        ALA 섭취와 수영운동이 고지방식이 흰쥐의 근섬유 형태에 따른 지질과산화와 SOD 단백질 발현에 미치는 영향

        This study was examined the effects of a-lipoic acid (ALA) supplementation and swimming exercise on lipid peroxidation and superoxide dismutase(SOD) protein expression, dependent on skeletal muscle types, in rats fed a high-fat diet. Thirty-two male rats were randomly divided into 4 groups: HS (high-fat diet sedentary group, n = 8), HE (high-fat diet exercised group, n = 8), AS (ALA supplemented diet sedentary group, n = 8), and AE (ALA supplemented diet exercised group, n = 8). The high-fat diet was composed of 35% carbohydrate, 20% protein, and 35% fat. In the exercised groups, the rats swam for 60 min/day, 5 days/week for 4 weeks. The results showed that the serum glucose, triglyceride(TG), insulin, Homeostasis model assessment of insulin resistance(HOMA-IR), and leptin levels of the AS group were significantly decreased compared to those of the HS group. In the extensor digitorum longus (EDL) and gastrocnemius muscles, the malondialdehyde (MDA) levels of HE and AE were slightly decreased compared to HS and AS, respectively. In addition, the MDA levels in the EDL and gastrocnemius muscles of the AS group were slightly decreased compared to that of the HS group despite no significant difference between the groups. However, for the MDA levels in soleus muscle, the HE rats had significantly lower contents compared to the HS group, and the MDA levels of the AS group were also significantly lower than that of the HS. However, there was no significant difference between the AS and AE groups. For Cu,Zn-SOD expression in the EDL and soleus muscles, no significant differences were found among the groups. However, Cu,Zn-SOD expression in the gastrocnemius muscle of the AS group was significantly increased compared to that of the HS group. For Mn-SOD expression in the soleus muscle, the AS and AE groups had significantly greater values compared to that of the HS and the HE, respectively. However, Mn-SOD expressions in the EDL and gastrocnemius muscles were not significantly different among the groups. From these results, it is suggested that a-lipoic acid supplementation and swimming exercise for 4 weeks had a crucial role in the inhibition of lipid peroxidation and increased SOD protein expression, dependent on skeletal muscle types, in rats fed a high-fat diet.

        Chronic ankle instability aggravate muscle functions of the hip and ankle joint in Hapkido practitioners aged 20s

        본 연구는 만성 발목 불안정성을 갖고 있는 합기도 수련자의 건측과 환측의 발목과 고관절의 근기능 특성을 알아보는 것이다. 연구 대상자들은 전문의로부터 만성 발목 불안정성으로 진단받은 20대 합기도 수련자 8명을 대상으로 선정하였으며 다음과 같은 결과를 도출하였다. 환측의 고관절 내전 근기능은 30°/sec [체중당 피크토크%(p <.05)]와 180°/sec [피크토크와 체중당 피크토크% (p <.01)]에서 환측이 건측보다 유의하게 낮았다. 환측 발목 외번 근기능은 30°/sec와 120°/sec에서 모든 변인(피크토크, 체중당 피크토크% 및 총일량)이 각각 건측에 비하여 유의하게 낮았다. 환측의 발목 내번 근기능은 30°/sec에서도 건측(체중당 피크토크%)에 비하여 유의하게 낮았다(p <.01). 그리고 발목 족저굴곡 근기능은 30°/sec [피크토크, 체중당 피크토크% 및 총일량 (p<.01)]와 120°/sec [총일량 (p <.01)]에서 각각 유의하게 낮았다. 본 연구의 결과로부터 합기도 수련자의 만성 발목 불안정성은 한 관절의 손상뿐만 아니라 역학사슬관계로 인한 다관절의 근기능 결손을 초래하게 되므로 보존적 치료 및 재활운동을 적용하는데 있어서 발목의 근위부와 원위부를 고려한 접근의 필요성이 시사되었다. Purpose: The purpose of this study was to assess the hip and ankle muscle function of the involved and the non-involved (unaffected) sides in Hapkido practitioners with chronic ankle instability. Subjects and Methods: Hapkido practitioners was conducted in males (n=8) with unilateral chronic ankle instability, who were aged in their 20s. Mann-Whitney were used to analyse the differences between the non-injured and the injured side in Hapkido practitioners with chronic ankle instability. A statistical significance level (α) of .05 was used. Results: The hip adductor muscle function of the involved side was significantly poorer than that of the non-involved side 30°/sec [peak torque% body weight (p <.05)] and 180°/sec [peak torque and peak torque% body weight (p <.01)]. The ankle evertor muscle function of the involved side compared to the non-involved side in all variables (peak torque, peak torque% body weight, and total work) were significantly less on 30°/sec and 120°/sec (p <.01). The ankle invertor muscle function of the involved side compared to the non-involved side in peak torque% body weight were significantly less on 30°/sec (p <.01). In addition, the ankle plantar flexor muscle function of the involved side was significantly worse than that of the non-involved side at 30°/sec (peak torque, peak torque% body weight, and total work [p <.01)] and 120°/sec [total work (p <.01)]. Conclusions: This study provides evidence that chronic ankle instability needs a comprehensive therapeutic approach to help prevent recurrence by addressing mechanical and functional instability.

