        8주간의 해양심층수 섭취와 수영운동이 흰쥐의 지질대사 및 항산화 효소에 미치는 영향

        This study was conducted to investigate the effects of 8 weeks deep-sea water supplementation and swimming exercise on lipid metabolism and antioxidant enzymes of rats. Thirty-two SD male rats, 6 weeks of age, were randomly divided into 4 groups: (HS : high fat diet sedentary group n=8); (HE: high fat diet exercised group n=8); (DS: deep-sea water supplemented sedentary group n=8); (DE : deep-sea water supplemented exercised group n=8), given a high fat diet and free access to tap water (HS and HE) or deep-sea water (DS and DE) for 8 weeks, and housed in groups of two per cage under controlled temperature(23±1℃) and relative humidity(50±5%). The light/dark cycle was automatically controlled(alternation 12-h periods) and lighting was begun at 8:00. The animals in the swim groups swam for 60 min/day-1, 5 days/wk, 2% load/weight for 8weeks in a large plastic tube filled with water(temp. : 35±1℃, depth : 50㎝, radius : 25㎝). In the results, Serum TG level of DS group was lower than HS group, but there was no significantly difference. Furthermore, PPAR-γ and PGC-1α were slightly increased in deep-sea water supplemented groups. The Mn-SOD protein expression of DS group was significantly higher than HS group (p<.01) and the value of DE was slightly higher than HE group. These results suggest that deep-sea water supplementation and exercise has a positive effect on lipid metabolism and antioxidant enzymes in rats by decreasing serum TG levels, and increasing PPAR-γ, PGC-1α, and Mn-SOD protein expression.

        ALA 섭취와 수영운동이 고지방식이 흰쥐의 근섬유 형태에 따른 지질과산화와 SOD 단백질 발현에 미치는 영향

        This study was examined the effects of a-lipoic acid (ALA) supplementation and swimming exercise on lipid peroxidation and superoxide dismutase(SOD) protein expression, dependent on skeletal muscle types, in rats fed a high-fat diet. Thirty-two male rats were randomly divided into 4 groups: HS (high-fat diet sedentary group, n = 8), HE (high-fat diet exercised group, n = 8), AS (ALA supplemented diet sedentary group, n = 8), and AE (ALA supplemented diet exercised group, n = 8). The high-fat diet was composed of 35% carbohydrate, 20% protein, and 35% fat. In the exercised groups, the rats swam for 60 min/day, 5 days/week for 4 weeks. The results showed that the serum glucose, triglyceride(TG), insulin, Homeostasis model assessment of insulin resistance(HOMA-IR), and leptin levels of the AS group were significantly decreased compared to those of the HS group. In the extensor digitorum longus (EDL) and gastrocnemius muscles, the malondialdehyde (MDA) levels of HE and AE were slightly decreased compared to HS and AS, respectively. In addition, the MDA levels in the EDL and gastrocnemius muscles of the AS group were slightly decreased compared to that of the HS group despite no significant difference between the groups. However, for the MDA levels in soleus muscle, the HE rats had significantly lower contents compared to the HS group, and the MDA levels of the AS group were also significantly lower than that of the HS. However, there was no significant difference between the AS and AE groups. For Cu,Zn-SOD expression in the EDL and soleus muscles, no significant differences were found among the groups. However, Cu,Zn-SOD expression in the gastrocnemius muscle of the AS group was significantly increased compared to that of the HS group. For Mn-SOD expression in the soleus muscle, the AS and AE groups had significantly greater values compared to that of the HS and the HE, respectively. However, Mn-SOD expressions in the EDL and gastrocnemius muscles were not significantly different among the groups. From these results, it is suggested that a-lipoic acid supplementation and swimming exercise for 4 weeks had a crucial role in the inhibition of lipid peroxidation and increased SOD protein expression, dependent on skeletal muscle types, in rats fed a high-fat diet.

