        실버용 제품 설계를 위한 손의 동작 범위 및 근력에 관한 연구

        본 연구의 목적은 고령자의 기능에 적합한 제품을 설계하기 위하여 손의 동작 범위와 근력을 측정ㆍ평가 하는 것이다. 이를 위하여 20연령대에서 80연령대의 여성 227명을 대상으로 하여 손의 동작 4가지에 대하여 요골편향과 척골 편향의 범위를 측정하였다. 또한 물체를 잡을 때의 손의 모양을 3가지로 분류하여 요골 방향과 척골 방향으로 비트는 최대 근력을 조사하였으며, 상관관계 분석을 통하여 동작 범위와 근력에 영향을 미치는 요인들의 관계를 검토하였다. 동작 범위는 20연령대가 가장 크고 근력은 30연령대에서 가장 큰 것으로 조사되었으며 그 후 점차 감소하는 경향이 있었다. 특히 70연령대에서 감소폭이 컸다. 70연령대의 요골 편향의 범위는 20연령대에 비해 30.5%정도 낮았으며, 척골 편향은 그 기능이 상대적으로 오랫동안 유지되어 23.1%정도 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 물체를 잡고 비틀 때의 근력은 요골 방향으로 비틀 때가 척골 방향으로 비틀 때 보다 높게 나타났으며 연령, 잡는 손의 모양, 사용하는 손가락의 수에 따라 차이가 있는 것으로 조사되었다. The present study investigated the range of hand motions and maximum strength of Korean women in wrist operations. A total of 227 women in 20s to 80s participated in the study. The range of hand motions were two twisting directions (clockwise and counterclockwise) and the maximum strength was measured for the combinations of three grip diameters. The women in 30s showed significantly higher maximum torques; a rapid decline was observed in maximum torque for the women aged 70 years or older. In conclusion, the present study determined the maximum strengths in the radial and ulnar deviation are dependent on the types of gripping actions, and their range of actions. It is expected, as a result of this study, that these findings can be utilized as a standard for calculating strength appropriate to humans in the design of tools and products that require actions with radial and ulnar deviation. Specifically, range of hand motions in three types grasp that was not addressed in the previous studies may have significance as a new standard for the design of tools and products.

        한국 요양보호사 산업재해의 연도별 변화추이

        Objectives: To investigate the trends of industrial injuries among long-term health care workers in Korea Methods: T7866 injuries were selected from the total industrial injuries approved by the Industrial Accident Compensation Insurance Act(Occupational Safety and Health Act) among long-term health care workers between 2007 and 2016 in Korea. We analyzied the trends of industrial injuries according to work process, occurrence type, and causes. Results: The industrial injuries among long-term health care workers increased since 2012. The mostly occurred area for industrial injuries were low back areas, which is related that the most serious industrial injuries occurred when the one long-term healthcare worker lift manually the recipient, from bed(ondol, Korean floor heating system) to a wheelchair, bed to bath bed, and wheelchair to bath chair. In addition to this, lack of workforce, increased work intensity due to overwork contributed the increasing of occupational injury. Conclusions: This study suggests that the main causes of industrial injuries were Lack of facilities and equipment for small private long-term care institutions, The physical load that goes into lifting the recipient directly, work intensity such as excessive workload and increased work speed. We suggest that the social publicization of long-term care service for the elderly, avoiding ways to lift recipients directly, introducing lifting machines as well as improving working methods, and reducing the workload of caregivers are required.

