Objectives: The purpose of this study is to investigate the difference in the effects of eye-mask and light-off on sleep status according to a commercial fitness tracker and a sleep diary of psychiatric in-patients in correctional facilities where nocturnal light is compulsory. Methods: This study was conducted over 3 consecutive nights. In-patients of the National Forensic Psychiatric Hospital (n = 29) were assigned random subject numbers and slept as usual in the light-on condition on the first night. The subjects slept with eye-masks in the light-on condition on another night and without an eye-mask in the light-off condition on the other night. Subjects were asked to sleep wearing a commercial fitness tracker and to keep a sleep diary. The order of these changes in bedroom lighting condition on the second and third nights was assigned randomly to participants. Results: In comparison of the sleep variables between the light-on condition and the eye-mask condition, the Wakefullness After Sleep Onset (WASO) was shorter and sleep satisfaction was higher in the latter.(respectively, Z = 3.66, p < 0.017 ; Z = 2.69, p < 0.017) In comparison of the sleep variables between the light-on and light-off conditions, the WASO was shorter and sleep efficiency and sleep satisfaction were higher in the latter (respectively, Z = 2.40, p < 0.017 ; Z = 3.02, p < 0.017 ; Z = 3.88, p < 0.017). However, there were no differences in the sleep variables between the eye-mask condition and the light-off condition. Conclusion: Subjective improvements in sleep variables were noted in sleep diaries of institutionalized psychiatric patients under either the ‘eye-mask’ or ‘light-off’ condition. However, there were no significant differences between the ‘eye-mask’ and ‘light-off’ conditions. Therefore, we suggest that psychiatric patients in correctional facilities use eye-masks when sleeping.
AHP를 이용한 도요타 생산시스템 평가항목의 중요도 분석 : 공급사슬망 위치에 따른 비교

본 연구에서는 한국 자동차산업의 실정에 맞는 도요타 생산시스템 구성요소의 중요도를 평가하기 위해 AHP기법을 적용하였다. 먼저, 선행연구와 전문가 인터뷰를 통해 도출된 8가지 도요타 생산시스템 구성요소는 요인분석을 통해, 기반구축활동, 품질강화체제, JIT생산체제의 3가지로 분류되었으며, 이러한 분류를 이용하여 2단계 AHP모형을 설계할 수 있었다. 자동차산업 전반에 걸쳐 8가지 도요타 생산시스템의 중요도를 분석한 결과, 예방보전활동, 인변자동화, 개선제안활동, 셋업시간단축활동, 소로트생산, 다능공육성, 라인스톱제 운영, 칸반시스템운영의 순으로 나타났으며, 모기업 및 1차협력업체에서는 예방보전활동이 가장 중요한 구성요소로, 2차협력업체에서는 개선제안활동이 가장 중요한 구성요소로 분석되었다. 또한 공급사슬망위치에 따라 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 나타나는 구성요소를 조사한 결과, 기반구축활동에 속한 예방보전활동, 셋업시간단축활동, 개선제안활동, 다능공육성 및 JIT생산제제에 속한 소로트생산에서만 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 본 연구는 도요타 생산시스템을 적용하고 있는 자동차산업에서 어떠한 구성요소에 집중해야 하는지, 어떠한 구성요소를 소홀히 시행하고 있는가에 대한 정보를 제공해 주고 있다. Toyota Production System(TPS) implementation levels will differ among companies in the automobile industry depending on their positions in the supply chain tiers. So, it is necessary to identify current status of their TPS implementation and select the major evaluation criteria in respect of Toyota Production System implementation according to the supply chain tiers. The purpose of this paper is to establish the priority of TPS elements through AHP analysis. The results of empirical studies were summarized as follows. First, Eight critical elements are extract from previous studies and professionals' opinions; Quality circle, Preventive maintenance, Reduced setup times, multiple skilled workers, Kanban system, Small lot sizes, Line stop system, Autonomation. And these elements were tied into 3 factors; Basic building activities, JIT production system, Quality improvement system. Second, the results of AHP analysis showed the important level and priority of 8 elements as following orders; Preventive maintenance, Autonomation, Quality circle, Reduced setup times, Small lot sizes, Multiple skilled worker, Line stop system, Kanban system. Third, through ANOVA, it showed the difference of the importance in each position of the supply chain tiers, especially in Preventive maintenance, Reduced setup times, Quality circle, Multiple skilled worker, Small lot sizes.

반도체 설계기술의 발달로 구현 회로가 복잡해지고, 동작속도가 크게 증가함에 따라, 반도체 이후 (post-silicon) 설계 단계에서 repair를 위한 기간 및 비용이 크게 증가하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 예비 셀을 이용한 repair 방법을 통해 설계 오류로 인한 repair시 혹은 설계 변경 시에 전체 재설계를 최소화하는 방법을 제안하였다. 또한 예비 셀을 이용한 설계 변경 과정에서 repair layer에 설계 변경을 국한하여 mask 비용과 time-to-market을 줄이는 방법을 개발하였다. 또한 회로 분할을 통해 repair 과정에서 사용하는 예비회로의 비용을 줄일 수 있도록 한다. As the complexity and the clock speed of semiconductor integrated circuits increase, silicon validation becomes important. In this research, we developed new post-silicon repair & revision techniques to reduce cost and time-to-market. Spare cells are fabricated with the original design and are used for repair when necessary. The interconnections are modified by repair layer revision. The repair cost can be reduced by logic partitioning. Experimental results show that these techniques are effective for low-cost and fast turnaround repair.