        12주간 요가운동이 20대 여성의 신체구성, 혈액성분 및 관절가동범위에 미치는 영향

        This study was conducted to investigate the effects a 12-week yoga exercise program on body composition, ROM and blood contents of female university students. The subjects were divided into control group (CG, n=8) and yoga exercise group (YG, n=8). Yoga exercise was conducted 60min/day, 5days/week for 12 weeks. In the pre- and post-yoga exercise, the participants was evaluated body composition, muscle strength and range of motion of each articulation including cervical, spine and hip. In addition, the whole blood was collected at fasting state for determining blood parameters. The obtained results were as follows; In the physical fitness, the value of balance, sending forward and sending backward was significantly increased after a 12-week yoga exercise. In body composition, there was no significant difference in %fat and body weight. In addition, blood glucose and lipid profiles were not changed. However, the value of RBC and Hct. of YG was significantly increased after a 12-week yoga exercise. In the ROM of cervical vertebrae, the range of both side bending was significantly increased after a 12-week yoga exercise. In the ROM of lumbar vertebrae, the range of flexion, extension, right side bending and both spine rotation was significantly increased after a 12-week yoga exercise. In the ROM of hip joint, the range of extension, abduction, adduction and internal rotation was also significantly increased after a 12-week yoga exercise. However, there were not significant changes in the articular ROM in the control group for all joints. From these results, it was suggested that a 12-week yoga exercise played a crucial role for not only in improvement of hemodynamics including RBC and Hct. but also improvement of flexibility of whole body.

        복합 트레이닝이 고교 레슬링 선수의 기초체력과 피로회복 및 운동 유발성 스트레스 반응에 미치는 영향

        연구는 복합트레이닝이 고교 레슬링 선수의 기초체력과 일회성 무산소 운동에 따른 피로회복 및 운동 유발성 스트레스 반응에 미치는 영향에 대해 연구하였다. 본 연구에서는 8명의 고교 레슬링선수를 대상으로 3개월간의 복합 트레이닝을 실시하였으며, 대조군은 일반 남자 고교생 8명으로 3개월간 특별한 운동을 실시하지 않았다. 모든 피험자들은 3개월간의 복합 트레이닝 전·후에 기초체력검사(좌전굴, 눈감고 외발서기, 악력, 배근력, 서전트점프, 윗몸일으키기, 전신반응), wingate test(peak power, mean power, fatigue index) 및 혈청분석(C-reactive protein: CRP, lactate dehydrogenase: LDH, lactate)을 실시하였다. 본 연구 결과, 기초체력에서는 유연성, 눈감고 외발서기, 윗몸일으키기 및 전신반응 능력이 복합 트레이닝 후 유의한 개선 효과를 나타내었다. 그리고 혈청 CRP 농도는 측정시기에 의한 유의한 차이가 나타났으며, 측정 시기와 그룹 간 상호작용효과가 나타났다. 또한, LDH 활성과 lactate 농도는 측정시기에 의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과로부터 고교레슬링 선수들을 대상으로 한 복합 트레이닝은 기초체력의 향상과 함께 일회성무산소 운동에 따른 피로와 운동 유발성 스트레스를 억제하는 긍정적인 효과가 있는 것으로 시사되었다. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of combined training on basic physical strength, and fatigue recovery and exercise-induced stress response in high school wrestling athletes. Eight male high school students were performed combined training for 3 months. Basic physical strength test and wingate test were tested before and after participation in combined training program for 3 months. In the basic physical strength test, flexibility, closed eyes with single leg stand, sit-ups, and reaction time were significantly improved in the post training, respectively. Furthermore, the CRP was significantly different between pre- and post-, and the difference appeared in interaction of time and group. Additionally, LDH and lactate were showed significantly different between pre- and post-. In conclusion, combined training have a crucial role in amelioration of fatigue recovery and acute exercise induced stress response as well as improve basic physical strength in high school wrestling athletes.