        노인에서 난청 의심자와 보청기 사용자의 삶의 질 비교

        Purpose : Aim of the this study was conducted to determine whether hearing aids are responsible for the quality of life by comparing quality of life between the elderly who are suspected of difficulty in hearing selected by Hearing Handicap Inventory of Elderly (HHIE) without using hearing aids and who are using hearing aids. Methods : For the study, two groups of 33 people were analyzed for independent t-test based on whether they wore Hearing Aids (HA) or not whom wearing hearing aids (hearing aids users) and suspected difficulty in hearing. who are attending the Religious organization Senior Welfare Center in the OO region. Result : The quality of life of hearing aid users is generally observed to be higher than that of non-users in general, and by the section, psychological (p=0.019) and living environment (p=0.032) were appeared statistically signigicant. The elderly showed a significant difference. In the section, "Operation Satisfaction (p=0.038)" in the physical health area, "relationship of reason (p=0.018)" in the social relationship area, "Economic margin (p=0.021)" in the environmental area, "Information accessibility (p=0.020)", In the psychological area, hearing aid was used for "self satisfaction (p=0.033)", "concentration of work (p=0.045)". Conclusion : The use of hearing aids by hearing loss elderly improves the quality of life in the psychological health and living environment section.

        작목별 농작업 재해 유형 분석

        Objective: The purpose of this study is to identify the types of farming accidents that occur differently depending on the crops. Background: Agriculture is difficult to standardize workplaces, and work is done in a wide variety of ways depending on the terrain and crops. Safety measures also need to be established by the line of sight to suit their characteristics, for this purpose. It is necessary to examine the nature of farm work accidents appears to crops. Method: In the study, 251 replying questionnaires were used. Through this, we identified the major types of accidents by seven kinds of crops. Results: Slip and trip accidents occur at the highest rate in all crops, and other accidents occur differently depending on the crop. Conclusion: This study is significant in that it describes the characteristics of the accidents that occur according to the crop. Application: The results of this study provide accident characteristics that occur differently according to the crops, which can be used as basic data for establishing agricultural safety measures.

        This study aimed to evaluate the perceived exertion and satisfaction in opening and closing SUV tailgates and explain them with the mechanical force. The study measured the mechanical open and close force for 42 SUV tailgates and evaluated perceived exertion and satisfaction of opening and closing with 100 male participants from 20’s to 50’s. The regression models of perceived exertion and satisfaction showed that small initial closing and opening force, difference between initial and maximum closing force and difference between initial and auto-fall angle have positive effect. The results of the study will be helpful to design and test mechanical open and close structure of SUV tailgates.

        Evaluation of Perceived Exertion and Satisfaction in Opening and Closing Tailgates of Sport Utility Vehicles

        The difficulties in opening and closing a sport utility vehicle (SUV) tailgate is important aspect of JD (James David) power’s Initial Quality Survey (IQS) assessment, and affective quality has a big impact on the the success of thesedays products. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the perceived difficulty and satisfaction of customers by the opening and closing of the tailgate and to grasp the relationship between them and the opening and closing reaction force. The mechanical force required to open and close 42 domestic and overseas SUV tailgates was measured with the help of an auto company. In the experiment, 100 male drivers in their 20s to 50s evaluated perceived difficulty and satisfaction with opening and closing the tailgate. The results of the analysis showed that perceived difficulty and satisfaction were statistically different depending on the vehicle, but did not depend on the personal characteristics of the participants. The perceived difficulty and satisfaction regression model of tailgate opening and closing was developed by mechanical force variables and had a relatively high adjusted R2 ranging from 0.62 to 0.73. The models showed that the the initial close and open force, the difference between initial and maximum close force and the difference between initial and auto-fall angle should be small for the low perceived exertion and high satisfaction. In addition, the correlation analysis between IQS score of tailages and perceived difficulty and satisfaction showed that the IQS scores were more related to the perceived difficulty and satisfaction of closing than those of opening. The results of the study will be helpful to design and test mechanical open and close structure of SUV tailgates.

        소형 Screw Cap Opener 개발에 관한 연구

        The effectivenes of the opener has also been evaluated. The developed opener increased the torque capability of the wrist by 3.2 times so that most of the elderly can open screw caps. In this study the range of the screw cap sizes tested were between 22.0~ 32.0m, which covers over 92.0% of the screw caps in the market that are difficult to open. This particular screw cap opener developed in this study applies to the aged asstrength.