        12주간 요가운동이 20대 여성의 신체구성, 혈액성분 및 관절가동범위에 미치는 영향

        This study was conducted to investigate the effects a 12-week yoga exercise program on body composition, ROM and blood contents of female university students. The subjects were divided into control group (CG, n=8) and yoga exercise group (YG, n=8). Yoga exercise was conducted 60min/day, 5days/week for 12 weeks. In the pre- and post-yoga exercise, the participants was evaluated body composition, muscle strength and range of motion of each articulation including cervical, spine and hip. In addition, the whole blood was collected at fasting state for determining blood parameters. The obtained results were as follows; In the physical fitness, the value of balance, sending forward and sending backward was significantly increased after a 12-week yoga exercise. In body composition, there was no significant difference in %fat and body weight. In addition, blood glucose and lipid profiles were not changed. However, the value of RBC and Hct. of YG was significantly increased after a 12-week yoga exercise. In the ROM of cervical vertebrae, the range of both side bending was significantly increased after a 12-week yoga exercise. In the ROM of lumbar vertebrae, the range of flexion, extension, right side bending and both spine rotation was significantly increased after a 12-week yoga exercise. In the ROM of hip joint, the range of extension, abduction, adduction and internal rotation was also significantly increased after a 12-week yoga exercise. However, there were not significant changes in the articular ROM in the control group for all joints. From these results, it was suggested that a 12-week yoga exercise played a crucial role for not only in improvement of hemodynamics including RBC and Hct. but also improvement of flexibility of whole body.

        8주간 파워트레이닝 프로그램이 엘리트 대학축구 선수의 하지근력, 무산소성 파워 및 젖산변화에 미치는 효과

        The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of 8weeks of power training program on leg strength, anaerobic power and blood lactate concentration in elite soccer players. Power training program was conducted 60mins/day, 3days/week for 8weeks. The subjects of this study selected 24 elite soccer players(CG=12, PG=12) and the results were as follows. In the hip strength, the interaction effect was significant in the abduction(p<.05), adduction(p<.01) and flexion(p<.05) on the left side and abduction (p<.01), adduction(p<.05), and extension(p<.01) on the right side. In the isokinetic knee muscular function, the interaction effect was significant in left knee flexor(p<.05) and extensor muscle(p<.01) function and in right knee flexor(p<.01) muscle function. Also, interaction effect of anaerobic power per body weight was significant at 1st(p<.05) and 3nd phases(p<.05), and interaction effect of lactate recovery period was significant at 30 minutes(p<.05). From the results, it was suggested that 8weeks of specific power training has a crucial role in improvement of anaerobic capacity and improved ability to recovery capacity from anaerobic exercise in elite soccer players.

