80^{\circ}C$, and Iyophilizing. Chitosan in two kinds of salts solutions was crosslinked with glutaraldehyde and citric acid prior to coating. Knit/chitosan sponge structures were transformed into the hydrogel structure when they absorbed water. 2% chitosan acetate composite crosslinked with citric acid absorbed water about 23 times of its dry weight. Weak physical properties of Iyophilized chitosan sponge were improved by forming knit/chitosan composite structure.

        N-halamine을 이용한 키토산 섬유의 항균성

        Antimicrobial acitivity of chitosan fiber was reinforced by N-halamine which is a compound containing nitrogen-chlorine covalent bond that is formed by halogenation of amine in chitosan. Upon pH and chlorination time of sodium hypochlorite solution, aminogroup in chitosan fiber was differnetly chlorinated according to respective conditions. The chlorination of chitosan fiber was confirmed by iodometric titration. The results obtained are following: longer reaction time caused the chlorination of chitosan fibers to increase, and acidic conditions during the treatemnt was more effective compared to alkaline or neutral conditions. The chlorinated chitosan fibers showed powerful antimicrobial activity against both E. coli and S. aureus. SEM observations demonstrated that the chlorinated chitosan fibers were not damaged under the acidic treatment condition.

        신증후군 환아에서 1년내 재발과 관련된 위험 요인

        Purpose : This study aimed to evaluate risk factors of the first year relapse in children with nephrotic syndrome(NS) without the need for biopsy. Methods : We reviewed, retrospectively, 78 children diagnosed with steroid responsive nephrotic syndrome between July 1997 and June 2002. Median years to follow up were 4.4 years(range : 1-5 years). We divided the patients into two groups(group I : primary responders with no relapse or with only two relapses in the first year after initial response; group II : initial steroid responders with three or more relapses within the first year). We retrospectively reviewed and compared variables - sex, onset age, serum albumin, serum cholesterol, 24 hours urinary protein, creatinine clearance(Ccr), presence of hematuria and hypertension(HTN), and days from initial attack to remission. Results : Of 78 patients(male : 61(78.2%), female : 17(21.8%), age range 1.1 years to 14 years, median $5.1{\pm}3.0years$), 47(60.3%) were in group I and 31(39.7%) were in group II. There were no statistically significant differences in sex, serum albumin, serum cholesterol, 24 hours urinary protein, Ccr, presence of hematuria or HTN. The median age of onset showed no statistical difference between the two groups. However, if the patients are dividing into two groups according to the age of onset of three-years, patients theree yrs old or less fit into group II, as opposed to patients older than three yrs in age(63.2% vs. 32.2%, P<0.05). The days from initial attack to remission was longer in group II($12.9{\pm}0.5$ vs. $16.2{\pm}1.1$, P<0.05). Conclusion : We may conclude that the age of onset of three yrs old or less, and the longer time remission to initial steroid therapy, are risk factors of the first year relapse. 목 적 : 신증후군으로 진단 받은 환아에서 신장 조직 검사 없이 진단 당시 임상 소견 및 혈액과 소변 검사 소견만으로 1년내 재발을 예측할 수 있는 위험요인을 알아보고자 본 연구를 실시하였다. 방 법 : 1997년 7월에서 2002년 6월까지 만 5년간 고려대학교 병원 소아신장크리닉을 내원한 환아 중 스테로이드 치료에 반응을 보였던 신증후군 환아 78명을 대상으로 후향적 연구를 시행하였다. 환아는 두 군으로 분류하였는데 I군은 재발이 없거나 스테로이드 치료하여 반응을 보인 환아에서 첫 1년 내에 재발이 2회 이하로 있는 환아였고 II군은 스테로이드 치료하여 반응을 보인 환아에서 첫 1년 내에 재발이 3회 이상 있는 환아로 하였다. 모든 환아에 대해 각각 성별, 나이, 진단 당시 혈청 알부민, 콜레스테롤, 24시간 요단백, 크레아티닌 청소율, 혈뇨 및 고혈압의 유무, 초기 스테로이드에 반응하여 완해되는데 걸린 기간 등을 비교하였다. 결 과 : 78명의 환아 중 남아는 61명(78.2%), 여아는 17명(21.8%)였고 평균 연령은 $5.1{\pm}3.0$세였으며 47명(60.3%)은 I군에 속했고 31명(39.7%)은 II군에 속했다. 성별, 혈청 알부민, 콜레스테롤, 24시간 요단백, 크레아티닌 청소율과 혈뇨 및 고혈압 유무는 두 군에서 유의한 차이를 보이지 않았다. 두 군의 평균 발병연령은 I군에서 $5.1{\pm}3.1$세, II군에서 $4.9{\pm}2.9$세로 II군의 발병연령이 더 낮은 경향을 보였으나 통계적으로 유의한 차이는 없었고 발병 연령을 3세를 기준으로 구분하였을 때 3세 이하의 환아 중 많은 수가 II군에 속했으며 통계적으로도 유의한 차이를 보였다(P<0.05). 또한 초기 스테로이드에 반응하여 완해가 일어나는 시기를 비교했을 때 I군은 $12.9{\pm}0.5$일, II군은 $16.2{\pm}1.1$일로 II군에서 완해되는 시간이 더 오래 걸린 양상을 보였다(P<0.05). 결 론 : 신증후군으로 진단된 환아에서 초기 진단 당시 연령이 3세 이하로 어리거나 초기 스테로이드에 치료에 반응하여 완해 되는데 걸리는 기간이 길수록 나쁜 예후를 보이는 양상을 보였다. 따라서 추후 신증후군 환아 진단시 예후를 예측하는데 도움이 되리라 생각된다.

