There has been very little reported on ginsenoside composition and antioxidant activity of hydroponic-cultured ginseng roots (HCR), leaves (HCL), and stems (HCS). We profiled 6 ginsenoside compounds in HCR, HCL, and HCS using high-performance liquid chromatography. Antioxidative activity of HCR, HCL, and HCS were evaluated using total phenolic content (TPC) and total flavonoid content (TFC), 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) free-radical-scavenging activity assays, and ferric reducing antioxidant power (FRAP) assays. Total ginsenoside contents of HCL and HCS were significantly higher than that of HCR (P<0.05). Rb1 was detected in HCR (23.02 mg/g) but was detected at very low levels in HCL and HCS (2.07∼7.30 mg/g). Rg1 was the most abundant ingredient in HCL, followed by Rd; this was different than for HCR and HCS. The TPC and TFC ranged from 52.82∼155.31 mg gallic acid equivalent/100 g and 194.71∼256.52 mg quercetin equivalent/100 g, respectively, of which HCL contained the highest levels. Moreover, HCL was the most effective in both DPPH and FRAP activities. In this study, we also evaluated the inhibitory effect of HCR, HCL, and HCS on the activities of mushroom tyrosinase through whitening activity test. The inhibitory effect of HCL on tyrosinase activity was higher than that of HCR and HCS. This study provides information about ginsenoside contents and the antioxidative activity of hydroponic-cultured ginseng, and suggests that the whole ginseng plant (including roots, leaves, and stems) may be a beneficial functional vegetables.
Digital Permanent wave의 Wave 정도에 대한 一般人의 認知

This is a paper about how ordinary people are recognizing the formation degree of the Digital Permanent Waves from the thermal Permanent that is preferred nowadays. First, we set up the waves of the Digital Permanent Wave as a optional formation rate to make ordinary people evaluate the response. Second, we set up formation rates from 10% to 50% and rod sizes from 12mm to 26mm to make ordinary people evaluate the degree of the wave more carefully. We analyzed the results of the frequency and the results are as follows. We got the responses from the ordinary people when the rod sizes were 12mm to 16mm. The formation rate from 31% to 50%. was high. And the formation rate from 21% to 30% was low, Also, the formation rate from 1% to 21% was not formed. Also, we got the responses from the ordinary people when the rod sizes were from 18mm to 16mm. The formation rate from 21% to 40% was high, And the formation rate from 11% to 20% was low, Also, the formation rate from 1% to 10% was not formed. Therefore, it can be evaluated that Digital Permanent Wave was formed when the formation rate was over 10% to 20% although there was some differences according to the rod sizes. 현재 여성들에게 선호되고 있는 열 퍼머넌트 웨이브 중에 디지털 퍼머넌트 웨이브의 형성정도에 대하여 일반인들이 어떻게 인지하고 있는지에 대한 논문이다. 디지털 퍼머넌트 웨이브의 웨이브를 임의 형성률로 설정하여 일반인들의 판단을 묻는 형식으로, 12mm~26mm까지의 로드 사이즈에 10%~50%까지의 형성률을 설정하여 웨이브 정도에 대하여 평가하도록 하였다. 이에 대한 결과를 빈도 분석 하였으며 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. Rod Size가 12mm~16mm 경우에는 31%~50%의 형성률에서 “형성률이 높다”를, 21%~30%의 형성률에서 “형성률이 낮다”를, 1%~21% 형성률에서 “형성되지 않았다” 라는 평가를 하였다. 2. Rod Size가 18mm~16mm의 경우에는 21%~40%의 형성률에서 “형성률이 높다”를, 11%~20%의 형성률에서 “형성률이 낮다”를, 1%~10% 형성률에서 “형성되지 않았다” 라는 평가를 하였다. 따라서 디지털 퍼머넌트 웨이브는 로드 사이즈에 따라 다소 차이가 있으나 최소한 10%~20%를 초과하는 형성률에 대해서 만을 “웨이브가 형성되었다” 라는 평가를 할 수 있을 것이다.