        농기계 사고와 안전에 관한 연구동향 분석

        본 연구에서는 농기계 사고 대책 및 안전에 대한 연구 동향을 파악하고 그 내용을 분석하였다. 농업기계로 인한 안전을 다룬 연구는 사고 현황 조사와 사고조사 방법의 문제를 제기한 연구들로 분류할 수 있었으며, 농기계 안전사고의 원인분석에 관한 연구들은 국가차원과 포괄적인 농작업 재해 테두리 내에서 다루어지고 있었다. 안전사고의 예방과 관리에 대한 연구는 농기계 종류에 따른 사용자 요구 분석과 관리적, 교육적, 재정적 지원책에 대한 연구들이 수행되고 있었다. 또한 보다 적극적으로 농기계 사고에 대응하기 위해서 고령자의 기능과 능력에 대한 연구의 활성화가 필요함을 알 수 있었다. This study analyzed any accidents occurred by agricultural machines and comprehended the safety for trends in the current research. The researches pertaining to the safety for agricultural machines are identified by two different methods: scrutinizing the statistical data for accidents and suggesting solutions to ways of an investigation. Other researches related to investigations for the accidents by agricultural machines are planned on the national level and the broad terms of an accident of agricultural activities. The studies are conducted for the prevention and control of accidents about the requirement analysis as well as administrative, educational and financial policy in accordance with the different kinds of the agricultural machines. In addition, for the better responses to injuries caused by the agricultural machines, more researches about the function and ability of elders are much needed.

        하지마비 장애인의 인체치수, 동작범위 및 근력 측정항목 개발

        본 연구는 하지마비 장애인의 소도구 및 편이장비와 같은 보조공학기기의 설계를 위해 하지마비 장애인의 신체와 기능을 고려한 신체 치수와 기능을 측정하기 위한 항목을 개발하고자 한다. 이를 위해 한국인 인체측정과 장애인 인체측정 자료들을 분석하고 연구진과 자문단의 단계적 절차에 따라 4차에 걸친 협의가 실시되었다. 인체측정에는 총 4개 분류 항목에 78개의 세부 인체 항목을 도출하였으며, 분류별 항목은 기본 측정 항목 14개, 앉은자세 측정 항목 25개, 동작 범위 측정 항목 27개, 근력측정 항목 12개였다. 상지의 보다 세부적 측정을 위해 기본 측정항목 분류에 3항목, 앉은 자세 분류에 3항목, 동작 범위 분류에 7항목, 근력 분류에 12항목으로 총 25항목에 대해 새로운 기준점 및 측정방법, 측정도구와 주의사항을 추가적으로 개발하였다. 이와 같은 항목 개발은 하지마비 장애인의 신체 수치 및 기능의 규격화된 수치를 산출하고, 이를 통한 하지마비 장애인 맞춤형 소도구 및 편이장비의 개발로 장애인의 고용, 일상생활 개선 및 보조기기 개발 분야에 기초 정보로 활용 될 수 있다. The purpose of the study was to develop items for measuring body dimensions and functions in consideration of persons with paraplegia for designing assistive technology devices such as devices and convenience equipment. To do so, the anthropometric data for Koreans and persons with disabilities were analyzed, and four conferences were conducted in accordance with the step-by-step procedure of the researchers and advisors. For the anthropometric measurement, 78 detailed human body items were derived from a total of 4 categories, and the items for each classification were 14 basic measurement items, 25 sitting posture measurement items, 27 range of motion measurement items, and 12 muscle strength measurement items. For more detailed measurement of the upper limb, new reference points and measurement methods, measurement tools were included for a total of 25 items with 3 items for basic measurement category classification, 3 items for sitting posture classification, 7 items for motion range classification, and 12 items for muscle strength classification. The development of these items can be utilized for standardized values of the physical figures and functions of individuals with paraplegia, and customized props and convenience equipment for them. The measurements would be applied as basic information in the fields of employment, daily life improvement and assistive device development.