        산양삼을 첨가한 고지방식이 흰쥐 골격근의 지질과산화 및 항산화 단백질 발현 효과

        We investigated the effect of mountain ginseng-added high fat diet supplementation on lipid peroxidation and antioxidant protein expressions in rats. Thirty-two male rats were randomly divided into 4 groups; HS (high-fat diet sedentary group, n=8), MG1 (0.5% mountain ginseng-added diet group, n=8), MG2 (1% mountain ginseng-added diet group, n=8) and MG3 (2% mountain ginseng-added diet group, n=8). They have fed the diet for 4 weeks, The blood triglyceride were significantly lower in the MG1 and MG2 groups than that of the HS group, The blood HDL-cholesterol were significantly higher in the MG3 group than that of the HS and MG2 groups. The muscle glycogen contents of the MG2 and MG3 groups were significantly higher than that of HS and MG1 groups. The MDA contents in the MG1, MG2 and MG3 groups tended to lower than the HS group. The GPx protein expression in the gastrocnemius muscle of the MG2 group was significantly increased compared to that of the HS group. The Cu, Zn-SOD protein expression in the gastrocnemius muscle of the MG1 and MG2 groups was significantly increased compared to that of the MG3 group. The Mn-SOD protein expression in the MG1, MG2 and MG3 groups tended to higher than the HS group. From these results, it was suggested that mountain ginseng-added diet may have an crucial role on decreased MDA levels and increased antioxidant function in the skeletal muscle of rat fed a high fat diet.

        동결건조한 천년초(Optuntia Humifusa) 분말섭취가 20대 남성의 운동 유발성 스트레스반응에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study was evaluate the effect of Opuntia Humifusa(OH) supplementation on exercise-induced stress reaction in twenty male for 2 weeks. All the subjects were performed a single bout of exercise by using a cycle ergometer before and after 2 weeks of treatment. Experimental group consumed OH (6mg/day) for 2weeks. Collected blood samples were used for analyzing glucose, triglyceride(TG), total cholesterol(TC), and high-density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDLC). In addition, exercise-induced stress markers including creatine phosphokinase(CPK), C-reactive protein(CRP), lactate dehydrogenase(LDH), uric acid(UA), IL-1beta, and IL-6. In the results, glucose were significantly decreased in experimental group after 2 weeks of OH supplementation. However, although the CRP level was tend to decreased after 2 hours recovery of experimental group in the post period, exercise-induced stress markers were not showed significantly change after OH supplementation. These results suggested that 2 weeks of OH supplementation showed crucial role in lowering blood glucose level and a possibility of protective role in cardiovascular stress after a single bout of strenuous exercise in twenty male.

        천년초(Opuntia Humifusa) 섭취와 수영운동이 고지방식이 흰쥐의 지질 과산화 및 항산화 단백질 발현에 미치는 영향

        This study was conducted to investigate the effects of Opuntia Humifusa supplementation and swimming exercise of 8 weeks on lipid peroxidation and antioxidant protein expression of rats fed a high-fat diet. Thirty-two Sprague-Dawely male rats, 6 week of age, were randomly divided into 4 groups: high fat diet sedentary group(HS, N=8), high fat diet exercised group(HE, n=8), Opuntia Humiifusa supplemented sedentary group(OS, n=8), Opunta Humifusa supplemented exercise gurop(OE, n=8). They were given a high fat diet (HS and HE) or supplemented 5% of Opuntia Humifusa(OS and OE) for 8 weeks. The animals in the swim groups swam for 60 min/day, 5day/wk for 8 weeks in a plastic tube filled with water(temp: 35±1℃, depth 50cm, radius: 25cm). In the results, the body weight were significantly lower in the HE and OS group than that of the HS group(p<.01, p<.05). The muscle MDA(malondialdehyde) levels of OS and OE groups was significantly lower than those of the HS and HE groups, respectively(p<.01, p<.05). In addition, GPx(glutathione peroxidase) protein expressions in the soleus muscle of HE and OS groups was significantly increased compared to those of HS group(p<.01, p<.05). The Cu,Zn-SOD and Mn-SOD protein expressions was tended to higher value than those of th HS and HE groups. From these results, it was suggested that Opuntia Humifusa supplementation palys a positive role for the inhibition of lipid peroxidation due to increasing muscle GPx protein expression and decreasing muscle MDA content.