        양파추출물 유산 발효 섭취가 고지방식이 흰쥐의 운동 유발성 지질과산화 및 항산화 효소에 미치는 영향

        This study was conducted to investigate the effects of lactic acid fermented Onion supplementation and acute swimming exercise on lipid peroxidation levels and SOD protein activity of rats fed a high-fat diet. Thirty-two SD male rats, 6 weeks of age, were randomly divided into 4 groups: high fat diet sedentary group(HS, n=8), high fat diet exercised group(HE, n=8), lactic acid fermented Onion supplemented sedentary group(OS, n=8), lactic acid fermented Onion supplemented exercised group(OE, n=8). They were given a high fat diet (HS and HE) or supplemented 3% of lactic acid fermented Onion(OS and OE) for 4 weeks. The animals in the swim groups swam for 60 min/days, 5 days/wk for 4 weeks in a plastic tube filled with water(temp: 35±1℃, depth 50cm, radius: 25cm). In the results, serum TG level of OE group was significantly lower than that of the HE and OS group(p<.01). Serum TC level of OS group was significantly lower than that of the HS group(p<.01) and serum HDLC level of OS group was significantly higher than that of the HS group(p<.05). Furthermore, GPx activity of HE, OS and OE group were significantly increased compared to HS.(p<.01) despite of no significant differences in SOD activity. These results suggest that Lactic acid fermented Onion supplementation has a positive effect on serum lipid profiles and antioxidant enzymes in rats during the acute swimming exercise.

        8주간의 해양심층수 섭취와 수영운동이 흰쥐의 지질대사 및 항산화 효소에 미치는 영향

        This study was conducted to investigate the effects of 8 weeks deep-sea water supplementation and swimming exercise on lipid metabolism and antioxidant enzymes of rats. Thirty-two SD male rats, 6 weeks of age, were randomly divided into 4 groups: (HS : high fat diet sedentary group n=8); (HE: high fat diet exercised group n=8); (DS: deep-sea water supplemented sedentary group n=8); (DE : deep-sea water supplemented exercised group n=8), given a high fat diet and free access to tap water (HS and HE) or deep-sea water (DS and DE) for 8 weeks, and housed in groups of two per cage under controlled temperature(23±1℃) and relative humidity(50±5%). The light/dark cycle was automatically controlled(alternation 12-h periods) and lighting was begun at 8:00. The animals in the swim groups swam for 60 min/day-1, 5 days/wk, 2% load/weight for 8weeks in a large plastic tube filled with water(temp. : 35±1℃, depth : 50㎝, radius : 25㎝). In the results, Serum TG level of DS group was lower than HS group, but there was no significantly difference. Furthermore, PPAR-γ and PGC-1α were slightly increased in deep-sea water supplemented groups. The Mn-SOD protein expression of DS group was significantly higher than HS group (p<.01) and the value of DE was slightly higher than HE group. These results suggest that deep-sea water supplementation and exercise has a positive effect on lipid metabolism and antioxidant enzymes in rats by decreasing serum TG levels, and increasing PPAR-γ, PGC-1α, and Mn-SOD protein expression.

        특이적 파워 트레이닝 프로그램이 엘리트 축구선수들의 유산소 기능 및 체력요인에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of 8weeks specific power training program on aerobic capacity and physical fitness factors in elite soccer players. The specific power training program was conducted 60min/day, 3days/week for 8weeks. 24 elite soccer players participated in this study and the results are as follows: In the aerobic capacity, the interaction effect between time and group was significant in total exercise time, V˙O₂max, and blood lactate concentration of 30 minutes immediately after exercise. In addition to the physical fitness factors, the interaction effect between the time and the group was significant in both the health related fitness(muscle strength, muscle endurance, flexibility) and the skill related fitness(muscle power, agility, reaction time, balance). From the results, it was suggested that the 8weeks specific power training consisting of repetitive jumping and moving elements with weight bearing induces improvement of aerobic capacity such as exercise duration ability, fatigue recovery ability and maximum oxygen uptake, and muscle functions. Therefore, It was thought that specific power training program is very helpful to improve physical fitness and performance ability for elite soccer players.