        Z세대의 웹툰 캐릭터를 활용한 패션 콜라보레이션 사례연구

        정보기술의 발달과 함께 어린시절부터 디지털 환경속에 성장한 Z세대는 미래 산업의 주 고객층으로 웹툰을 비롯한 모바일 문화에 친숙하고 온라인 문화의 중심을 이루고 있다. 최근 이종브랜드 간의 크로스오버 콜라보레이션에 의한 새로운 마켓 확대를 통한 부가가치 창출이 패션을 중심으로 다양한 콘텐츠에서 활성화되고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 문헌연구를 통해 Z세대의 개념을 정의하고 2017년 이후에 개발된 웹툰의 캐릭터를 활용한 패션브랜드 콜라보레이션의 특성을 사례 연구하였다. 웹툰 캐릭터는 신진 브랜드 및 캐주얼 브랜드의 경우 Z세대를 위한 의류에서는 캐릭터를 살린 티셔츠, 후드 및 아우터를 중심으로 교복 및 일상에 코디네이트할 수 있는 데일리 룩 구성을 전개하고 있다. 따라서 다양한 상황에서 콜라보레이션에 의한 제품 개발을 통해 시각적 즐거움, 참신성, 위트등 Z세대의 소비 패턴에 맞춘 콜라보레이션이 확대되고 있다. 슈즈 브랜드에서는 웹툰 캐릭터를 활용하여 일상 운동화, 스니커즈 및 슬리퍼에 이르기까지 젊은 고객층을 흡입하는 브랜드 강화 전략을 통하여 집단의 동질성 및 사회적 구성원으로의 만족감을 강화하고 있다, 이와 같이 웹툰 캐릭터를 활용한 콜라보레이션은 또래 문화의 파노플리(panoplie) 현상을 반영하고 있다고 할 수 있다. 또한 웹툰 캐릭터만이 아니라 웹툰 작가와의 크로스오버 콜라보레이션을 통해서 브랜드 홍보 효과 강화와 인지도 향상 및 스토리텔링에 의한 새로운 콜라보레이션을 제시하여 웹툰 캐릭터를 매장 디스플레이의 중심 요소로 연출하고 있다. 혁신적인 콜라보레이션을 통해 새로운 문화 영역의 확산은 소비자에게 색다른 경험을 제공하여 브랜드 가치를 창출하고 브랜드 확장의 기대 효과를 나타내고 있다. Generation Z grew up amidst the rapid spread of smartphones and the development of information technologies, establishing themselves as central consumers in future industries by making active investment in networks oriented toward their taste. Familiar with the mobile culture including webtoons, they make up the core of online industries. In recent years, value added creation through new market expansion based on collaboration between different brands has been active across various areas of content including food, stationery, mobile games as well as fashion. This study thus set out to define the concept of Generation Z based on literature study and investigate the characteristics of collaboration used in the development of fashion design products by looking into cases of collaboration between fashion brands based on the characteristics of webtoon characters developed since 2017. The findings show that webtoon characters worked to reinforce the collective solidarity and satisfaction of Generation Z as members of society through visual pleasure, originality, wit, and panoplie in their collaboration with new and casual clothes and shoes brands. The scope of collaboration was also expanded as such brands engaged in cross-over collaboration with webtoon artists as well as webtoon characters, thus strengthening their advertising and promotion effects, increasing their brand recognition, and providing consumers with new and different experiences. Generation Z has a self-initiative tendency, being active to explore and develop their taste, which raises a need for brand marketing strategies to respect and upgrade their self-esteem in taste. It is also critical to pursue collaboration to offer real experiences through the diverse five senses beyond visual stimuli and help consumers experience new space and time through their experiences in offline space beyond online space.