        The effect of powdered Opuntia hmifusa supplementation on suppression of swimming exercise-induced bone loss in growing male rats

        본 연구는 천년초 처치가 성장기 흰쥐의 수영운동에 따른 골소실 억제에 어떠한 효과가 있는지에 대해 연구하였다. 32마리의 수컷 SD 쥐를 고지방식이 대조군(n=8), 고지방식이 운동군(n=8), 5% 천년초 처치 대조군(n=8), 5% 천년초 처치 운동군(n=8)으로 무선 배정하였다. 본 연구에서 사용한 고지방 식이의 조성은 탄수화물 48%, 지방 20% 및 단백질 20%로서 AIN-76G를 기준으로 하여 각각 치환하여 제조하였으며, 천년초 식이는 고지방식이의 조성에서 각각 탄수화물, 지방, 단백질 및 식이섬유를 치환하여 제조하였다. 연구결과, 혈청 오스테오칼신 농도는 천년초 처치군이 고지방식이군에 비해 유의하게 높은 것으로 나타났으며, 혈청 부갑상선호르몬 농도는 OE군이 HE군에 비해 유의하게 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 대퇴골의 BMC와 BMD는 HE군이 HS군에 비해 유의하게 낮은 것으로 나타났으며, 대퇴골과 경골의 BMC 및 BMD는 OE군이 HE군에 비해 유의하게 높은 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 상완골의 BMD와 경골의 파단강도는 OE군이 HE군에 비해 각각 유의하게 높은 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 본 연구의 결과를 종합해보면 성장기 흰쥐에게 천년초의 처치는 부갑상선호르몬 분비의 억제와 오스테오칼신 농도를 증가시킴으로써 BMD와 BMC를 증가시켜 수영운동에 의한 골소실 예방에 긍정적인 효과가 있음을 시사하였다.

        편축음료 복용이 지구성 운동수행능력 및 근피로, 혈액성분변화에 미치는 영화

        This study was conducted to investigate the effect of Polygonum Aviculare L. extract drink on exercise performance, improvement of muscle fatigue and change of blood components. The subjects were 8 healthy young males of 20 years-old and they were given 400㎖ of Polygonum Aviculare L. extract drink(test drink) daily for 2 weeks. They were evaluated body composition, maximal oxygen uptake with progressive loaded exercise test and related blood components at the pre- and post-supplemented the test drink. Blood was obtained at rest, immediately after exercise, 1 hour after exercise, 24 hour after exercise to evaluate hematological factors, respectively. With respect to HRmax, there was significant changes between pre- and post-supplemented the drink of Polygonum Aviculare L. extract. However, the blood lactate concentration were no significant changes between pre- and post-supplemented the tets drink. In the blood hemoglobin concentration and RBC counts, there were no significant changes between pre- and post-supplemented the tets drink. However, hematocrit of pre-exercise and recovery 24 hour of the post-supplemented the test drink was significantly increased compared to the pre-exercise and recovery 24 hour of the pre-supplemented the test drink. In the blood total-cholesterol, HDL-cholesterol and CRP concentration, there were no significant changes between pre-and post-supplemented the tets drink. However, triglyceride of immediately after exercise and recovery 1 hour of the post-supplemented the test drink was significantly decreased compared to the immediately after exercise and recovery 1 hour of the pre-supplemented the test drink. From these results, it was suggested that the supplementation of Polygonum Aviculare 1. extract drink have an antiatherosclerotic and aerobic exercise performanc effect although there was no effect on antifatigue.
