Behcet’s disease is a multisystem inflammatory disorder with a chronic relapsing course. It is considered a nonspecific systemic vasculitis involving both, venous and arterial circulation. Although lower extremity vein thrombosis (LEVT) is one of the most common manifestations of vascular involvement, a few cases are reported in the literature and to our knowledge, and only 2 cases were reported in Korea. We report a case of a 40-year-old Korean man with localized erythematous macules and patches on both lower extremities with a marked painful swelling on the right leg. The patient reported a history of similar lesions 10 years prior to presentation and also a history of recurrent aphthous oral ulcerations. Based on phlebographic findings of old LEVT in the right femoral vein, the patient was diagnosed with Behcet’s disease associated with LEVT. (Korean J Dermatol 2018;56(5):325∼ 328)
25㎜ NSW-ring, pp.를 充塡한 充塡塔에서 암모니아 吸收에 의한 充塡物의 特性硏究

This study was carried out to demonstrate the superiority of used packing in view of energy saving and efficiency of mass transfer, comparing with conventional packing. The results are as follows : 1. Owing to low pressure drop under high load, 25mm NSW-ring, pp. can cause energy saving. 2. The unique magnitudes of used packing are as follows : C_(G) = 5.78 m = 0.67 n = 0.46 3. Used packing can make high efficiency including energy saving because of low pressure drop per the number of transfer unit. To rate the characteristic of packing, it should be carried out that the measurement of pressure drop per packing height and per the number of transfer unit. This study demonstrated the superiority of used packing by caning out above experiment and could be used as basic reference for design and predicting efficiency of packing tower which is filled with same packing.
